• Clean and conveniently located.

“The rooms are spacious with a comfortable leather rocker recliner. The room was clean and the sink area was separate from the tub and toilet (bathroom). The only thing was the bed was not very comfortable.”

• Rooms were very clean and attractive. Lobby was impressive.
• Receptionist was not very helpful and hotel was hard to find.

“We went with a group of 5 adults on a girl's trip to King's Island and it was not easy trying to find the hotel at night from the park. We got lost!! Staff was not very helpful with directions to location. But the hotel lobby was very warm and inviting and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The beds were huge and the decor was very classy. Bathroom was clean and convenient with the sink outside the toilet & shower room. Very nice for business travelers or for a girl's trip!!”

• It was clean and nicely located restaurants and a mall.
• The front desk was slow, it took us almost 45 minutes to check in.

“For the most part it was nicely located and clean. The staff was friendly but slow, it took us 45 minutes to check in, plus they never had enough extra towels. Otherwise for the price and cleanliness it was okay.”

• The hotel was convenient in location and good in price.
• The lower level floor had a very odd musky smell and did have a smoke smell.

“Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The only thing that was bothersome was the fact that the first floor hallway smelled musky or soured. You could smell cigarette smoke as we went toward our smoke-free room. However, the room was nice and did not smell that way. I wish continental breakfast hours had been until 10:00 a.m., too! Still, folks were nice, the room was clean, and the location was good. We would stay again if up that way.”

“Have stayed at this hotel 3-4 times in recent years, and it is slipping. There seem to be quite a few long term guests (who maybe even live there?) who are noisy. Breakfast has always been a weakness (little variety), this hasn't changed. The rooms are still good, and there is free high speed internet.”

“Hotel centrally located but our room had a bad smell which was unsuccessfully covered up by some strong aroma coming from the heating/air conditioning unit. We've never seen such flat pillows and when we asked for more we received a pillow and a sheet set?”

“I've stayed at this hotel, 4 times over the last 6 months. Each time for a week. This was a very good budget hotel. Rooms were nice, service good. The only problem is noise on busy weekends. And the doors slamming shut when closed. It shakes the room. And hard to sleep. This last stay. I did not receive the room I booked. I was also told at check in they were now only cleaning rooms once a week. Which meant no clean towels, no coffee for the in room coffee pot, no nothing! The place has really gone down hill. I wont be staying there again. Think Ill try next door. There are a lot of hotels in the area.”

• Convenience.
• Hotel was dirty and staff not very polite. Breakfast bar not good at all.

“Service was substandard and room was very dirty. Requested more towels from the front desk and after my husband went down to the lobby to get them, they looked stained/dirty. Room was not very clean and did not want to stay in smoking room. The hotel also did not have a room reserved for us.”

• The furniture was top of the line for a 2 1/2 star hotel.
• Not much room to walk around. Room is more narrow than most.

“To me the best thing any hotel can do is have a coffee pot, mini-fridge, a comfortable bed, and if possible a nice TV. This hotel had all that and a whole lot more. A nice desk for working, beautiful furniture, soft carpet, nice decor, and no dents or dings to be found.”

“The stay was satisfactory. The staff was not as expected; they did not have a shop or place to purchase forgotten items (toothbrush/paste) and reluctantly looked for supplies with no avail. Breakfast also was not up to normal standards for selection.”

• I thought for the price the room was nice as well as the breakfast the following morning.
• I really have nothing negative to say considering the price we paid for the room.

“I have never heard of liven suites and I was eager to check in because for the price we paid. I was impressed with the fact that the accommodations were nice with the basics that one would expect. I hope on our next trip to Cincinnati we will be lucky enough to stay at liven suites again. I hope they keep up the good work.”

• The room and bathroom was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable.
• The breakfast buffet was limited, it was okay for me but compared to some other hotels the selection was limited.

“I was very pleased with my stay. We were in Cincinnati to attend the Germania Society Oktoberfest which was fairly close. The hotel is located a short distance off I275.”

• There was nothing I did not like.

