• Good location, decent rates.
• Very noisy from 6.30 am due to major construction.

“I stay at the Diplomat quite regularly (monthly) and it is normally a good place to stay in Bahrain. However I should warn people that there is now (July 2008) a major construction going on directly in front of the hotel, which commences at 6.30 am and continues until 7.00pm. On a week day this wouldn't be a problem as I'd be up and off to work, but construction is also occurring on weekends. Do not stay here if you're looking for a decent night's sleep any time before at least mid-2009.”
