“Hotel Ambassador claims to be a 4-star hotel and shows the 4 stars on many of its signs. It wouldn't make it to even 3 stars under any objective measure. The room was pathetic; cracked paint, dysfunctional bathroom, and mediocre furnishings. The service was laughable. They just don't want to work and they get very rude (even to French standards) when you make the simplest standard request. The buffet breakfast was just OK on some days, poor on other days. Their private beach club is far away, and there are much better private beach clubs nearby that one can go to at the same price. All in all, it is one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.”
