“Our experience at the millennium hotel was very positive. From the doorman to the housekeeping staff, we found everyone to be very pleasant and helpful.” Sep 21, 2007 by
Toni from Winnetka, CA
“Plan to stay here again next year.” Sep 20, 2007 by
Steve from Savannah, GA
“Convenient, clean, and good value.” Sep 20, 2007 by
Pete from Smithfield, VA
“This hotel is in a great location and if just spending a night or 2 on business it is perfect. But if your looking to relax for a getaway with family or just the wife it is not relaxing or comfortable. Rooms are tiny beds are hard bathrooms tight and views are not that good. Would not stay at again.” Sep 20, 2007 by
Karen M. from Tamarac, FL
“Fantastic location. The millennium Broadway had a trendy, sleek lobby and the staff was friendly and courteous upon check-in. The room itself was decorated nicely, Asian theme, but had definitely seen better days. Carpet worn and dirty. Bathroom was spacious but counter was severely worn down. No Kleenex in room. But this is no 4star hotel unless other rooms have been renovated.” Sep 20, 2007 by
Richard R. from Middleboro, MA
“This hotel was just perfect for us. We went to New York for theatre and the location was just perfect. The rooms were perfectly designed and the bed was so comfortable. We would absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.” Sep 20, 2007 by
Gene from Waterloo, IA
“It was fine for what we wanted.” Sep 20, 2007 by
Sarah from Chicago, IL
“Manhattan hotel rooms are almost always tiny and the Millennium was no exception. The location is also very convenient. My issue with this hotel was the public spaces and the general cleanliness of certain items in my room. I was traveling for business and would have been embarrassed had a colleague seen the filthy lobby or hallways of this four star hotel. While the room appeared to be clean, my bedspread had several visible stains on it.” Sep 20, 2007 by
Kerry from Weston, FL
“Excellent location. Clean. Roomy enough. Hot shower, but not the best pressure.” Sep 19, 2007 by
Linda from Exeter, RI
“I felt the hotel was very convenient location wise for someone who was going to a Broadway play like we were and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked for help.” Sep 19, 2007 by
Kathie from Millboro, VA
“Great location, nice rooms and near subway.” Sep 19, 2007 by
Never S. from Burtonsville, MD
“I am a very clean person. I was appalled that the top sheet was stained and it took 2 hours and several phone calls to get a new one. That alone killed it for me!” Sep 19, 2007 by
Sharmaine from Kokomo, IN
“This hotel was everything we had hoped for. The room was clean, staff was friendly and it was right in the midst of everything.” Sep 19, 2007 by
James from Cheshire, CT
“For the most part I only have great things to say about the hotel. The service, location and room service were excellent. The negative was the two double beds were quite small and not very comfortable and the blankets were not as high quality as everything else in the hotel.” Sep 19, 2007 by
Mitch from Merritt Island, FL
“This hotel was excellent. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. They went out of their way to insure we had a great stay. Our room was a corner room on the 37th floor and it was great to look out and see the hustle of NYC. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!” Sep 19, 2007 by
Donna from Miramichi, NB CA
“Great location, large rooms but tried for three days to get connected to the internet and spent about 2 hours on the phone with technical support, finally gave up.” Sep 19, 2007 by
Nancy from Salem, MA
“Before arrival, I called to make sure we would be put into a room with 2 double beds as I was traveling with my husband and two teen-age daughters. I was told that I had a "standard" reservation and that my choices were 2 twin-sized beds of 1 king-sized bed. I decided to go with the king-sized bed, whereupon I was told that I would have to pay an additional $35 for a roll-away cot. I called back a few days later and spoke with a reservations clerk who upgraded us to a "superior" room for no extra charge and he said he would remove the $35 roll-away fee. Upon check-in (which took almost 10 minutes with lots of whispering behind the desk), I reiterated my request for 2 double beds and was assured that's what we were getting. However, when we got up to our room, there was only 1 king-sized bed -- and no roll-away! Our bellhop called downstairs for us and we were told that we would have to go into a "smoking" room. No way!! More waiting around and we were finally put into a room with 2 double beds. We started to settle in. And then my daughter went to use the bathroom and came out saying there was a big puddle on the floor -- the toilet leaked! I went back downstairs to the front desk and asked for a manager. We were not in New York for a "la-di-dah" theater weekend. We were there for a medical appointment for one of my daughters, which was upsetting enough without being treated as if we had done something wrong. In the end, we did get a decent room, but the aggravation was exhausting. I'm sorry, that's just how I feel. You asked.” Sep 17, 2007 by
