“This was the first time my husband and went to Mexico, and feel in love with this hotel I tell everyone about it, the rooms were clean and bright, the food was great, the staff was very helpful. The only place my husband wants to go is the Qualton club in Mexico, he does not care if he goes anywhere else and we have been to the Bahamas and all over Florida we are all ready planning our trip for next year to go to exact spot.” Feb 21, 2007 by

“I just spent two weeks at this resort and returned home on Feb. 20th/07. I have to say that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute we spent there. We are frequent travelers and have stayed in 3, 4 and 5 star hotels throughout Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe and we were as happy or happier here as we've been anywhere. We found this resort to be very well kept and groomed and the rooms although a little old, were very clean and well kept. There was always something good to eat, even for the fussy eater. I can honestly say that even after 2 weeks, I was very disappointed to leave and I would go back in a minute. It was great!” Aug 22, 2006 by

“Not a good idea book somewhere else. It is by far the worst hotel in Ixtapa, all around the city you will see nice hotels and wish you were there. It is right next door to a really nice hotel don't know the name of it but you should book there. Friends stayed there and loved it. We stayed at Qualton and ended up paying extra to have a earlier flight. We both got food poisoning and there is no inside to the whole hotel except for your room. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are all in the same place a little covered area outside. And the food is buffet style and sits outside for hours-with bugs flying around. The bathroom bad. There is no bathtub, and the shower didn't even drain. The air condition only worked good at night- the rest of the time it was burning up. The water outside the hotel isn't nice but Ixtapa Island is about 1/2 a mile a way and it is beautiful. It is only 3 dollars a person to go there and back. But I would recommend going somewhere else cause the Island is small. But whatever you do don't stay here or you will want to go home the whole time.” 5 of 6 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
