“We just spent our honeymoon at the Excellence Riviera in Cancun and I must say it was amazing! Great staff, great food, great location. It was a piece of paradise! I totally recommend it for a great getaway!” May 1, 2008 by

“Having been to this resort last year, I can honestly say it is one of the best all inclusive resorts in the area. It is now called "Excellence Riviera Cancun'. The food is very good for an all inclusive. There is always something to do. My suggestion is to go with the swim out suites. You have direct access to the pool from your patio. The Riviera Maya has plenty to do and is better in my opinion than staying in the Cancun area. We mainly stayed at the resort to experience what we had paid for. Excellence has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Service is awesome and I really like the location.” Mar 3, 2007 by

“This hotel is truly excellent. Very aptly Name and a true piece of paradise. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel as if you are the only guest and every attention is paid to detail. The restaurants are superb and the staff truly panders to the whims of all guests. The French restaurant is magnificent and I defy anyone to say their meal was not of a high standard. This hotel is magical. Well done to the excellence team.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Nov 21, 2006 by

“This is certainly a honeymoon destination filled with 20-something couples just married. The hotel staff was excellent except for repeated problems with rude, arrogant, and unhelpful front desk staff (I've never seen front desk staff this rude all the time!). The restaurants are very good with superb service and above-average food. The site (especially the meandering pools and spa) are extremely good. If you're hoping for a beach, look elsewhere ... the combination of dirty sand, murky water, no surf, and poor swimming area made the beach not worth even going for a swim. Room was extremely spacious with a nice balcony. If you're a young honeymooner, this is the place to go ... if you're beyond that or older, you'll still enjoy it and might get a laugh after seeing all the "Do Not Disturb" signs on the room doors.” 10 of 22 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
