• Reasonably spacious. Comfortable. Walking distance of Leeds Station.
• Bed positioned too close to artex wall on one side - scratchy!

“As a business traveller, I would rate this hotel as one of the better medium range hotels I have stayed in. I do think that -u99 was a little pricey though - -u75--u80 would have been fairer compared to other hotels I have stayed in around the country. Th”

• TV was good. The Bath was a nice size. Hotel was quite, good room temperature.
• the room was not completely clean, little things here and there. The bed was too stiff with no nice big covers.

• The room was clean and had very good facilities.

“The hotel is nice and very clean. We booked a double room and we got an extra sofa bed at no extra cost. The room was spacious and clean, making our stay pleasant. The relatively late checkout time (noon) is a bonus too.”

• cheap because booked in advance theu internet
• ccar park was full but they guided me to local rail car park. Internet should have prompted me to book hotel car park in advance

• smoking room and veiw.

“the internet gave me all the informtion i needed. my partner was 30 and i took him to watch Leeds United, you could see elland road from the room of which we stayed. the room had everything we needed and staff were very pleasent. when we watch Leeds again, i will book this hotel again.”

• Spacious, clean and comfortable.

“The restaurant provided a first class breakfast. However, we did not dine there in the evenings as, in our opinion, it lacked atmosphere because the place was virtually empty and the lighting was too bright.”

• Cleanliness/tidyness of room - car parking facility - friendly staff
• There was nothing we didn't like.

“Having only stayed in Premier Lodge/Travel Inn type accommodation in the past, this was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were spacious and well furnished. The car parking facility was a definite bonus, and swung our decision as to where to stay. I don't know whether we would have stayed if we had had to pay the full price rather than the internet price, but as we do most of our booking etc on the internet, we would do it again this way.

The only negative side was that there could have been better directions on the internet site to the hotel. We spent about 20 minutes driving around Leeds trying to find it!”

“as a first time guest at your hotel,we could not fault it at all,the staff were all friendly,and curteouse,the bar was well stocked and the bar staff very friendly.a very enjoyable weekend.”

• Hotel parking very useful in city centre
• Would like more supplies of tea/coffee making facilities, also sink in toilet.

“We enjoyed our stay, the only complaint I would make was the bar staff on the first night - I ordered a pint of
Bass which is on the bar menu - after 2 tries the barman said 'I don't know what you're are talking about' after pointing to the tariff I was told it was no longer available. I also asked for Tia Maria, there wasn't any - the barman then said - Oh and we've run out of Bailey's as well - in case you were going to ask for that. The second evening Tia Maria was available - I would have expected a bar in a 4 star city hotel to be stocked with Tia maria and Baileys !”

• convenience easy to get to also close to station and the fact that disabled parking is available
• I order beakfast on arrival at 21:00 but did not receive it and had to chase this up

“generally I am pleased with Novotel. You can find out a lot of facts about the hotel on-line and we have used it 4 or 5 times now. It is now easier to explain that I need disabled parking which has to be a main feature of my stay also that I want a non-smoking room. A small but useful point would be to have other alternatives to plain tea and coffee - which I do not drink - herbal tea would be nice or two chocolate drinks for am and pm. Usually my husband come together and then it is a good price for the two of us but on my own I still had to pay the same amount. I liked it because I could have a drink in my room because I was tired after a long journey”

• It was clean and tidy and well located
• Parking can be difficult. Small disapointment, I would like to see more Hot Chocolate in the rooms for those of us who don't drink tea or coffee. Robes in the room would have been a nice touch and handy.

• The room was larger than most other hotels (437)
• The door to adjoining room needs sounproofing. At my age I need better light for reading in bed!

• Clean, well presented rooms, excellent service, cannot fault

“Only question Id raise (and by no means a complaint) is why was paying with cash such a concern? I was requested to provide photographic ID which, being on a leisure break, I didn't have anything with me, though reception staff did take a photocopy of my personal and business credit cards.”

• Modern and spacious room design, very well appointed for the price

“A very pleasing experience and difficult to criticise for the price. Breakfast was perhaps relatively expensive (but very good) and the bar and reception areas a little sterile, but all in all ideal for an overnight stop and reasonably convenient for central Leeds facilities.”

“Disappointed, as booked non-smoking rooms and were given smoking rooms, inwhich they did smell. We didnt ask to be moved as we were a
group and wanted to be together.
Was disturbed frequently by 'party goers' in the rooms above in the early hours of the morning even up til 4am.
Don't get away alone without children very often and we were disappointed that our stay wasn't the best we had hoped for.
Couldnt fault staff -very friendly.”

• The central location of the hotel is excellent.

“The online map needed to be expanded.As a first time visitor to the city with all its one way systems finding the hotel location was,to say the least, quite difficult.Achieving that primary objective the stay was all I could have wished for. The staff in all areas were a credit to the organisation and in this day of take it or leave it made a lasting impression of care for the customer.”