“This hotel needs to be upgraded to at least a 3 star. The staffs were friendly. The hotel was perfect. The rooms had everything and more anyone could need or want. Staff had no problem allowing us to check out late. I would definitely stay again, in fact am going to recommend my company use this hotel as a corporate meeting place other than the Holiday Inn. I was extremely impressed; Thank you for making my stay enjoyable.”

• Hotel staff was sleeping when we arrived and could not find our reservation.

“Room was nice, but hotel staff was horrible. The front desk clerk was sleeping when we arrived and I had to call the main line to wake him up, before he came up front to help us. He could not find our reservation and was very, very stupid. Other guests in the hotel were hanging out and being very loud in the common areas (it was 2:00 AM) and the staff did not care. If it were not for the staff and other guests, it would have been a very positive experience. The room was clean and met all expectations for a 2 star hotel.”

“I have found that using your service with less that 4 star hotels, you end up with crappy rooms. Even at the 4 star hotels you get the worst rooms, but even the worst 4 star room is better than anything a two star hotel has, I will be limiting how much I use your service, because I'm tired of staying in poor rooms because of you. Tell your vendors to stop treating your customers like second class citizens.”

• The bed was very comfortable, the fridge was big, the easy chair was nice, and the free wireless internet was great!
• There were no protein dishes (eggs, breakfast meats, cheeses, anything) on the breakfast buffet. Also my room was not always cleaned perfectly well.

“This was a nice basic hotel-- nice common areas, comfy bed, nice room, TV with remote, doors that open onto an inside hall, free internet, 1/2 size fridge, microwave, (no cook top) basic swimming pool, etc. The breakfast buffet was lacking in my opinion, though-- no protein at all, just crabby stuff, and my room was not always cleaned totally well-- the bathroom floor was left dirty several times, my pillows were uncased one day (I later found the pillowcases in a bunch underneath the sheets in the bed) and the bed was not made right twice. Even though the room was labeled as a non-smoking room, I could swear I smelled smoke residue a couple of days in a row. The staff was somewhat slow but very friendly. Over all, though, it was a great deal for the negotiated price!”

• Check in was poor. Took 30 minutes. Room smelled of smoke.

“It was easy to get too off of I-75. The check in was not smooth. Due to lack of cleaning staff there were not sufficient clean rooms. Check in took nearly 30 minutes. It was, however, Memorial Day weekend and the Motel was full.”

• Great hotel for the money I paid! Although, the room wasn't quite as good as another one I got @ higher rate.
• I stayed on Friday and Saturday night due to working heavy hours locally. The people coming up and down the hallway at bar closing time (2am to 3am) too noisy.

“Excellent hotel for the money. But I could hear kids banging in a room next to mine (7-10pm) and the hallway noise coming into the room was annoying (especially while trying to sleep!). Other than that, it was a nice place.”

There were many children at various sports tournaments there the weekend I was there. The room itself was not the most modern or overwhelmingly clean but it met my needs of a safe place to sleep.”

“The hotel is fairly nice for the price. The room we were supposed to have - 2 beds nonsmoking was not available as promised. We were upgraded to a suite; however, this is not what I was promised. I have seen this problem mentioned in other reviews. So, if it is important what kind of beds you want I would not recommend this hotel.”

• General Manager apologized for lack of staffing (see below).
• Front desk staff not present at arrival - waited 5+ minutes for anyone to arrive and phone ringing off the hook, too.

“Very nice hotel with a few issues just during my experience. Seemed to be a bit short-staffed as I had to wait over 5 minutes for any front desk staff member to arrive to check me in (I had to ask someone to get some help) and the phone was ringing without being answered. Then had to wait while the General Manager answered phone and took two reservations. before she could check me in. Breakfast not very well staffed/supplied when I went to eat at 8am (nothing but bread for toast - out of bagels or any other breads), a couple of cereals, some fruit, and make-your-own waffles (only 2 waffle makers, though). The room was very nice w/dorm-sized refrigerator and microwave, recliner, in-room coffee maker. Overall, I will consider staying again if the need arises because of economy price.”

• It has been remodeled recently. Very nice furnishings!
• Can't think of any.

“The staff is always very friendly and ready to help. The lobby is stunning for a 2 star hotel. I have stayed here several times and absolutely love it! I would highly recommend this hotel for a short or lengthy stay. Love it, love it, and love it!”
