• We stayed on the 43rd floor, so we loved the view!
• The staff kept knocking on our door to make-up the room from 10am.

• Great location. Close to Time Square/Broadway and subway/bus routes.
• Wish there were more common areas just sit and relax.

“Hotel Millennium is great for a couple. It is close to Time Square, Broadway, Bryant Park, etc. Subway for two main lines just a short distance from the hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Also the deli across the street was outstanding.”

• Location, right in the middle of everything.
• No tissues anywhere in the room, everything else was there. Couldn't find any vending area for ice etc.

“We would definitely stay there again. The room was very clean and comfortable. The room was a nice size for New York City. The bathroom was also very clean and large. The 12 noon checkout time is nice so you don't have to rush.”

“The hotel location was perfect. We asked for a room on a higher floor and we got the 48th; the view was great. Our room was clean and the staff was very accommodating. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.”

• It was clean and it address all my needs.
• I did not like that there was no free off street parking. The rooms although they were clean the smelled stale and could stand some febreeze.

• Staff was very accommodating. Upon check in I asked for a view, and they put me on the 42 floor - view was great.
• Carpets in room need to be replaced, kind a dirty/worn looking.

“Overall, this was a nice hotel that I would definately not mind returning to. It is rated 4 star, which is the same as the Marriott Marquis . . however, I personally would NOT put this hotel in the same comparison level as the Marriott Marquis. The Marquis is far above the quality of this hotel. Still, this was a really nice hotel with great staff. When I asked for a room with a view, I did not have high hopes. They did come through for me though and put me on the 42nd floor in a corner room, with a GREAT view . The room was clean, decent size for NYC (but by far smaller then marriott marquis). The rugs looked dirty, but I think they are just worn and need replacement.I stayed for 4 days and the cleaning staff was very pleasant. They seemeed to be available any time I walked out of my room. That was nice, as I was not living on a normal schedule . so having my room cleaned at 2 PM, rather than 9 AM worked great. The only bad part of this hotel is location. Yes, it is in time square . . but the enterences to the hotel on 44th and 45th are offset from the street that made getting a cab after 9 PM a little difficult at times. Also, it became confusing because the hotel lists the enterance on 44th street as the main one, but it is closed after 11 PM so you have to go down to 45th. Overall I would rate this more as a 3 star hotel, comparible to the Crowne Plaza (although I actually like the Cronwe Plaza better).”

• The room was wonderful and staff at front desk was friendly and humorous!
• The bed pillows were quite hard and uncomfortable.

“The location was perfect. We were in the heart of Time Square and were able to go back and forth to our room whenever we needed a break. Access to the elevators was easy because you could enter the hotel from either 44th or 45th street.”

• The electronically refrigerator which charges to the room directly.

“Excellent location, half block away from Times Square. Comfortable and good quality rooms and furniture, even with two sofa chairs. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I would love to come back to this hotel.”

• Not a 4 star. Rooms clean but average. TV was small, old.

• I liked the convenient location.
• Although I was on a non-smoking floor, my room constantly smelled like fresh smoke.

“I had stayed at this hotel in December. I really liked the location, but my one complaint then was the late check-in time (4pm). When I realized I was booked into this hotel again, I called and requested an earlier check-in if possible. The person on the other end mentioned my request could not be guaranteed, but they would make note of it. I was pleased that my room was ready upon my arrival. The bathroom smelled kind of moldy and the water in the shower drained very slowly. Although I was on a non-smoking floor, the smell of cigarette smoke came through the vents. I mentioned this to the front desk. After staying at another 4-star hotel in January, I would rate this particular hotel 3-stars in comparison.”

• I did not feel it provided a good value for the price I paid.

“This is a decent hotel with an excellent location literally one-half-block from Times Square. It does not provide a good value for the money. It lacks some basic amenities such as a pool or airport shuttle, and is not a good place to stay if you have more than 2 people. They only have rooms with single king beds or double twin beds. No double queen bed rooms, which was very disappointing. Staff was generally friendly and helpful. They provided an in-room refrigerator free of charge. Outside of the lobby, the hotel's interior feels old, worn, and in need of a renovation. It was perfectly comfortable for my needs, however. This is clearly a 3* quality hotel, not 4* as advertised.”

