“The staff there is great! So friendly, becoming personal and knowing your Name and who you are. Great with children, and older guests traveling especially on leisure trips. The rooms are awesome, calming with a great view. Everything is very delicate, but gorgeous. You can go though the buffet room for breakfast, for the best grapefruit juice and donuts I¿ve ever had. Also, the location was perfect, right off the champ¿s lyses. Actually, it was perfect in general! Our room was always in shipshape (except for us throwing clothes everywhere!), and I never found a single speck of dust. The concierge helped us with restaurant reservations and always checked to make sure we had a happy stay. I recommend this for 8 years old kids and up, but not toddlers and babies (too delicate, with glass and flowers in the stunning lobby). Very romantic, and this is the only hotel I would go to in the city of lights.” Mar 27, 2007 by

“The hotel is located in an upscale neighborhood, ripe for shopping and eating. The Rooms appeared to be developed in the mid-20th century, and hopefully with Star wood now overseeing, the Heavenly beds will begin appearing.” Dec 24, 2006 by
Caroline from Westborough, MA
“The Prince de Galles Hotel is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The rooms are lovely, and the bathrooms are huge and luxurious. The staff is very polite, and the hotel accommodated our request for an early check-in with a noon check-in. (They do not accommodate earlier check-ins.) The only bad thing about the hotel is that it tries to "nickel and dime" you into paying a higher price. Everything extra has an outrageous price. The restaurant is fine but not great for Paris but the prices are higher than in most of France's (Michelin) 3-star restaurants! The staff is also hungry for tips. If you can avoid using any of the extras, stay at the Prince de Galles!” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Nov 20, 2006 by

“Great price for a 4 star hotel in a great area.” Oct 26, 2006 by

“Room is long overdue for remodeling. Queen size bed had 2 twin mattresses positioned side by side. Room temperature was very warm despite 50 degree outdoor temperature and difficult to control. Hotel lobby is elegant and impressive. Location is convenient.” May 21, 2006 by
Gilda from Dunedin, FL
“Excellent location off Champs Elysees and beautiful European decor and service.” May 1, 2006 by

“For Paris, this is a good 4-star hotel. Location is great, if you like the 8th/Champs-Elysees area. The staff is very friendly. My room as good size, the air conditioning worked, and the water pressure was adequate. However, as can be expected of a 4-star hotel in Paris, all amenities were way overpriced. In-room bottled water costs $9, breakfast is $35, and outrageously, wifi connectivity costs $18 for 2 hours, and $40/day.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Mar 1, 2006 by

“Hotel is clean and quaint. The reception area could be a little more warm and inviting, although it is still nice. The outside of the hotel could use some brightening up.” 1 of 2 people found this review helpful.Dec 3, 2005 by

“Great. We had absolutely no knowledge of this before we arrived at the hotel. Plus the so called premium rooms appeared to be the same size as the regular room. The only difference was that the premium rooms had two beds.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Nov 20, 2005 by

“The hotel is in an excellent location and the staff never stopped serving us. I was not feeling well upon arrival and the reception attendant brought me water while another staff member asked if I would like some food. The lobby, elevator, hallways, and of course the actual guest room are just lovely just like a five star hotel should be. We were very comfortable and happy with our choice. ” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Nov 17, 2005 by

“Great location with helpful, friendly staff. Big bathtub was nice. Rooms are smallish in size. Room needed a new, updated look, it was tired.” Nov 17, 2005 by
Martin from Fontana, CA
“Overall hotel appearance great, but room looked dark and dated. Wallpaper coming off, needed a fresh coat of paint.” Nov 6, 2005 by
Omid F. from Chestnut Hill, MA
“A+ location adjacent to George V hotel and close to Conference Center and of the shops and restaurants of Champs Elyesse. A+ service, room size a bit on the small side but larger than typical euro hotels. On the negative side, excessive charge for internet access (35 euro per day).” Nov 5, 2005 by
Caesar from Scottsdale, AZ
“Stayed on the sixth floor facing the courtyard, which was very quiet, in a deluxe king. Clean and well appointed. The service was very prompt and to the fact. Concierge was excellent for commanding tables as exclusive restaurants at the last minute. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and we would gladly return.” Oct 17, 2005 by

“Old, beautiful hotel just off the Champs Elysees close to metro stop. Hotel staff mostly accomodating, but some were a bit rude. Service overall to unpredictable, we would definetly not stay in this hotel again.” Jul 6, 2005 by

“This hotel is in a nice part of Paris (next door to the George V) and is convenient. The staff all spoke English with a smile. The rooms and bathrooms are large. We used the hotel wireless network. It works well, just expensive. We were very pleased with the price and the accomodations. Thanks.” May 18, 2005 by
Henry from Oakland, CA
“We found the hotel to our liking and would return to this hotel in the future. The location was very good, close to the Metro and many local places to eat.” May 9, 2005 by

“Excellent friendly staff and outstanding service” Apr 27, 2005 by
Carole from Elmhurst, IL
“The hotel was very clean and comfortable and was within a short walk to the Champs Elysses.” Jan 19, 2005 by
Jennifer from Gary, NE
“Although I didn't find the room quite up to a 5* plus rating (water stains on the wallpaper), the room was perfectly clean and the service was better than excellent. Maid service several times a day, beveled mirrors in the room, a newspaper hanging on our door in the morning. It was a wonderful experience. Hotel personnel was very competent and friendly without being pretentious. ” Dec 6, 2004 by
Todd C. from New York “Although the hotel is an older five-star property, the rooms are a nice size, staff and services were excellent and it is in a truly great location. The only thought one may have is that this hotel, being located directly next to the more modern Four Seasons property, may think about a slight facelift....” Oct 18, 2004 by
“Our hotel was absolutely beautiful! The room was much larger than I thought a room in Paris would be with very efficient housekeeping. All of the staff was friendly; courteous and fast completing any request we had. Although no treats on your pillow with turn down service, I would not hesitate to stay here again especially given the incredible deal we got at this sold out hotel!” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
