“This property was formerly a Ramada, and has been updated to be more in-line with Holiday Inn's Standards. While the amenities and general cleanliness of the property are up to a typical hi, several characteristics of the former Ramada are still very visible.”

• I liked the layout and the different options of exits. The art was not outdated and everyone I spoke with behind the counter was very nice.
• The staff in the restaurant was cold and it took about 10 minutes for a great. We left and went to another restaurant for dinner.

“The room we stayed in was fine for 1 night. The room was clean, and seemed updated. I don't think I could stay there for a week with children and another adult. We like to stay in larger rooms with a small kitchen and the coffee maker out of the bathroom. (I'm not sure if it is an option in this hotel) But it was great for what we needed it for. The pool is where the kids stayed after the zoo and after dinner. In all we truly enjoyed the trip. The younger ones wanted a hot tub.”

• Close to the area I needed. Very easy to find.
• Electric blanket was not warm enough, no other blankets available in either room.

“Need a bigger sign to show which drive way to go in. Very difficult to find the room. The maids did not even know where the elevator was. Lack of blankets in the room.”

“The hotel room was attractive and clean, the beds were comfortable. We stayed in Worthington for a local wedding and the hotel was quite centrally located. I wasn't clear on their breakfast policy and was disappointed to find that we had to pay for it - we would've gone somewhere else if we'd known before beginning to eat as it was not exactly elevated buffet fare; however if we'd been pressed for time it would've been a convenient option. I would definitely stay there again if I visited Worthington.”

• The Colonial design was nice.
• My room could have been swiped better.

“For a Holiday Inn I was surprised. Many of them are not up to three stars. My toilet was not working and they did not hesitate to move me quickly. Could not get a King bed but they said they were very full.”

• It was decently clean.
• Someone threw ice at our door.

“We did not get any rest. Besides the noise. Our toilet kept flushing automatically all night. Our room was next to an employee lounge which again kept us awake. We could hear the employees talking in the lounge all night. Awful experience! Very disappointing!”

• The swimming pool was nice as well as of nice size.
• The mattress was too hard and firm.

• Front desk overwhelmed.

“Placed in a room with a stopped up toilet. Maintenance had not communicated with front desk staff on the availability. Front desk staff seemed confused in dealing with a reservation. Left me with the impression I was being charged a second time--cleared up by the day front desk staff. Nice room and lobby but not on par with other nearby 3 star properties.”

• The room was very clean. Free cable and Wi-Fi.
• Nothing to complain about.

“The hotel was very convenient to the highway. The room was clean, neat and very comfortable. The exercise room was adequate and it had a nice pool and sauna. Everything looks pretty newly remodeled. Free cable and Wi-Fi made it a great deal. Close to many restaurants.”

• Location from highway. Bar/restaurant on premises.
• The beds were hard and lacking warm covers. It was 10 outside and we could not stay warm. This should not be considered 3 stars.

“Everything was just ok. The restaurant closed early, most items on the menu were not available, and the people behind the bar needed coaxing to serve you. The rooms were clean, but the beds were hard and lacking a comforter. The shower pressure was good, but the drain was backing up. My guess is that is was 3 stars due to the conference rooms and the restaurant.”

“It was newly remodeled, but they didn't replace any doors, they just refinished them and made them look cheap. It also had a slight smell in the hallways, not bad but curious.”

• The staff was excellent and friendly. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.
• The pool. Was closed. That was one of the reasons we took this hotel. There was no comfortable chair to sit in if you wanted to read. No fan in bat.

“We had two queen size beds instead of pull out couches. The beds were very comfortable. The room was neat and cleans except for the bathroom. There was no fan and water dripped from the ceiling. We did not get to use the pool as it was being maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wish there was a comfortable recliner in the bedroom. We will return.”

• They had good crisp bacon.
• The room did not have a waste basket, glasses and was not convenient for seniors.

“This hotel was in the process of changing to a Holiday Express we believe. It should have been closed for the process. The lobby, halls and grounds were a mess. The help that we used could not speak English, which made it difficult to get the things we needed for the room. Folks that work in this country should take English in order to communicate.”

• They were in the middle of a remodel. Everything torn up and a mess.

I am sure the improvements they were making will be nice for others sometime in the future, but they had no business being open to customers when everything was torn apart and there was machinery and debris all over the parking lots, lobbies and hallways.”

