  • Convenient free parking.
  • Indifferent staff; business center use is overpriced (.99 per page to print), and the printer did not function properly, and produced illegible prints.

“Nice facilities (except unmanned, overpriced business center). Small bathroom, good water pressure. Wait staff at buffet-style breakfast tend to hang back together in a corner, and it is difficult to get beverage service.”

  • Small bathroom. Air conditioning didn't work well - room too hot.

“The hotel was beautiful, easy to access from I495, and close to restaurants and the Tyson's mall. I was able to ride the shuttle to the mall, and it was right on time each way, and the driver was very nice. I very much enjoyed this hotel, and would stay in the future with my family.”

  • The glass elevators and the pillows & sheets.
  • Bathroom in need of repair, soft mattress & parking issues.

“The hotel lobby and common area was very impressive. The room was nicely furnished, was clean and looked good. The mattress was too soft and caused both my wife and I to wake up with sore backs both days that we stayed there. The bathroom was in need of repair. The sink "facia" was falling off. The towel rack in the shower was falling down. Some of the wallpaper was starting to peel. The hinges on the door were rusty. The shower had excellent pressure. The glass elevators were a lot of fun. The hotel was nice.”

“This hotel is gorgeous but has little to offer beyond its appearance. This hotel nickels and dimes you to death. A little extra for this and that (example: Internet $12/day). We were told on the phone we would receive a room with a sleeper coach but upon arrival they didn't have any. They offered to bring in a rollaway at check in but I had to call twice.”

  • Parking for this hotel for accessibility with bags is tricky.

  • The manager was very rude & so was the staff but especially the manager!

  • Very nice rooms, neat, very helpful staff, accommodated a late check without disturbance or rush!
  • Elevator's rings are a bit loud and can be heard in the rooms. There should be access to a common snack location for late hours.

“Very nice accommodations with neat, clean, well stocked rooms. For some reason we did not have access to the refrigerator. Extremely helpful staff. I especially like and was impressed by the allowing late checkout without nagging or disturbance allowing us to comfortably take our time out. Good experience, I would recommend it!”

  • Bell hops were attentive, friendly, and helpful.
  • Check in was a bit laborious and time consuming.

“Excellent location for a trip to our nation's capital. Metro was a short drive away and unlike other metropolitan hotels, the Hilton had plenty of free parking. The proximity to the upscale shopping malls and their fine eateries was the prime reason for selecting the Tysons corners locale, and the Hilton met our expectations.”

For instance, the room did not have a flat screen TV. I was given a room on the second floor, so there was no view. Parking was free.”

“Quite a disappointment for a hotel that is supposed to be three stars. Had to constantly ask for more coffee pods, never received more than two creamers/sweeteners. Left written messages for housekeepers to provide more coffee, but they were all ignored (or not understood due to language barrier). In general, poor housekeeping and outrageously high daily Internet fees. Would definitely prefer to stay at the Marriott.”

“This was a clean hotel. The room had recently been remodeled except for the bath surround and fixtures. I found the public areas very clean and well maintained. I was disappointed, however, at the level of noise in the room due to the fact that the room's door faces the large atrium. The ambient sounds from the bar, lobby, elevators, and night club have no troubles penetrating the door and my dreams. My wife slept fine, but I'd recommend getting a room off of the atrium when you check in.”

“This hotel met all of my needs while I was in the DC area. I arrived at noon on Saturday and even though my room was not available yet (check in was at 3:00), the hotel staff was very helpful and placed my laptop in a secure area, so I wouldn't have to leave it in my car while sightseeing. The only complaint I have is that there was a $13/day fee to get wireless internet access in my room (disclosed upfront, but still seemed a bit silly). While I was traveling for leisure, I would think this would be a negative for business travelers.”

  • We like the staff in the lounge. The hotel is clean and the renovations are lovely.

“When we checked in late and asked for a king size bed, the front desk person told us that our reservation was for a queen. I requested a king if there was one (this has never been a problem in the past). He quickly said there were none available. I was fine with it. We always spend additional money on room service etc. Again, this was this particular person. It was late at night, and there was no valid reason for his behavior as far as we could see. Also, the Hilton is the only hotel in the area that does not have underground parking and in inclement weather it is an issue. Previously, their excellent service made up for this. With the Marriott at Tysons corner on Rte #7 as the model for them all to live up to.”

  • Impeccable service - the staff went out of there way to assist us and provide helpful information and assistance when asked.
  • Dining room meals were a bit expensive, so we opted to dine out.

  • Expensive, but lackluster breakfast buffet. Terrible wireless internet.

“Beautiful, nicely maintained older property in a business park near Tyson's Corner Mall. A great location if you are visiting the business park, but really a terrible location (traffic/distance) if you are visiting DC/Northern Virginia. Terrible wireless internet service (staff reports the problems have been ongoing for years), service in the Hallway/Lobby area was decent, but connections in two different rooms disconnected every 1-5 minutes ($13.00 charge per day). The dining room was usually empty for good reason! Unless you don't have the time or transportation there are just two many restaurants within 1 mile that offer far superior food service in the same or lower price range.”

  • The location was convenient for where I had a meeting, but otherwise it was remote.

  • Pleasant, quiet, convenient to celebration I was attending in Tyson's Corner Galleria, and easy access off 495 Beltway.
