“Had the staff been more accommodating, I would stay at this hotel again.” Jun 22, 2007 by

“We took a taxi direct from the airport to our hotel the tulip (loved it), did not need any water transportation as master is still on the mainland, this was perfect for the 4 of us, as we picked up a rental car while still visiting Venice to go to Verona to see the opera (fantastic experience). The tulip was directly across the street from the train station that went directly to Venice (great). We had a lot of luggage so not having to lug it from the water services that are needed to get in and out of Venice was another thing we didn't have to do. There were a couple of really wonderful restaurants that we experienced in master, authentic, not touristy. Try the lemon cello drink served in Mestre only. So delicious. We took the train into Venice in the morning and out again at night for 3 days, I can't wait to go back to visit Venice all over again and we will definitely stay at the golden tulip triton Master. We were on the lower floors which had just been re-modeled. If you are going to Venice for the first time and you haven't really got a plan, you have to take the whole "s" canal boat ride and do not get off until you have done a complete tour of the canal so you can get oriented and then set off to see things that looked interesting to you, so you do not miss them. Go to Burano, but start out early as the boat back is long, more than an hour if I remember correct. Find out what time the churches are open for viewing so you aren't locked out. Enjoy! We were in Italy, august 2005 for 3 fabulous weeks; 4 days of it in Venice (got to go back).” Sep 25, 2004 by
Larry N. from Sebastopol “Other than the room being small, it was clean and the staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English. The breakfast (included) was great. The location was perfect. Across the street from the train station (couldn't hear the train); bus #2 stopped right outside and took us to the water taxis. Several good restaurants close by. Everything in walking distance!” 4 of 5 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
