• Clean room, small frig to put food or drink in.
• The sleep number bed were EXTREMELY over rated, not comfortable at all.

“Met by a pleasant staff even with a midnight arrival. Room very nice, with everything we might need. Good bed, good towels etc. Breakfast was good but very pricey. Good transportation to airport.”

“The bed was a sleep number bed. I was so excited about this because I wanted to try that style of bed. It was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. I could not, not only find the right number, but the pump to inflate the bed was very noisy. I could hear the rooms around me every time they adjusted their beds. The restaurant was over priced and horrible food. My husband ordered the Chick Fetticuni/Alfredo sauce was supposed to come on it. They brought it to the table without the sauce. The pasta was dry and chicken was dried out also. Chef really needs to go back and learn how to cook.”

• The people at the hotel had a excellent shuttle service to the airport.
• The room was not well cleaned and carpet was filthy. Hair on pillow shams.

• The hotel staff was great, the beds were very comfortable.
• Nothing at all, the stay was great.

“From check in to check out, the stay was a wonderful experience. It was New Years Eve and they even left the pool area open all night. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the rooms were extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a great travel experience.”

• Staff and food good and nice area in lounge and restaurants.
• Racoon climbing the railing of the fence as I was checking in. Very dark parking lot.

“This is not a 3 star hotel. 2.5 at best. I was disappointed when I got there but the staff made it better. Food was good, room was fine but I didn't consider it a 3 star.”

• The free laudry service with four young children we go through dirty clothes fast.
• They do not explain what services are charged until it's to late.

“It was a somewhat friendly experience the staff is not child friendly and the spa was turning green, we were charged 200$ for a phone call after we called the desk to ask if calls were free, but other than that it was alright.”

• Location.
• When we arrived the sink had heavy dirt from the pipes in it. Huge plumbing problems!

“While the loacation of the hotel was ideal, the room was below standard. The plumbing problem created the sink to not drain properly. Our first sight was thick, dark substance in the sink. The staff relocated us to another room the next day after we complained that we could not wash our hands or brush our teeth. Management was not accomodating, but the front desk person was more apologitic. The restaurant was very poorly staffed and it took at least an hour to get our food - then the order was wrong! They were constantly apologizing for the bad service and lack of ingredients to make orders.”

• I loved the room and the complimentary soaps.
• I was given a key to someone else's room and the counter people were rude and swearing in their conversations with each other, very unprofessional staff.

“The price was great! I loved the room and amenities, the decor of the lobby and halls, badly needs to be updated, I felt as if I was in old Las Vegas, very tacky. There was no parking available to customers, as they were repaving, although the staffs personal vehicles were located close to the building. The staff was very immature and not helpful at all. I was given a key to someone else's room and I actually walked in on them, besides the fact that, that could have been a dangerous situation, it was very embracing, the staff laughed and offered no compensation. This is not good business practices, I will not ever stay at that hotel again, due to the bad service. I feel the staff need to be trained in manners, as well as how to treat the customer as if they are always right. As a business owner myself, I would never allow my employees to treat someone this way.”

• Fire alarm went off at 6 AM, power was out from then until we left.

“Overall one of the worst experiences I've had at a hotel. It started out nice when we went to check in they told us we had a King non smoking room but when we got there, it was a queen room, very small and was right next to the elevator. We went back down, complained and they moved us. We only were staying one night (attending a concert in Portland) but the morning after the concert, the fire alarm went on at about 6 AM and rang for about 2 minutes. At that point the power was out in the entire hotel. And it never came back bit the time we left. No way to check out, no way to get billing info, no offer to send this info to us. Not a nice experience overall.”

“Hotel was very nice, overall experience was good. The staff from housekeeping was very friendly and very helpful. The gentleman that helped up kept offers us more services, which we were unaware of.”

• Not one thing.
• Bad mattress, dirty carpet in the room, dirty glasses in room, complementary water bottle had been opened and a small amount missing; poor service.

“I was stunned by the poor quality of the room. Mattress was old and uncomfortable, carpet filthy, and the room was overall shabby, in need of refurbishing. Other, smaller details were similarly disappointing, such as lipstick on the glass and the single complementary water bottle had already been opened with a small amount missing. Finally, I asked for a quiet room and it turned out the agent had put me right next to the elevator, so I got to hear the loud, droning mechanism playing all night long. I had checked in late in the evening, was exhausted, and thought I'd be able to at least sleep and ignore all my complaints about the room but after a night of interrupted sleep wished I had checked into a different hotel. Radisson is a brand name where I expected decent quality. Having stayed in others on business travel; this particular Radisson was substandard under any measure.”

“Portland Radisson hotel was conveniently located close to the Portland airport. Room with queen beds was nice since beds had Sleep comfort controls. Shower was treacherous-long step in to the tub only to encounter a slippery surface. Overall, a good value but devoid of much style. Sort of the Toyota Camry of hotels.”

• Big parking lot makes it hard to park near the hotel.

“My wife and I have stayed twice at this hotel and both times found it to be just right. Last weekend we arrived without a reservation and the front desk, learning we had stayed there before, gave us $20 off per night for a 4-day stay. The desk staff could not have been more helpful. The bed was very comfortable, electrically adjustable by air pressure, and the room had a nice desk area and a small davenport. The restaurant is pleasant in a nice setting. It is very basic and we opted to have breakfast once, then go elsewhere. The hotel is a little hard to find at first, and one drawback is its huge parking lot which doubles as a park-n-ride facility for airport travelers. This lot is usually very full and you may have to walk a bit to get to your vehicle. ”

“I have stayed here several times and always enjoy it. It's in a lovely setting with the lake and the ducks and all the trees. Staff is very nice and always accommodating. Restaurant stays open late which is nice as I am always arriving late.”

• Restaurant did serve lunch early enough for travelers. Didn't start until 12:00. No Christian stations on the TV programming.

• Bus to and from airport was overcrowded and therefore unsafe, unsafe, no use!

“You need to provide adequate buses for transferring people and their luggage to and from the hotel. The crowded bus with people and luggage in the aisles are hazards to all onboard.”

“The Portland Raddison Hotel is a nice facility from which its is relatively easy to reach the Airport however, other locations in Portland require some knowledge of the area or better directions from the hotel staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable.”
