• Room is new and pleasant  refurbished.
• Poor lobby and restaurant.

“Location is not good. Internet wasn't working properly and no help from staff.”

• Historic building with loads of character.
• Second floor was in need of paint.

“This hotel reflected all the historical architecture that I like when traveling to foreign countries. I was fascinated by the 12 foot ceilings and detailing in the public areas. The hotel is being renovated and our room and public sitting area needed painting badly. Overall, I was delighted with the entire experience.”

• Location was excellent an the staff was very professional and helpful.
• The room we got was large but it had only one window facing and inner and ugly portion of the building.

“The hotel has a good location near the center of town and located near two Subway stops. The staff is very professional and helpful. The room was large and recently remodeled. However, the hotel has an odd mix of modern and traditional architecture with the elegant decor on most floors and entry, rooms and dining room modern. The hotel was very clean and the buffet breakfast was very good. With the exception of our room having only one window facing and inner portion of the building I was very pleased with the experience and would come back.”

• Beautiful hotel, 4th and 5th floors recently renovated.
• Service could be better. No irons in rooms.

“The Golden Tulip Savory is a great deal. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Great breakfast (coffee is fabulous!). No irons available for guest use. Hotel has an ironing service available for a price. Water temperature in shower was unpredictable, as was the pressure.”

• Breakfast was good.
• Bad customer service.

“Definitely not a 4 or 3 stars that they claimed to be. The room was big but the customer service was less than desirable. No iron nor ironing board, and they had an attitude when I asked for one. Will not go back.”

• Clean, spacious, friendly staffs.
• Wifi internet was unstable.

“This hotel is good value for the money. The staffs are very friendly. It¿s located at downtown and very convenient. The room is quite spacious and very clean. I would recommend friends or colleague to this hotel.”

• Hotel staff were wonderful. Laundry service extraordinary.
• Location. Area is seedy, busy and very commercial.

“The hotel is depressing. Our room was large and our air-conditioner functioned. Halls were hot. Rooms had just the bare necessities, But fresh linens were on the bed every day and towels were fresh twice a day. The included breakfast was adequate. ”