• The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful.
• The quilts on the bed are slippery and slide off all night long so you end up only having the sheet covering.

“This hotel is situated in the perfect location for easy access to many of the New York sites, one block from Times Sq. easy subway to north south locales. My family of two adults and two teens had ample room. The front desk made it clear, however that the two double bed configuration was not typical in that hotel. I would warn those who travel with children to be clear about the bed configuration you need.”

“We were extremely pleased with the location, room and staff. They were prepared for our arrival and very accommodating to our needs. I especially enjoyed the fitness center and the fact that it was open 24/7. I would most definitely recommend it to others.”

“It was bigger rooms than I expected. Nice clean rooms. Beds were very comfortable. We asked for a refrigerator and they came up with one within 10 minutes. Location is great right at times square. I'm very satisfied with my stay there.”

• The remote control in the room did not work and it was disgusting and dirty.

“We had a wonderful vacation at the Millennium Broadway. The location is so central and fit our needs perfectly. The rooms were spacious and clean. Our only negative experience was that the remote control in the room did not work and it was disgusting and dirty. I can't believe such a nice room would have such a dirty and broken remote. It is such a small investment. We also couldn't order movies or shut the TV off (had to do it manually). We would have ordered a movie had the remote worked. The repairman was great and tried to fix it, but he could not easily change the remote box and we were going out that day anyway. Despite the remote issue we had a wonderful vacation and would stay at this hotel again in the future - especially given the great deal we received.”

“Great location. When we checked in the bellman asked how many the room would be for and I showed him us 4. My husband son (13) and daughter (7). He gave us a room with 2 twin beds. My kids don't sleep on those at home. When I called down to the front desk, they told me that my room didn't accommodate a roll away.”

• Our heating systems was not working probably and we had not blanket on the bed. They did fix the bed, but not the heating system. Very hot.

• The heat in the room was always too hot or too cold. No happy medium. Hard beds.

• The Millennium has a perfect location and the employees were very helpful.
• The room we were given was small and in dire need of an upgrade.

“The location and the employees of the hotel were great, unfortunately the room provided does not meet the standards of any 4 star standard. The room was extremely small, the carpet was worn and torn, the nightstand next to the bed was in such disrepair that it almost fell over when opened, and the TV was not in good working order. The rest of the hotel looked clean and neat and the elevators were fast and working well. The room we stayed in would appear to be something I would find in a 1 star, I've had better rooms at a econoline.”

“Beautiful hotel. We had a room with a nice view but unfortunately within earshot of concrete street drilling that began at 6am daily. Worked with the hotel staff to relocate twice, which exemplifies how accommodating they were. Overall, rooms are lovely, the higher floors being nicer. No in-room fridge can be inhibitive. Beautiful appointed rooms and common areas otherwise.”

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The lobby; which is nice for a 4 star hotel, give the feeling that the hotel of its class. However; as your stay commences you find that rooms are small, cleanliness none existent, and a bed that you would have come to expect from a motel 6.”

“Clean and comfortable, not particularly extra special that I expected for the stated star rating. We were really there to experience theaters, etc so it was fine to sleep here. No wool blanket on the bed and when requested, we got some sort of artificial blanket that was like rubber.”

• The view from my room.
• Simple request over 3 day period was not met.

“While the room had a great view of the city and partial of Times Square it was NOT a 4 star in my opinion. One of the night tables was an old minibar fridge. They left the fridge open but still in the compartment. It was molded and smelled bad. I had requested feather pillows every day since check in and was told the same thing over and over, they had none. This, again I am stating, is NOT a 4 star hotel. They are banking on the fact that they can book the rooms because they are so centrally located and thus I feel they do not do anything extra to set themselves apart. I will not stay there again and I will not recommend the hotel to anyone.”

• The colors where very calming and the location was the best in the city.
• The lobby staff was not as overly friendly as several the hotels I've stayed in New York.

“The hotels was very clean and the high tech designed was unmatched. However the room had several scuff marks on walls and on base of bed. I also think that they should upgrade to flat screen televisions and have some type of light late after midnight room service.”

“I would recommend this hotel for its location and good service. The room I stayed in was not deluxe, but was functional and clean. I am not a frequent traveler of supposed 4-star hotels so I dont really have much to compare it to.”
