- Room was comfortable, view was nice, location good.
- Party hotel - security called at 2am because of party.
“This is a party hotel. If you like to go to bed early and rise early and sleep through the night, this hotel is NOT for you. If you like to party well into the night than you will be right at home. Personally, I like to sleep through the night, so I will not be staying at this hotel again. The Union Station would be a better match.”

- It is very close to downtown
- Was crowded and ill equiped for that many people.
“The hotel was nice but they had a convention going on and there were so many people that it was 45 minutes to get on the elevator to our room. We had to take the stairs to the 10th floor!”

- It was close to all of the main attractions.
- Food in In room dining could have been better.
“I was overall pleased with my experience at Renaissance Hotel Nashville. The staff was very helpful when I had questions and the location was wonderful. Could walk a few blocks to all the main areas. One thing that could use improving was the food at the hotel. We ordered room service the 1st night we arrived and it was so-so. We also ate the buffet at the restaurant and it was average.”

- Room and common areas were nice.
- 3 check-in staffers ignored until we asked to register.
“We did not feel welcome at the hotel. A fire alarm went off at about 1:30 AM and we were instructed to evacuate the hotel and told that this was not a drill. When we descended the 10 flights of stairs, not one said a word to us with further instructions. We went outside and the fire truck drove by. Still no instructions. We then went to the front desk and they said someone had falsely pulled the alarm. There was no further announcement that it was false. Disabled people were subjected to evacuating, when a simple announcement that it was a false alarm would have helped.”

- Room was nice and clean with comfortable beds and a flat screen tv.
- The shower pressure was absolutely pitiful.
“Nice hotel in a decent location for downtown Nashville. The room was as expected, two queens - kings were all booked out, clean and quiet. Liked that the TV was a flat screen with some HD channels. Only downside was the shower - zero pressure with some odd water saver head, barely able to wash the shampoo out of your hair. That one item pretty much killed it for me - I'd stay somewhere else next time to get a decent shower in the morning.”

“Hotel met every expectation of quality. Overall experience was superb, but would have liked to have at least a micro fridge in room. But didn't degrade overall stay. Room service was decent but food arrived a bit chilled, and calamari seemed like it was reheated and not fresh.”

“Overall a positive experience but 1 morning I ordered breakfast and without any exaggeration it was the worst breakfast I have ever had in a hotel; Eggs Benedicts showed up with no Suace! bacon and hasbrown were simply discusting to say the least; what a disappointment for a $47 breakfast!”

- Great location for downtown sight-seeing.
- This hotel charges $12 (minimum) a day for internet service.
“This hotel was upscale, comfortable and clean. We were given exactly what we asked for upon arrival which was a room with double beds and a good view. We saved money by parking ourselves in an adjacent parking building which was very convenient. The only thing we didn't like was that there was no free internet in our room. Overall we were very pleased with the accommodations.”

- Easy to get to and in/out of.
- No free wireless internet and the valet charges are steep!
“Typically above average Hyatt property. Room was very nice and the hotel was modern and sophisticated. However, no wireless internet, are you kidding me? The valet service is almost $40 per day, very steep for this part of Chicago. Overall 7.5 out of 10. Fix those 2 things and they'd get 9 out of 10. Will not be going back.”

- It was within walking distance to several things we wanted to see.
- Room was smaller than expected.
“This hotel is more of a hotel for people attending a convention. The ice bucket wasn't clean. It didn't have many extras, it was a little more than a standard hotel. Although the lobby and public places looked a little more upscale, I was a little disappointed in the room. I wouldn't call it a 4 star hotel.”

- The concierge was so helpful, the guys drove us down the street, recommended great restaurants and things to do.
- There was a creepy guy in the gym behind the desk, stared a lot and seemed very strange, mid 50's, short, a little greasy, a little bit frightening.
“I wish I could remember names. The concierge guys were great. The front desk was nice and the guys in the 2nd story casual restaurant were great too. Overall, it was extremely nice. Hard to get on the internet a couple of times in the lobby connection. It was clean and comfy. Very nice time.”

- Thin walls you could hear inside the other rooms.
“The hotel is a very nice downtown hotel. The rooms were nice and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was fine also. Our only complaint was the noise from the other rooms. The walls are apparently very thin. I could hear the woman next door cough all night long the first night as though she were in our room. The 2nd night we could hers the TV in the room on the other side of us until 2 in the morning and I don't think they had it on all that loud. In the morning we could hear the wake-up call in their room as though it was ringing in our room. The doors slam and shake your room. I am really not a light sleeper--they should really try to do something about the noise.”

- Sound abatement is the worst between rooms. Bathroom sound travels as well as bedrooms.
“Starbucks theme overpowers the entire lobby. Although the location was perfect. The hotel itself, from the hidden and misplaced pool/gym to the worst acoustics of any hotel I've ever stated in. I could hear every whisper or bodily function from the rooms on both sides of me - as though the walls were made of paper. The neon lobby was silly and immature. The Sheraton a few blocks away was classy, stylized and a true four star impression. The Marriott on Commerce was Holiday Inn, by the highway quality.”

- Great location, Indoor Pool with Jacuzzi, Comfortable Beds.
- Little more than I wanted to pay.
“My family and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. We were walking distance away from great food and our favorited Hockey team the Nashville Predators. We enjoyed the indoor pool considering we haven't got to swim since August and we were only a short driving distance away from an ice skating rink. My wife and I had my 7 year old daughter and my 5 year old son with us. The kids absolutely loved riding the glass elevator to the upper floors. It cost a little more than I wanted to spend on a hotel but we did have an awesome time.”

- Very nice and clean. Almost luxurious.
- Attitude of staff.
