• Holiday Inn's kid's eat free promotional was fantastic!
• Everything met our expectations. Friendly staff, nice indoor pool, and
  quiet rooms.

“Located in the Northern Columbus suburb of Worthington, the Holiday Inn is close to dining, shopping, and boasts quick access to the 270 Interstate loop for convenience to all of Columbus. We enjoyed a clean room, a quiet and comfortable night, and lots of fun with the kids and the pool. Even the dining staff was friendly and considerate of our young children. Great experience!”

• Plenty of parking, room was
  clean and
  comfy chair.
• Not enough elevators, bathroom small & no vent.

“The room was big & clean. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of pillows. Over all I liked the room but the elevators were at the opposite end of the (long) hall. The bathroom was a bit small but always had hot water. Great location.”

• Helpful staff.
• Dining/bar no service, very expensive, poor quality.

“Perfect place to stay, but don't expect food. No breakfast, except overpriced dried up danish. No cook or servers in restaurant/bar. Nothing in walking distance. But clean room, nice layout, great desk staff.”

• The room was spacious, clean; the bed was comfortable and loved room decor.
• Bathroom was just basic for the style of room.

• Clean, comfortable beds in an upscale area.
• Busy pattern on stairs carpet, it made me a bit dizzy!

“We were very pleased with this hotel. It was in a good area (we felt safe) and it was very clean and had a comfortable bed. The desk staff was friendly and helped us with driving directions. I will stay here again when in the Columbus area.”

• Accommodated request for king size bed.
• Exercise room was closed.

“The Holiday Inn-Worthington is in a great location, very convenient to 270. The front desk staff was friendly and courteous. The pool area looked very nice, although we did not use it. The exercise room looked like it had good equipment, but it was under some type of work and was not available for our use. The rooms were nice sized and it was very quiet all night.”

• Toiletry (shampoo, body wash, etc) not appearing.

“The cleaning crews took away our laundry, shoes, cell-phone, toiletry thinking that we have checked out. We get our cell-phone and laundry, and shoes back. But toiletry was lost. We requested the front desk to check and put the items with the front desk couple of times. But each time we have explained the situation all-over again. There is no communication or note left to explain to other persons in the shift. I'm disappointed.”

• Only one elevator and location was inconvenient to room - had to carry luggage up multiple flights of stairs.

“Hotel was conveniently located. Room was large, clean and nicely decorated. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. Hotel seemed to be an older hotel as far as layout and amenities, but has been nicely updated.”

• Didn't receive wake-up call as requested.

“This hotel was easy to find, located to restaurants, shopping. There was only 1 person at the desk and it took a very long time to check in. She didn't have my information (name, address, etc) so I had to provide all of that again. I requested a wake up call and was assured that it would occur. It didn't and I missed an appointment.”

“After driving all day to get there we went to our room and I noticed the foul odor of cig. smoke and tried to ignore it, next morn. I realized they dumped us into a smoking room saying they had a full house. They switched us the next day and everything was ok.”

• Teen conference were going on and they took over the pool.

“This was a very nice hotel for the price. I was traveling with my husband and 2 kids and we were very comfortable. Everything is new - bedding, lighting, carpet, etc. It was also only one exit from the Columbus Zoo which made it very convenient. It's near the interstate and in a nice part of town. Will definitely stay here if we're in the area again.”

• Curtain would not close. You could see through the sheers. Staff had to put a sheet over window.

• Did not care for other guests smoking in the hotel and the initial placement of our room.

• The location was convenient and room was clean.
• Very small bathroom. An old style hotel that has been renovated, but still is an old hotel.

“The hotel was clean and in a very convenient location. We didn't have any problems with noise. It has recently been remodeled with updated carpet, wall paper, furniture, bedding etc. But like my husband said it's still an old hotel. The bathroom was very small. The shower was excellent, great water pressure. I felt my stay was average but definitely not exceptional.”

• Great location, met all of our needs while traveling.
• Wished there was an outlet closer to a mirror outside of the bathroom.

“The hotel was able to accommodate our 24 - foot car trailer in their parking lot, that was very safe and secure. The hotel is in a very nice area of Worthington and is close to the highway entrance (could never hear the highway noise) with a grocery store, restaurants and other shops very close by. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Will definitely stay at this hotel again when we are in the area!”

• The ice machines did not work consistently.

“The hotel was very nice and it was in a good location. It was close to a couple of highways and there was a grocery store right there. The beds were extremely comfortable and the air conditioner worked well.”

• The blankets were comfortable and close to the zoo.
• The door stuck open because of wood moisture so you must slam it or it doesn't close. The rooms where all one floor in motels.

“Overall the hotel was nice, but lacking in what others offer. We stayed at a Holiday Inn Express on the way to Ohio and it was much nicer than this Holiday Inn. It was a newer Express with a huge bathroom, microwave, nice refrigerator, etc. I thought the Holiday Inn would have much of the same stuff, but it did not.”

• Being recently remodeled the room furnishings were in good condition.
• I think the A/C filter needed changing.

“This was the 4th time I've stayed at this hotel. I liked the A/C controlled by wall thermostat and the shower was good. There were 4 pillows per bed, but they were too thick for my liking.”
