“This is definitely not a 4 star! I'm staying often at Marriott or Hiltons. No comparison!” Mar 27, 2008 by
Romelle from North Oaks, MN
“Rooms are done in dark woods and a simple cream/tan/brown decor. Very comfortable beds. Operable windows. Spotlessly clean. Close to Tram Lines 4 and 6, and they connect to the Metro, so you can quickly get anywhere in Budapest. A pleasant walk to the Tram past a great little bakery. Off main streets, so very quiet. Staff spoke good English and was all helpful and friendly.” Mar 26, 2008 by

“This is a very standard, 2 star hotel, similar to a Hampton Inn. The rooms are very small, in no way luxurious, but perfectly clean. There is no way this is a 4 star hotel on the level of the Marriott. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to a metro and then 3 metro stops just to get into the central part of the city. Horrible location for sightseeing. Showering was a miserable experience as the water went from burning to freezing constantly. The fire alarm (false alarm) also went off at 5:00 am one morning, requiring my family to leap up and run down 7 flights of stairs. No explanation or apology given by staff. Would never stay here again. Very disappointed.” Jul 23, 2007 by

“Clean, pleasant surroundings with very courteous and helpful staff.” Jun 30, 2007 by
Maria from Cumming, GA
“Ramada is located in a quiet area. It could be a little bit closer to the public transportation. Boraros Ter, the tram and HEV station is about eight minutes walk. We did not try its restaurant but saw other tourists eat there. Across the hotel there is a small pub where you can eat lunch or dinner for reasonable price. The food is excellent! The staff members at the hotel speak English and are very friendly.” Sep 7, 2006 by
Michael from Brooklyn, NY
“The Ramada is very clean and under a 10 minute walk to the subway. The room was very big. The bed was comfortable but the pillows to me were way too hard. The bathroom was also a bit annoying because the shower had a panel of glass only covering half the bathtub. If you moved from under the water, you would get cold.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 2, 2006 by

“The staff was great, Ester was the best person working there!” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
