• Nice, perfectly located in the heart of Times Square - we changed to this hotel from Le Parker Meridian.
• The bed was a bit hard, but we will definitely still stay here on our next trip.

• It was very close to the theater district, good restaurants, and attractive from the outside.
• The staff at this hotel was indifferent and rude.

“I spent Christmas at this hotel in NYC with my family. No one helped us with our bags or the door when we arrived at the hotel. The bellhop stood there watching us. He even made us hail our own taxi that evening. Our room was only cleaned once in a 3 night stay. They checked us out of the hotel at 7 am when my mother tried to pay for room service. During the day, they took all of our luggage from the room. In addition, although they told us that they had checked us out of the room our computerized card keys still worked when we returned. The concierge forgot to make our Christmas dinner reservations and put us on hold for 25 minutes.”

• Location was great. Times Square is a pot of entertainment.
• Ice machines did not work properly.

“The price was right. The hotel is pretty good. Rooms are decent. But the amenities were not available. When you try calling room service for some, you get a message that they're on some kind of break until later.”

• This hotel is in a great location for Broadway shows and restaurants and enough off the main congested area.
• No pool

“This hotel is only ten blocks from Penn Station, so an easy and inexpensive cab ride. The beds are extremely hard but otherwise the room is comfortable, service good, and quiet.”

• The bathroom had a good deal of mold in it.

“The bathroom had mold in it. I sleep on an extra firm mattress at home, the mattress in my room was like sleeping on the floor. The hardest mattress I've ever slept on. The lobby was beautiful.”

• Staff was always extremely helpful and friendly.
• Bathroom baseboards were very dusty. Not enough room for 2 people to pass each other between the beds and dresser.

“Wonderful location! Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful. Only room for one person between the beds and dresser, so you had to keep moving to let the other person through. Became annoying. Bathroom baseboards were very dusty and one day the housekeeping staff did not leave another roll of toilet paper, but when we called down, they immediately sent up 2 rolls and a box of tissues. No ice machine on our floor. Our safe was locked when we checked in and the locksmith had left for the day. The next day, the safe had to be replaced. It sounds like a lot of complaints, but we really enjoyed it and would stay there again.”

• The lobby was beautiful. Bathroom was spacious. Convenient location.
• Can constantly hear elevator in rooms close to it. No coffee pot in rooms. $8 coffee.

“The room was very clean. They didn't have any King beds available, but with 2 double beds, we had more than enough room for our luggage. Ask for a room away from the elevator because if not, you'll hear the elevator go up and down constantly. My biggest complaint is that there was no coffee pot in the room. You are forced to order $8 coffee from room service. I have never been in a hotel room without a coffee pot. My husband & I have to have our coffee as soon as we wake up.”

• The location was very good.
• The view was just OK.

“The location was good but the lobby was very dark and uninviting, the common areas were nothing special but the rooms were a good size by NYC standards but the bathrooms were somewhat dated. It was a good place to stay if you are not planning to be in your room often and looking for a central location in Time Square. The staff was friendly and check-in was quick.”

• Concierge was fantastic! Location was amazing! Clean.
• Beds were hard. Front desk folks not the friendliest.

“Enjoyed my stay at the hotel, despite the hard beds. The location of the hotel was right by Times Square which was perfect for shows, restaurants and getting on the Subway. The Concierges were phenomenally helpful. They had great recommendations and directions. The front desk staff was usually not the friendliest, and we always had a short line when we needed their service.”

• Beds were uncomfortable for 3 1/2 star hotel.

“The hotel was very reasonable for the price obtained on Priceline. If I had paid the full price through reservations I would have been very disappointed. While the staff was very helpful, the room was plain and beds were not up to par with other recent hotels I have stayed in.”

• Large bathroom, comfortable bed, location excellent.
• Pillow shams were soiled. No extra blanket or pillow in closet.

“This hotel was located conveniently between 44th and 45th streets (with door opening onto both streets) less than 1 block from Times square. The elevators were very quick and the staff very friendly. The bellmen and the Registration staff were quick with a smile and a friendly comment. Our room was a good size and well appointed as was the bathroom. I was disappointed to find that the bed covering and the Pillow sham covers had not been cleaned between guests. Many hotels are now using duvets with removable cotton covers that are easily changed when the sheets are changed. As usual, even though we hung up our towels to use them again, the towels were exchanged for clean ones. It is evident that they are not a very "green" hotel in that the shower and toilets are not low flow. Wi-Fi is $13 us per 24 hrs. All in all, a comfortable hotel and I would stay there again, and recommend it to my friends.”

• Large column in the lobby blocked the front desk. Wasn't sure where to stand to be seen by the clerk.

• Good location. Friendly staff.
• The room was dirty.

“The room had not been cleaned since the last guest. There were half used shampoo/conditioner bottles in the shower as well as a used soap. There was also hair on the floor of the bathroom, an unused spoon on the nightstand and opened take-out plastic-wear on the side table. One of the pillow cases had even been stepped on with his shoe. Management was appalled by this! She then offered to pay for my parking at the hotel.”

“EXCELLENT Hotel right off of times square. I travel to NYC 12-15 times a year. This hotel is in a 4* class.. and it is toward the top. Fantastic rooms, fantastic location, great exercise facility. Starbucks is 10 steps away from the building. Don't think twice about this beauty.”
