“If you like the convenience of a downtown location with historic architecture, then this is the place for you. The hotel was completed in the early 20th century and it looks as if some of the rooms have not been painted since. However, the Dome bar with its Tiffany-styled dome is quite grand and is a good place to get a drink. I recommend the hotel if you want to be close to the border and El Paso's downtown attractions, but if you plan on spending anytime in one of the rooms, you'll be dismayed by the many patch jobs on the paint, cracked tile and mildew in the bathroom, etc.” Nov 1, 2006 by

“This is a lovely historic hotel. The shopping is blocks away walking distance. The Buffet is excellent, breakfast, brunch, and dinner, all worth the price... The rooms are clean and very nice. I wish they had an indoor pool, but during hot weather day, it is very nice. Pool is located on the tenth floor outdoors, secluded, but nice. I have stayed here many times, and will continue to stay here on my future visits to El Paso.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
