• Friendly staff.
• Location.

“Hotel is good value for price, staff is friendly, breakfast is good. Rooms are ok, typical Holiday Inn Express rooms. However, location is bad -- even if the postal address is Cambridge, you'll need a car or taxi to get anywhere around town.”

• Worn carpet.

“We stayed 1 night at this hotel with 2 children, aged 12 and 9 when visiting Cambridge (we were students there). Our room has a double bed, a sofa bed and the degree of comfort for the bed is a 7 out of 10. The room and bathroom is clean. But the carpet in the room has stains and is worn. We had a car so the location was convenient. The hotel offers free parking and basic service. A basic breakfast is also included for free. It served us well for our purpose.”

• Clean, good staff overall, decent food.
• Inconvenient location, it is not city centre as you falsely advertise it to be!

“This place isn't bad overall. However, it is located near the Cambridge airport so there is some noise from that. It is a 30-40 minute walk to city centre, or a 10-15 minute walk and then a 2 pound bus ride that's another 10-15 minutes. However, true city centre hotels are quite expensive, and this place isn't a bad deal. I'd stay again.”

• We had a large and very nicely furnished room and bath.
• The breakfast was minimal in quality.
