• The hotel was in a good location and good price for what we went down there for.
• The only thing I didn't like was that everything in our room was really clean except in the bathroom.

“The hotel was very nice, and the price was right. Also the two pool areas we very nice and kid friendly. It is also in a good location, only 13 miles to Kings Island and close to good restaurants & shopping. We will stay there again the next time we go down...”

• Convenient location and two nice pools.
• Air conditioner in room had some trouble cooling the room.

“I liked the location of the hotel and overall the facilities were good. The check-in and check-out were quick. A shopping mall and many restaurants were nearby. One drawback was that in my room the air conditioner was slow to cool the room when I turned it down overnight.”

• I liked that it was close to Kenwood Mall and a Bob Evans.
• The bed was hard, the pillows were not soft, and bathroom was iffy.

“Overall the hotel served the purpose for our visit. It was a good location and close to the tennis tournament that we were attending. I like that the mall is close and that there was plenty to choose from as far as food goes. It wasn't amazing but once again, it served it's purpose.”

• The hotel was convenient, wonderful place to stay and worth coming back to.
• I had a wonderful visit , there was not a thing that I didn't like.

• Poor maintenance.

“No hot water when we first arrived but was quickly fixed. Exterior door falling off. Outdoor pool full of cottonwood fluffiest (seeds). Room was clean. Indoor pool worked for me. 30 minutes to northwest or southeast corners of city.”

• Convenient close to the interstate nearby shopping and food.
• Traffic leaving hotel can be troublesome with no traffic light at the exit.

“It is an old hotel, that has gone be several different names. It was not within the area that I had requested, but we made due. A little extra miles traveled was needed to get us back and forth to our event, but all in all, we weren't overly inconvenience. We had request a room in Blue Ash Ohio, and this was not in that area. In fact, it was probably 10 miles from there.”

• 1st room not ready, 2nd room given smelled strongly of cat urine.

“Staff was courteous. Housekeeping/maintenance has some serious concerns to work out. Our first room (211)was incomplete (no pillows, bathroom dirty, trash in containers,etc.) We complained to desk staff. We were given a new room. Our new room (213)had a strong odor of CAT URINE. We asked for assistance on this matter. (Keep in mind it is 9pm) We waited about 10 minutes, then went to pool (it closes at 10pm). Came back at 10:15pm and there was a can of deodorizer spray. That did NOT fix the problem. At this point we just tolerated it (the smell). The next night we asked for a new room, and was given the original room (211)(cleaned finally). Entry door to this room was very squeaky, fortunately, I watched MacGyver as a kid and used a bar of soap to stop the squeaking, impressed the kids!This hotel was probably really nice some time ago, but has aged, and needs some serious TLC. There are no clear directions to find the pool, especially when it is dark.”

• It had beautiful, secluded grounds off of a busy street. It was very private.
• There were no towels on the pool area and the room. GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT!!

“Overall, was a bad experience. There were no towels in room or at the pool. Front desk said sorry about your luck, you'll have to wait until 7:30am...completely unacceptable. The bathroom was dirty, the room phone was inoperable, the TV was fuzzy, not clear picture, the security door lock was busted, the shower drain did not drain, the water got no hotter than luke warm, and hospitality came knocking at 9:30am to see if we were still checked in, waking everyone up. The hotel had great potential to be a great place to stay, but the above made it very difficult to digest.”

• Bed - comforter smelled like BO. No free breakfast. Need more TV channels (Fox News, CNBC).

“There was no one there. It was empty. Loved the pool and the fitness center. I travel to Cincinnati to visit family frequently and would love to stay here again.”

• Very close to highway exit without being noisy.
• Low wattage light bulbs, very small bathroom, sink drain very slow, sink stopper apparatus had come out and was lying on counter.

“While it looked very high-end from the outside, I found it just okay in the room. I dislike rooms that have low wattage light bulbs, and the sink barely drained. ”

• The breakfast was much less than desirable.

“Nice place to spend a quick night. Don't eat there. no control over hot or cold water. hot Saturday night, have to wait to get cold. Sunday morning, all cold, no hot at all.”

“Very easy access to, from interstate. Ample choices of stores and restaurants within a few blocks. Large rooms with above average decor and very quiet hallways. Great housekeeping.”

“Clearly in need of an update/upgrade. Doors, rugs, vents, televisions, etc. all show their age and wear. Advertise wireless internet access but it was not available in my room; front staff advised to come to lobby to use. While inexpensive, it is not one I would recommend to anyone.”

• Nice pool, good location.
• Did not make up bed, maids wake up patrons at 9 a.m. for cleaning.

