• Great location.

“It was nice looking, lobby was great. In the bedroom they didn't even give me a blanket for the bed, and there was not one in the closet. Overall, it did the job, but I would not stay there again.”

• Clean, well kept rooms, extremely friendly staff, couldn't be happier with this hotel.

“I was extremely impressed with this hotel. It was very beautifully furnished and very very clean. The staff, from the concierge to the front desk staff to the cleaning staff was extremely friendly and courteous at all times. I can't think of anything I didn't like about our stay there. I would definitely stay there again.”

• The desk agent was very friendly.
• They put me and my colleague in a room with 2 twin beds and no blankets. just sheets.

“I wouldn't stay here again when there is plenty to choose from. Sleeping in a twin bed with a sheet and no blanket was horrible.”

• Great location and excellent staff.
• Rooms too small, no in-room coffee.

“Great location for easy access to Times Square, Central Park, the Met, and all Midtown has to offer. Very comfortable Sleep Number bed -- but room very small and no in-room coffee. But there was a Starbucks on the street level so that was helpful.”

• Free access to the internet.
• Air conditioner in first room was extremely noisy and requiring a move to the second room, where the washbasin was cracked and leaked.

“Comfortable and friendly. No bar fridge but coped well with ice and the ice bucket. Would recommend hotel to other travelers.”

“Enjoyed this hotel although they tried to put us in a very small room with one double bed(even though I had called month before to request two queens or king). My husband is 6'2" and this would not work. They finally agreed to put us in a room with one queen bed and we made that work. Great location.”

• Great linens! Comfortable bed. Courteous staff. Tremendous location.
• Perhaps a little run down.
  Just a little shabby, not dirty.

“An older hotel with a courteous staff. The bed was comfortable, the linens top quality, gorgeous curtains. WiFi in lobby, also laptop hook up available in room. Alarm clock didn't work. Room had excellent soundproofing from the outside world (construction across the way!) Lobby a little run down, room a little small, but for the price and location this hotel is a winner. Lots of European guests, gave the hotel an upscale hostel appeal. Parking available at a considerable savings over daily garage rates.”

• Hotel was clean and nicely decorated , easy to catch a cab outside, and they used light colors, whites on bed.

“This hotel is in a great location! We could walk to just about everywhere in Manhattan. A short walk to Times Square, Broadway Shows, Central Park, Rockefeller Plaza. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. We will stay here again.”

• Tried to put something in the mini fridge and was charged for moving something. No shampoo or conditioner given.

• Location, clean, cozy.
• Room was very, very small. Better choice in furnishings would improve space.

“I am please with the experience I had and did get a kind of room expected. It was very small which I expected but, the over sized furnishing left no room really to open drawers or walk from one side to the other. Better furnishing for such a small space would improve it. It was clean and comfortable and staff was friendly.”

• Construction across the street was very noisy.

“The hotel staff was great, the location was excellent, the room was large for New York. The room was clean, smelled okay, and had plenty of charm. I was mildly disappointed that there was no in-room coffee or tea service. The Hi-def TV was great, but there were less than 30 channels and no premium channels.”

• Location, close to the 4 5 6 subway line.
• It seems that they have to many rooms and not enough employees doing the job.

“When we arrive the room didn't smell good. The second night we arrive a 4 p.m. and the room was not made. We went back around midnight and the room was not made yet. We complained, they told that it was doing to be ready in 15 minutes. After 1 hour the room was ready. When we get in, the cleaning was poor: dirty glasses on the table, hairs (not from us) in the bathroom. I complained again. Around 1:30 a.m. they moved us to another room, that was bigger and better.”

“As we were joining family in the Murray Hill Section of NYC for the parade and dinner, the hotel was conveniently located in walking distance. It was clean, accommodating and provided a comfortable room (although petit) for our stay in the City.”

• Convenient, and secure location.
• The hosekeeping personnel were too impatient to clean the rooms that they will knocked on your door to start cleaning. But, everywhere you see dust.

“Very accessible to city attractions, and transportation. However, on repairs were always going-on early in the morning. Too expensive for what they offer. Not too clean; Housekeeping personnel were always waiting for you to leave, to, they can enter in the room to clean”

• The workout room had equipment.
• My room smelled, the walls were crumbling, the shower barely had water coming out at all, don't think that the shower curtain had ever been washed.

“The hotel location was fantastic, the doormen and hotel staff was great, including the check-in persons and the maid that attended the room. The wait staff for room service was very professional. The lobby was pristine, though the workout room had a wonderful view and nice equipment, the equipment needed to be wiped down and sanitized. The TV in the room was state of the art, but it would have been nice to have the room smell better than the mildew-ridden smell that it had. The shower head hadn't been cleaned in years; it had every kind of color of mold growing on it, until I sprayed the Lysol from the local store. When I did get hot water, it was at a trickle, would have been nice to have some water pressure. Perhaps this is how NYC is and I am just a novice.”