Jeff from Ft. Lauderdale, FL
“The hotel is in a great central location. The rooms are very standard and non-descript. Service was efficient and friendly. This hotel was not a 4 star hotel as represented.” Sep 15, 2007 by
Pata from New York, NY
“Well if you want to be smack dab in the middle of times square, this is the place to be. Its close to everything. Rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. If you are a premier guest, the happy hour is fun but I think ham and cheese finger sandwiches as an appetizer are a major penny pinching cop out. Shower was disappointing, poor pressure. Other than that, I mean, its a really nice hotel.” Sep 13, 2007 by
Amy from Alexandria, VA
“Great location and staff! The room itself was clean but it could have been any generic room. There were visible holes in the wall where pictures used to hang. I would stay there again for the price. It really is a wonderful location near everything and the staff was helpful and professional!” Sep 13, 2007 by
Ron from Geneva, FL
“Overall this is a nice hotel. I would say it is not quite a four star but is better than a three star. They need to improve the comfort of the beds and the bed linens (you expect a designer bed at four star hotel in today's market). The sink was marble and nice but the shower was pretty basic and a bit cramped. They could use some big fluffy towels and a fancy shower head. On the positive side, the lobby and decor of the room was of high quality. I would not say this is of the same level as the Westin times square even though they are both listed as four star hotels.” Sep 13, 2007 by
Mary from Granite Bay, CA
“Nice hotel great location only bad thing was the carpet in the room was grossly dirty.” Sep 13, 2007 by
Jean from Deux Montagne, QC CA
“Good location helpful staff.” Sep 13, 2007 by
Tom from Tinton Falls, NJ
“Wife and I stayed here for three days for the US open tennis tournament. This is not a 4 star hotel. As a matter of fact, this would be on the lower end of the 3 star hotels in NYC that I have stayed at. I also was upgraded, so it was not one of the bad rooms. Negatives: dated furniture, fan broken in bathroom, table lamp broken, shower so slippery both my wife and I almost killed ourselves (it took numerous calls to get a tub mat), no mirror with outlet outside of the bathroom (wife had to blow hair and put on makeup in the steamy bathroom), water-flow restrictors on the shower (in a 4 star hotel, you expect a good shower, not to have to stand under the water for 10 minutes to rinse the soap off), single ply toilet paper, only 2 bath towels (it took numerous calls to get more and my sticker notes were ignored). It seemed that this hotel was on an austerity budget. Positives: location (steps to times square), room size, check in staff, efficient concierge.” Sep 13, 2007 by
Hayden from Shelton, CT
“Pleasantly surprised with this area of the city for walking distance to Broadway, etc.” Sep 13, 2007 by
Rob from Midland, MI
“All in all a good time.” Sep 12, 2007 by
Andrea from Boca Raton, FL
“The place is a dirty and disgusting dump! The place doesnt come close to being a 2 star hotel. For example I have never been in a 4 star hotel that uses the bed spread as a blanket, disgusting. The lobby is dirty, even the desk clerk was dressed in dirty clothes. The place is a dump.” Sep 12, 2007 by
Lisa from Wilmington, DE
“The rooms were spacious enough for NYC, the water pressure more than adequate and the staff responsive, polite and friendly. Location right in the heart of times square was great for what we wanted.” Sep 12, 2007 by
Phyllis from Weston, MA
“Millennium is an upscale hotel with friendly, professional staff. Conveniently located for shopping, theatre and general walks about.” Sep 12, 2007 by
Rachel from Oak Park, IL
“Great location for theater, restaurants, Time Square, etc. Room was larger than others we've had in NYC. Very clean, nice amenities, generally very nice staff and service. Some glitches with the room (TV, etc.) couldn't be fixed during our 2-night stay. Annoying but forgivable.” Sep 11, 2007 by
Wendy from Westerville, OH
“Good, clean, comfortable.” Sep 10, 2007 by
Meghan from Denver, CO
“I believe this hotel was highly overrated at the 4 star levels. The only nice thing about it was the gym. The room I had smelled horrible, the carpets were gross, and the bathrooms were not clean.” Sep 9, 2007 by
Sharon from Annville, PA
