• The front desk sold tram tickets.
• The location was awful, the rooms were like worn-out dorms and the towels were old, thin and scratchy.

“This hotel is in the far East of Berlin. And although Berlin has a great transport system, it takes you a good half-hour/45 mins to get to anywhere you want to be. Which means popping back to the hotel to drop things off or take a quick nap is impossible. I have no idea why this is listed as a 4 star. The garish rooms are like dormatories, a bit dirty, the amenities were never replaced during the week, and very thin, translucent curtains let all the sunlight into our east facing room early every morning. The towels were worn, thin, and scratchy. The staff, however, were friendly and helpful, but that realy didn't do much to improve the rather disapointing and depressing stay.”

• Hotel staff, comfort, convenient to good public transport.
• Wireless not free, restaurant a little pricey, a little far out.

“Overall I was very pleased with it. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly; the room was clean and had almost everything I¿ve found in four-star hotels. The hotel didn't have too much around it, but during the day it didn't matter because a transport station was just around the corner.”

• The staff was very welcoming and helpful; the rooms were clean and inviting.
• I did not like that the location was not in the center of town, but it was very close to transportation sources.

• Clean, nice rooms.
• Front reception was very rude, said would only extend checkout time by one hour if we paid 15 EURO.

“Nice hotel, but being asked to pay 15 EUROS just to check out 1 hour later was unacceptable. The front desk clerk was very rude about it. Really turned me off of the hotel.”

• First rate hotel, very clean, comfortable, staff very helpful.
• Nothing.

“Excellent choice, large room, very clean and comfortable, down pillows and covers, even a magnifying mirror in bath, good location once you get the hang of the Berlin metro system, 24-hour restaurant around the corner was very convenient and the price was remarkably low for a first rate hotel like this one.”
