• Comfort of beds was second to none.
• Dealt with a nasty reservations clerk over the phone.

“This was an exceptional hotel for what I paid. The room was well appointed; small details even in the bathroom were nice. Front desk made changes to accommodate non-smoking for me. Quite enjoyed my stay. Parking is tough though, even with a small car. Spaces are small and hard to get into.”

“I quite liked the hotel, however there were loud people on our floor that were excessivly loud between 2-4 am that the staff of the hotel did not deal with when complaints were made.”

“I was pleased with my stay at the Radisson. Front desk service was helpful and cheery. Given that KW is a compact city, proximity of the hotel from attractions is not an issue. I intend to stay there again.”

• Great view from 11th. floor.
• Had trouble getting cold water from bathroom faucet last day. When we told girl checking out she said she would have it fixed.

“Hotel staff were very efficient and professional and seemed to be able to make suggestions. Pool was very clean and we were the only ones in it for over an hour in the afternoon Tuesday. Sleep number beds were a nice attraction and the view to the west from eleven stories up was superb.”

• Our room was next to a hospitality suite for a girls basketball team and we had to change rooms after 10:00 pm because of noise.

• Safe, easy to find, close to the 401, 3 restaurants next door.
• View is average.

“The Radisson offers comfortable, numbered beds, a great bathroom, coffee and tea included in the room. Except for some noise by the room next door during the first night, it was quiet. The bedroom was large with a good working area. Internet is provided for free.”

• I liked the underground parking and in-house coffee.
• Room temperature was too warm and we were charged for long distance calls made with a calling card when we were told we would not be charged..

• Convenient check-in and check-out times, great bed (sleep number), and friendly staff.
• Map of local attractions was out of date, no balcony.

“My husband and I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The foyer is nice, the place is very clean, and the sleep number bed was comfortable. We ate next door at Del Dente - great service and lots of variety on the menu. Good atmosphere all around, we forgot we were only in Kitchener (no offense).”

“The extra touches were wonderful, treat basket for our anniversary and personal card. Very nice. Room was clean, bed and bedding very comfortable. Good value.”

• The sleep number beds were great.
• Breakfast buffet wasn't very good.

“The rooms were very spacious and clean, the staff was friendly, and the sleep number beds were awesome. The only downfall was a pricey breakfast buffet. The eggs were rubbery and cold and the coffee wasn't that great either.”

• Room next door had room service at 2:30 am. They were loud.

• No breakfast, charges nickels and dimes even for local calls, no wireless internet.

“Decent rooms, good location, no wireless internet. The room rent does not include breakfast. Make sure you have a non smoking room if you are a nonsmoker. We had to upgrade to nonsmoking suite.”

• It was clean, the bed was comfortable and the parking was close.
• Not very many amenities (although we didn't need much!).

“This hotel was clean, staff was friendly and we really had a wonderful sleep! The beds were excellent. It is not the most attractive hotel that we have stayed in, but it was quite nice. Definitely would stay again because I think it is the best in Kitchener!”

• Good internet access, helpful staff, clean, quiet, beds ok, had a fridge, ok TV, pretty good room, elevators that were prompt, liked the apples.
• Like to have morning take-away coffee available in lobby.

“Nice property, with friendly staff. My room was quiet and the internet access (which offered option of dial-up high speed or wireless) worked flawlessly. Had a functional desk and chair. Having a fridge in the room was a bonus. The room temperature controls worked and could be controlled in room. I would definitely stay at this property again.”

• Very comfortable bed and nicely furnished room.
• Non guest teenage girls screaming in the pool.

“Check in was smooth, parking no problem, but teenage girls screaming in the pool, making it impossible to use for adults. Later one of the girls cut herself and needed help, and then all 4 walked in the neighborhood, I guess not guest, but spoiling it for guests. The room was nice, location good, would stay there again.”

• The hotel staff were helpful and friendly from asking directions to requiring something in the room excellent staff.
• It was not a good experience, things were broken, wrong name on account on TV, lots of noise in the halls.

“The overall hotel was not really good. our coffee maker didn't work the first morning, the 2nd morning while they were good in replacing it. the coffee creamers were bad so we couldn't have one. Heard people in the halls in the middle of the night and just anytime. It was noisy. It's a very nice hotel, but I think they aren't attending to the small things. oh and the sleep number bed (great to try it!) didn't' work ,but they fixed it for the 2nd night too. So the staff were wonderful though. Not sure if the breakfast was complementary or not but we didn't' even know they had a continental breakfast till we were leaving. Oh and lastly, because I forgot to request one bed, the room was cramped. We have stayed in two bed rooms before but not as cramped. IT sounds like we didn't like it but it was ok because it was very clean. That's very important to us.”

• Close to hwy entrance, having two queen size beds.
• Too much noises from hwy traffic, carpet is dirty, lobby is too small.

“It's like a 1.5 star hotel, instead of 2.5 one. There is too much hwy traffic even in midnight. The traffic noise is huge. It's very hard to fall in sleep in that noise.”

• Assigned room furnishings and location.

“We were assigned a room right across from the elevator which was noisy even though the room was on the 10th floor. The furnishings were dirty and gave the room an overall unpleasant atmosphere. The beds did not give us a good impression, but in the end, they were comfortable. When I complained about the room, I was told the hotel was completely full, and another room could not be assigned. She asked me what she could do for me I asked her for two complementary breakfasts, which she immediately gave me coupons for. So, I felt I was fairly treated.”

“This hotel is near everything, food, shopping and fun. The hotel staff is really friendly and hotel is nice. The beds are really nice and I loved the pillows. So much I ended up buying two for my bedroom.”
