“This Hotel was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in let alone in Montego Bay Jamaica. If it were not for the hotel owner I would have had the worst experience here. First of all the receptionist was beyond rude making inappropriate comments to me and my friends after we were just robbed just below the hotel. You would think she and the staff would have been understanding and sympathetic to us yet she laughed at our misfortune. The hotel was completely open to whoever and whatever may come. The shower did not always work. The view was somewhat OK but very poor all the same. The TV was a very small 12 inch set that received about 3 channels. The maids were always sitting around and I believe one of the ladies was flirting with my husband. If anyone should stay here and I highly recommend you do not please please be careful going up the hill. This hotel appealed to us only for the fact that it was cheaper and available at the time we were going but to be honest all the trouble was not worth saving a few bucks.” Aug 1, 2007 by

“I was fooled by the star rating of the hotel. Bed was poor. Old and dilapidated furniture. Poor locks. Dirty pool.” Nov 5, 2006 by

“This is an old, un-upgraded hotel. The staff was nice, but the room was poorly lighted, poorly furnished, and - in a word - decrepit It was reasonably clean, but the locks on the balcony door weren't functioning properly, the ceiling fan made a lot of noise, and the tub was so narrow that one was wrestling with the shower curtain to try to find the soap. The advertised restaurant and bar didn't seem to exist - room service was provided by some unknown nearby provider, but the food was rather strange and poorly presented. The staff was really the only bright spot.” Sep 16, 2006 by

“The only problem was with ventilation of sewer. the fumes came from the kitchen. I kept the door closed. there are no coffee pots anywhere. Montego bay club resort doesn't have any either.” Mar 13, 2006 by

“The Blue Harbor Hotel is snugly nestled on a hill overlooking Monte go Bay. Nicely secluded, it offers a quiet setting for guests desiring a break from the hustle and bustle of their daily lives. Visitors may be awakened to the cheerful chirping of morning birds and drift to sleep caressed by gentle trade winds. The rooms are impeccably cleaned, the staff is unfailingly reliable and their service is efficient and friendly. While room furnishings are fundamental, all guest needs are more than satisfactorily accommodated. I would definitely stay at the Blue Harbor Hotel, again.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Nov 25, 2005 by
