• Friendly, helpful staff, excellent amenities.
• Nearby construction, limited clothes storage, poor air conditioning.

“This is an excellent hotel by any measurement. Convenient location, friendly helpful staff, good restaurants, etc. Limited clothes storage in the room, a tiny dresser taking up half of the small closet, construction noise and associated traffic inconvenience nearby, air conditioning that seemed to have a mind of it's own, and a daily throng of people standing in the lobby. In all my travels I have never seen such a mob of people waiting. Waiting for something but what. From early morning to mid evening the front lobby is inundated with people. I'm guessing that the Hotel motto at one time was: "Come stand here and bring your friends".”

• Walking distance from train station and Lo Wu centre
• Overpriced for Shenzhen and very tired looking rooms.

“My sister and I recently stayed at this hotel. Location is fantastic however it was under major renovation at the time with no discount on the rate for the major inconvenience. Rooms Ok but nothing special. After much haggling we managed to get upgraded to a Horizons Club room. Not sure where the nightly rate quoted comes from but the cheapest rooms are about US$150 per night. Shangri-La hotels in Hong Kong far superior.”