• I can think of nothing remarkable.
• Dirty, old, sprawling, poor TV, institutional feeling.

“Stains on carpets, poor construction of vanity tops (unsightly glues oozing out), Could not stop drapes (unweighted) from flapping in heater. Construction debris left in hallways and entrances. Sleep number beds are advertised.”

• The lobby is lovely; the food very good.
• Temperature uneven; needs remodeling in some areas;

“The hotel staff was friendly and room service was very good - quick, and good food. The baseboards in hallways were missing in some areas, the walls had some stains and black marks, the carpeting had some stained areas - not what I expect from hotel. In addition, "most" rooms have sleep number beds, but I did not receive one, although the hotel was not very full. The hotel people should think about this. I also spent almost as much in room service as I paid for the room!”

“Given the current reconstruction program, at completion this may be a good hotel, but it should not be during this phase. The price was great if you want to do nothing more that sleep, and there is an adequate exercise room, but the dust and roped off areas take away from the facility.”

• The hotel is conveniently located.
• The hotel is run down, the carpet had cigarette burns and the walls had stains.

“This hotel is grossly overrated as a 3 star. It is misleading and I was very disappointed with the quality of this run down facility. The room was dingy, had cigarette burns in the carpet and the walls had several stains. It is in desperate need of upgrading. It needs to be removed from prickling or moved down to a lower star rating.”

“Absolutely a total rip off. This motel room was not worth half I paid for it. They were remolding and everything was torn up or covered up. I would not recommend this to even an enemy.”

• It took 5-10 minutes to be greeted, and then I didn't see any staff.
• I left my phone charger in my room and it took 4.5 phone calls until the nicest, most responsible man, eyelet (?) Took care of me and found my charger.

• Cheeseburger in hotel restaurant made me sick.

“I've always felt that this hotel was in a very safe area, and I¿m pretty sure that still holds true. I was concerned, though, when I saw broken glass in the parking lot, leading me to believe that a car had been broken into. Perhaps better lighting/patrol is needed?”

• The room stunk, on return home I needed to wash everything.

“Location was good. Price acceptable. Facilities average. Downside was the smell of the room. Everything that I took into the room smelled or an old disinfectant, old smokers room, broken air conditioner stench, I couldn't pin point. I know that everything that I took into the room for my overnight needed cleaning on my return home.”

• Renovations had the place a mess. No wastebasket, remote, room not clean.

“At its current state, the hotel is in no way a 3 star facility. Junk was everywhere. Hallways cluttered. I had two rooms. One room w/ no clock/alarm. Neither room had remotes for the TV nor did neither room have waste baskets. One room was still dirty including a thong under the covers. I would not like to stay at this facility in the future. This is the first time I used it without satisfaction.”

• It is a dump! They are remodeling and the non-smoking rooms are really smoker rooms. This happened to several guests complaining.

• The location of this hotel allowed us to find an excellent restaurant nearby.
• The hotel is obsolete and needs a major renovation.

“This hotel is on par with lower level facilities (Knights Inn, etc.). Stayed there a year ago on business, there were a few sleep number beds available then. When I checked in this time, there were still only a few rooms with this feature (apparently management does not want to spend money). Would not eat here on a dare. I know that there are adequately sized meeting/conference rooms attached which is good.”

“This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The location was bad, a lot of construction-wires hanging from the ceiling, workmen in the middle of the night, dumpsters everywhere, etc. The night staff was rude and not helpful in direction us to our room. This place is a maze. I would never recommend this place to anyone.”

“After staying in the doubletree suites which is the same star rating as this one, this one was a dive. The room was dirty and there was still trash left over from the previous tenants in the bathroom. The walls were very thin and you could hear everything in the hallway plus your neighbors. I would be very hesitant to pick the three stars in the Worthington area due to this place.”

• They were very responsive to problems with the room.
• In the midst of renovation and one of the outside doors were left open overnight.

“Mostly a positive experience. Although there were problems with the room, (very cold and had to wait for it to warm up- 62 degrees at check in) Remote not working desk lamp not working and ceiling developed a severe leak over the other bed, the staff responded immediately, called maintenance to fix things and moved me to a new room within 10 minutes of reporting the leak. Very good service recovery.”

“I have gotten this hotel in 2.5 star rating. The hotel is under renovation, the remote control didn't work, the shower was taken apart I had to reassemble it to take a shower. ”
