• Friendly staff.
• Pool was smaller.

• Perfect location. You could walk to restaurants, bars, beach, activities and the center of town. The continental breakfast was very good.
• Power went out daily but that was Belize not just this hotel.

“Perfect location, right on the beach. The water taxi is at the edge of the pier along with a local bar. Within walking distance of restaurants, bars, local market and shops. Very nice staff. Free filtered water for the guests. You could plan your activities with the hotel if you wish. We booked our internal flight and rented a golf cart with the hotel without a problem. The room we stayed in was quiet. Very happy with this hotel. I would go again and certainly recommend it.”

• Clean room, good staff and nice pool.
• Our swim shoes were stolen from our doorstep.

“My husband and I visited Ambergris Caye for the first time. The staff was constantly cleaning the entire time we were there. One employee offered us fresh coconut juice, fresh from the tree outside the hotel. Our room was always clean and very comfortable.”

• Good pineapples in the mornings.
• Green pool, not clean.

“Blue Tang was a huge disappointment! Green pool. Ocean view blocked by palm trees, and an owner more interested in sailing with his buddies than dealing with the guests.”
