“I thought this was a nice hotel. However, it lacked food choices and there was nothing for children. The pool was not open for the season yet in July. The location was wonderful and the staff was helpful.” Apr 7, 2008 by
Jay from Las Vegas, NV
“The hotel is quite nice and close to bus stops and the palace. We were stuck in a room which has not been renovated. The interior was quite 80's.” Dec 3, 2007 by
Anthony from Ny, NY
“The hotel was very nice and luxurious. The staff was great, but they have to work on the morning buffet's more.” Jun 1, 2007 by
Sean from Lilburn, GA
“This was a really nice place. The staff was excellent and the grill restaurant we ate at was top notch. Though it's kind of far to walk to a bus or train station, they make up for it by having taxi's on call and a free shuttle bus to the train station. The room was plenty big (queen bed and a sofa area) and clean. Not much of a view, but I can't imagine too many places in this area that do, it's in the middle of the city.” Mar 4, 2007 by
Ivan from Vancouver, BC CA
“The Brighton is good value for what you pay. The rooms are spacious. It is in a quiet area, and you will need to take a taxi to areas to shop. The hotel does have nice restaurants, with some more reasonably priced than others. The restaurant my wife and I went to served Italian food that was tasty. Another plus was the unlimited video programming that was available for about $10.00 per night, although the selection was a bit limited. Overall, if I were to go to Kyoto again, I would stay here again!” Hotel Representatives:
