“Although descriptions indicated a pool, it was drained and under construction. As we had young children with us, it would have been a deal breaker if we had known. The hotel did show compassion and supplied passes for local city pools which was some consolation.”

• We enjoyed the River view and the Historical buildings.

• It was centrally located right by all the major attractions.
• The pool was a little dingy, but they are in the midst of a renovation.

“The hotel was very nice - the rooms had been recently upgraded and were nice. The sleep number beds were an attractive touch until you actually slept on them. The novelty soon wore off as I tossed & turned uncomfortably all night. The kids loved the pool although it was very old & in need of repair, which by the signs, they were in the middle of. I would stay again the staff was accommodating to all of our room requests and once all the upgrades are completed it will be one of the better hotels in the city. I'll just have to find the right sleep number I guess!”

• The bar and restaurant were excellent, good food and fun.
• The front desk, lady was rude on check in.

“Very nice, we didn't even bother eating elsewhere as we had planned because the bar and restaurant (connected) were so good feeling and excellent food.”
