• Shuttle service from airport and comfy beds.
• No complaints.

“Pleasant atmosphere and comfortable rooms, with granite counter bathrooms, roomy shower and comfortable beds with duvet and soft pillows.”

• Nicely decorated rooms, continental breakfast, close to eating establishments.
• Pool could have been a little warmer.

• There was a "BAR" only steps away.
• The room was not what we asked for!

“The rooms had one double bed. I was told that the hotel had not received anything asking for 2 beds! They ended up giving us cots. The pool and associated areas were a mess! The hotel staff was horrible to deal with. Then I spoke to another "guest" who told me that he had arrived without a reservation and was told that he could have a mini-suite.”

• Lobby, room and dining room had a very comfortable feeling about them.
• We had trouble locating the hotel since no directions were provided.

• It was very clean and easy to get to better than what I was anticipating after my stay at the Days Inn, in Edmonton.
• Liked everything about it, except that there is no restaurant at that facility.

• The continental breakfast had a good variety.
• Too expensive for what you get.

• Clean and spacious room, helpful, friendly, and honest staff, superb quality free continental breakfast.
• Music from night club across street till around midnight (sat. night only).

“Clean and spacious room; helpful, friendly, and honest staff, superb quality free continental breakfast. Air conditioning was quiet (better then some 4 star hotels that we stayed at during the same trip!). Despite having windows closed with air conditioning on, we could still hear quite noticeably the strong base and music from a neighborhood night club across the street on the 1st day of our stay (Saturday), till around midnight. the hotel staff was efficient and friendly in trying to resolve this issue, and we got changed to another room (but still able to hear the noise faintly as it's facing the same side of the street, only further away down the hallway. They ran out of rooms on the other side of the building). Overall, we still rate this hotel as the best quality over the other higher rated hotels because of the other facilities and services (e.g. clean and good size swimming pool and jacuzzi).”

• The shuttle to the airport was convenient.
• Can't think of anything.

“We weren't in the hotel very long since we got in late and left at 4:30 in the morning. The only complaint I have is that we requested a non-smoking room and we were assigned a smoking room. There were no other rooms available. Luckily we could open the windows and air out.”

• Beds were not great.

• Close to the airport.
• Filthy entrance, lobby, and elevator; poor lighting in room--low-wattage fluorescent bulbs.

“I would not stay here again. Though the room was clean and the bed comfortable, the aloof attitude of the desk workers, the weak lighting in the room, and the filthiness of the entrance, lobby, and elevator was a disappointment. Also, the entrance doors are not automatic, so the luggage was difficult to handle.”

• The hotel seemed to have lovely finishing and was attractively decorated.
• The carpets and floors in hallways and elevator were extremely dirty. The room was not as bad.

“I don't know if they can't get people to clean hotels in Calgary cause of the higher paying jobs in the oil industry boom or what but this hotel, although it has tons of potential, is simply not clean enough to warrant staying for any price.”

• Put in smoking room when non-smoking was requested.

• Nice staff, large room, convenient location.
• Smoking room - requested non-smoking.

“I don't know why I am getting another request to review the room. I have already done this, and the hotel manager explained to me that because I requested a non-smoking room did not mean that I would get one. No-smoking is a high priority for me. I did not understand this at the time of booking. Other than the room stinking of smoke, everything was great. The staff needs to understand that "ionizing" a room does not change a smoking to a non-smoking room. If someone does not like a smoking room because of the smell, this might be sufficient; if someone requests non smoking for health reasons (allergies and asthma), that is not good enough, and the customer should be notified at the time of booking so he/she can look for more suitable accommodations. Other than this, the hotel was extremely nice.”

• The complimentary continental breakfast, free parking, location, and fitness/pool/hot tub areas.
• The unwillingness to upgrade to a suite after I received my confirmation. They were willing to during check-in but they did not have enough inventory

“Complimentary breakfast, newspaper, local phone calls, parking, cookies, and Internet were pleasant extras. Good location, as it is near the airport and not too far from Deer foot Hwy to get downtown. The staff was friendly and our room and the public areas were always clean. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. The fitness center is small and has enough equipment to have a complete workout but no area for stretching.”

• I was stuck in a smoking room.

“The hotel states it has a free airport shuttle. However you can only use it once inbound and outbound. You have no one staffing you customer telephone line. Your web page prompt concerning the hotel did not respond as indicated.”

• Cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in! Kudos to housekeeping!
• I'd recommend firmer pillows.

“Free cookies and candy greet you when you arrive, along with a well-informed and helpful staff. After checking in with the attentive front desk staff, you arrive to a a spotless room. It was a pleasure to stay in a hotel where the staff truly cared about its guests and their comfort.”