“The Broadway millennium did not meet my expectations for a four star hotel in NYC. The room was small, noisy and dirty. Someone left a window open and mosquitoes were in the room and I was bitten. There was a lot of dust behind each night stand and the carpets were both very clean. The last night, there were not adequate linens and the housekeeping staff never emptied/cleaned the ice bucket during out 3 night stay.” Sep 9, 2007 by
Janet from San Francisco, AR
“Great location next to times square. Friendly staff, very helpful. Lobby is bare and cold not welcoming. Rooms were adequate, not particularly pleasant. View was romantic--lights of the city all around.” Sep 9, 2007 by
Julie from Aventura, FL
“Like I should be embarrassed that I got the room for 1/2 off. Other than that, the location was amazing. The room was modern, comfortable, quiet and clean. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.” Sep 9, 2007 by
Rachel from San Luis Obispo, CA
“Located in the heart of midtown, it is a great place to stay as a tourist, handy to all locations in a wonderfully safe walking neighborhood. I lived in new York for over 20 years, but as a visitor I enjoyed taking advantage of this hotel and all the amenities.” Sep 8, 2007 by
Marianne from Havertown, PA
“Great location needs some updating/renovation. Staff is helpful and friendly. I would stay there again.” Sep 8, 2007 by
Rose from Shelby, MI
“The lobby was nice. It is a small hotel, but perfectly located in time square. Easy in and out. The room was dark and my bedside light did not work. I still would stay there again.” Sep 7, 2007 by
Diane from Vancouver, VT
“Clean, great location. Housekeeping was knocking on doors way to early in the morning - requested do not disturb signs but did not get. Overall good experience.” Sep 7, 2007 by
Laddie from Orlando, FL
“Nice hotel in a great location for the "Times Square" thing. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying there to friends and family.” Sep 5, 2007 by
Mg from Berkeley, CA
“While the location of the millennium Broadway is great, the cleanliness of our room left much to be desired- there were pubic hairs on the floor and on the side of the bathtub, and hair in the soap caddy in the shower. There was also a small bloodspot on one of the throw pillows on the bed. The side table in the room looked as if it hadn't been dusted in months, and the room smelled like smoke, despite being a non-smoking room. On the other hand, the bed was super comfortable. That, the manager (who attempted to resolve our issues), and the location were the only redeeming qualities. I would not stay here again unless I received a heavily discounted rate.” Sep 5, 2007 by
Greg R. from Oklahoma City, OK
“Loved the location. We were upgraded, so the size of the room was great. Staff was helpful. They could have used more help at their front desk--it took a while to check in (only 1 person working).” Sep 5, 2007 by
Monty from Edmond, OK
“Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We only came to the room to sleep. Location was great, right on time square and Broadway shows. Staff was great. The only complaint was that I expected the rooms to be more updated and cleaner than they appeared.” Sep 4, 2007 by
Pat from Springfield, IL
“Friendly staff, clean and great location.” Sep 4, 2007 by
Paul from Oakland Park, FL
“I've stayed at the Millennium Broadway several times over the past 6 years, and it's time for an update. The furniture is scarred, the box spring kept slipping off the edge of the bed frame, and the chair at the desk is a hard wooden chair not at all conducive to sitting and working at the computer. The extra blanket in the closet was moth-eaten and none of the lights in the room had enough wattage for comfortable reading environment except the desk lamp. Disappointing four star experience” Sep 4, 2007 by
Lynn from Ontario, CA
“Very nice. Staff very pleasant. Great rate for Manhattan, right at times square would stay again most definitely.” Sep 3, 2007 by
Liz from Westmoreland, NH
“Location and spacious rooms make this hotel a 'best bet' for theater goers or anybody wanting comfortable lodging in times square.” Sep 3, 2007 by
Gretchen from Idaho Falls, ID
“Great location. Average amenities.” Sep 3, 2007 by
Jonathan from Scottsdale, AZ
“We loved the euro twin beds. The staff was friendly and helpful. Efficient front desk staff, great concierge, great bell hop (bob), unfriendly door man. A very pleasant "theatre trip".” Sep 2, 2007 by
Michael. from Guilford, CT
“The room was adequate for new York city. The staff lied at check in about whether a room with a king bed was available. Upon check out we waited 30 minutes to check our bags. Then another 30 to pick them up. We asked the concierge for a restaurant recommendation and he directed us to a complete dump.” Hotel Representatives:
