• Location.
• TV did not work on English speaking channels.

“The location is great, but I had problems here. Sheets had to be replaced because they had blood on them when I checked in. AC did not work properly. TV never worked.”

• The staff made us feel very welcome and were anxious to be of service in any way.
• Water from the shower flooded the bathroom unless we blocked it with a towel.

“I cannot say enough good things about the Victoria Park Plaza. It is around the corner from Victoria Station, which makes it easy to get to the underground. It is also in a nice little neighborhood with a few places for breakfast and dinner, as well as a few pubs and a Starbucks. The hotel has a small cafe in it as well as a restaurant. Our room was spacious, clean and the housekeeping staff was friendly. All staff members we encountered were friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay there again.”

• The hotel is located 1 min from railway and underground stations. The decor of the room was warm and inviting.
• The bathroom smelled strongly of urine.

“Overall, the hotel is in a great location and is inviting. The hotel offers a great facility with in house gym. The rooms are comfortable and for the most part, clean. In my room, however, the carpets were stained and the bathroom smelled of urine.”

• The decor was very modern as were the bathrooms.
• The people at the reservation desk had thick accents (non English).

“This hotel is in a prime location since it is next to the Victoria Station. Great for any arrivals from Gatwick as Victoria Station is the home base for the Gatwick Express rail line. The decor is very modern (neon lighting in the elevators, suspended glass sinks in bathrooms, large spacious bathrooms) The front desk is very helpful (They secured difficult theatre tickets for us for a good price ) The location and accommodations made our trip to London very enjoyable.”

• Spacious rooms with several amenities
• Did not appreciate modern-style decor

“The Victoria Park Plaza is a very modern hotel convenient to (witihin 5 minutes of) Victoria Station. It would not have been my first choice of hotels; however, I was very pleased overall considering the wonderful rate I got. The room was failry clean although there were some stains on the walls and dirt underneath the glass on the furniture. I appreciated the amenitities such as an ice machine, safe, and American-style outlets. The staff was friendly although I had limited encounters with them. I did not dine at the hotel so I cannot comment on this aspect.”
