• Shopping on premisis, nice pool, good
  food and heavy security.

“Beautiful interrior, lots of armed guards attached and protected shopping mall and dining.”

• Excellent if you are adopting from Guatemala and would like to avoid the "baby factory" atmosphere.
• Would be nice if there were an outdoor garden or walking path.

• It was a very safe, clean hotel, with lot to do.
• Front desk staff did not always give receipts or correct change back.

“This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel and have pretty good experiences both times. The only exception being that I paid a deposit for the phone and did not receive a receipt. The deposit was 20 dollar, but was told at check out I had only paid 10 dollars. I realize this is not a lot of money but a similar occurrence happened on my first stay as well which leads me to believe that the front desk staff tend to skim a little off of every bill.”

• Rooms are spacious and pretty. Close to a mall.
• Check in was a mess.

“It took over 20 minutes for them to find out that I did have a reservation During this time they ignored me and checked in at least 5 other rooms. After the nightmare of checking in I was stressed out. I had never been to the hotel did not even know where the restaurant was and got no information. But the room was really nice. I might try the hotel again for the nice room and location. ”

• Staff was awesome, nice hotel for American travels, nothing negative about hotel.
• Nothing.

“The staff at The Grand Tikal Futura was over the top! They could not do enough to please us. We would highly recommend this hotel. It is over a 3 story mall area so that added to the convenience for not having to go out to find something to do. Americans are not advised to be out on the streets alone in Guatemala City. Even the taxis arranged by the hotel were terrific!”
