• Indoor pool and hot tub. Location.
• Beds were old and worn out. Back ache.

“Great location and facilities. Our room was a twin bed not king as asked. Bed was very uncomfortable. In general good place to stay. Breakfast was good. Coffee mediocre.”

• Good free breakfast, and very friendly staff.
• Hot tub was too cold, but indoor pool area overall was nice.

“I was happy with my stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Pigeon Forge. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and the hotel has a good free breakfast in the mornings. The indoor pool area was nice, but the hot tub was too cold.”

• Great hot breakfast.
• The pool was not very clean.

“The hotel overall met our needs. The hotel room was very clean and the breakfast was hot with lots of variety. The only thing that we were not satisfied with, was the pool. The pool was not the cleanest with dark dirty areas on the bottom of it. The pool also was very gritty on the bottom as you walked in it.”

• Pool too cold and they run out of yogurt every morning and would not restock.

“This was an excellent hotel that met my needs. The rooms were clean and service and staff were great. My only complaint was at checkout there was only one person doing everything. We had a line of about 8 people needing to check out or help with other things and only one person to answer the phone, make reservations for an attraction for a guest, and to do check outs and other needs. I was second in line and I had to wait 15 minutes, not sure how long the others waited because we all got there at the same time.”

• The heated indoor pool did not seem warm enough.

• The beds were luxurious!
• It was hard to find at first because it wasn't on the "strip".

“This hotel was excellent in every way. The beds were so comfortable, the room was spacious, the staff went out of their way to be helpful, and their complimentary breakfast was very good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and if I'm ever back in Pigeon Forge, I will stay there.”

• I loved the Jacuzzi and fireplace. It was very pretty. And the bed was so comfortable.
• The front desk lady wasn't as polite as she could have been. It seemed like we disrupted her from what she was doing when we came to check it.

“It was about what I expected for the price I paid. It wasn't luxurious, and it kind of smelled (but we were in a smoking unit) but overall it was nice. The Jacuzzi was so relaxing and so was the bed. The sheets felt like Egyptian cotton. The fireplace was my favorite part. We turned it on even though it wasn't that cold in the room. It looked so real! The soap actually smelled good! I loved that we had our own coffee maker and coffee packets. We enjoyed the breakfast bar. I would probably stay there again, but only for the king Jacuzzi suite.”

• We got a comfortable room at a comfortable rate. A guy was checking in right before us and he had to pay $41.00 more per night than we did.
• The coffee pot was dirty other than that everything was fine.

“The Holiday Inn Express in pigeon forge is in a good location. It was convenient to a lot of restaurants, and the back roads to avoid a lot of traffic. the bed was comfortable, and we had a great time. when we were leaving we saw a bunch of new mattresses outside so they were apparently changing the mattresses. It feels good to know they change them periodically.”

• I fell I paid to much for this hotel room the hotel right down the street was for $29.00 I paid to much.

“Upon checking in there was an employee at the counter, a woman probably middle aged who was on the phone, when I came to the counter she began yelling for her co-worker in a very aggravated, bothered voice, several times. The person who did wait on us was very friendly but being a business person myself, the conduct of the lady at the counter started our stay off on the wrong foot. She clearly did not care how we unachieved her or the hotel. People like that do not need to be in a customer contact situation.”

• Only 1 elevator was working and the first night there the ac did not work right.

“Things could be better. Remodeling was going on and there was that, but the breakfast bar was always out of a few items unless you got there at 6 am or so - which we did not - other than that and the AC unit it was OK.”