“Cleanliness needs improved. Sheets were dirty and maid did not restock shampoo or toilet paper. Need to sweep carpet. This is a nice hotel, but it needs to be cleaned better. It's really a 2-star hotel that could be a 3-star hotel if cleaned up more.”

“If this would have been a 2star hotel rating, I would not have been surprised by the lack of cleanliness. I liked the general hotel and service, but the housekeeping was horrible. I would not want to stay here again for that reason. If cleanliness would be improved I would stay at this hotel again.”

• This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The hotel was beautiful inside, the rooms were large, and the beds were very comfortable.
• I can't think of anything I could complain about.

“For what we paid for this hotel, it was wonderful. We stayed there after a trip to Kings Island and it was very convenient. There were plenty of resturants near by and a mall down the street. The room was very large for a hotel room, and it was decorated very nicely. The rooms was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would recomend this hotel.”

• The name had changed to Best Westin, so it was confusing.

“The hotel was great, I didn't like the name had change and we had to look for kenwood suites,come to find out that it was a best western hotel. They should have put a name up that they used to be called kenwood suite. The hotel was nice and clean, friendly hotel staff, very customer oriental.”

• Our Reservations were not on file when we arrived but the staff was vary accomodating.
• The cleanliness of this hotel is not all that great. Dirty hot tub, do not replaced used glassware, Pool chairs were extremely dirty.

“This hotel in my opinion should not be rated as high as it is. This is our second stay here and I am not at all impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. During our last stay I encountered dirty coffee cups and a dirty bathroom. During this stay which was 4 nights, we never received clean glassware, they did not leave coffee everyday, the hot tub was very dirty and so dirty we did not dare get in it. The lounge chairs by the pool were very dirty and looked like they had not yet been cleaned for the year.”

“The beds were awful and hard, the bathrooms were not very clean, the staff did not know their rooms, they didn't respond to an E-mail question prior to my stay, and they were rude when a request was made. They acted put out and bothered by everything. I will never stay at this hotel again.”

• Conveniently located along I75 with easy access to downtown and Six Flags areas.
• 30-40 years old, unrenovated facility. Air conditioning malfunctioned, bathroom door falling off it's hinge.

“There's nothing wrong with this hotel if you bid on a one or two star selection. But when we received it as a three star, luxury hotel, we were very dissappointed. Best Western has taken over this old hotel, has done nothing to update the rooms, and it shows. Very plain, minimal room with malfunctioning air conditioning, tiny bathroom with the door loose on it's hinges, and substandard ammenities for a hotel.”

• The room was filthy.

“Although this was sold to me as a 3 Star property, it clearly is not. It is a Best Western. The room I was given was filthy (nail clippings in the linens, dirty towels in the room on arrival, hair in the toilet). The staff was very nice and tried to help as much as they could but the room was so filthy that it was hard to overcome that. The property is also old and needs to be refurbished. It is very deceptive to sell this as a 3 Star property. Had I known this would be in the mix, I would have requested a 2 Star.”

“My remote control did not work. I requested twice and even though they promised it to bring one to my room, it never happened. A friend who I recommended the hotel, was suppossed to get a baby crib, it never arrived and the staff tried to charge for it. Also he was woken up at 1 am for a pizza he never ordered.”

• It was not the experience I was hoping for.

“It was very hard to find and the pools were filthy and the hotel hadn't been cleaned for quite some time. There were employees able to help us with the pay per view that I was eagerly wanting to spend a quiet nite in and it wouldn't work so they said I'm sorry I dont know how to help you. So other than leaving was the only amenity I got to enjoy.”

• This was not a 3 star hotel, it was very dingy

• I could smell smoke in the non-smoking wing and the housekeeping staff left my window open

“This hotel was a very good value for the price I paid. It is an older building and the doors stick, but it was clean. Convenient to everything in Cincinnati. We never had to drive more than 20 minutes to go anywhere. Unlike some reviews I had read online, the staff was very friendly and helpful. My only serious complaints were that I was in a non-smoking wing and could smell smoke in the hallway and while we were out, the housekeeping staff opened a window in my room and left without securing it. There were cigarette butts on the ground below my window, so it appears that they were smoking in my non-smoking room while cleaning.”

• Needs major renovation, very dated with lots of visible wear and tear

“The Kenwood Inn & Suites is a Best Western Hotel. It is in a great location around 10 miles north of downtown Cincinnati. It is across the street from an upscale mall with several nice restaurant choices. I am very happy with the low price. In my opinion, the quality of the hotel is not three star as listed. The rooms were very dated with quite a bit of wear and tear. I would have been really upset if I stayed there at the regular full-price rate.”

“Slightly difficult to get to, tucked behind a gas station seemed to be only entrance. Hotel seemed very outdated and worn, giving an unclean and been around the block feeling. It is a road side motel.”
