“Out of tourist area but at end of red line so it's easy start point for touring.” Nov 17, 2007 by
Arndo from Seattle, WA
“This is a bit too far from Paris. There is absolutely nothing in the area after 5 pm on weekdays and even less on weekends. The hotel restaurant was closed on Saturday night.” Jul 28, 2007 by
Lucinda from Lake Geneva, WI
“This hotel was a delightful haven to return to after a busy day. There was lots of hot water, a nice strong shower, and a big comfortable bed. Though it might have been nice to be closer to the center of Paris, I appreciated the hotel's cleanliness and efficiency. The proximity of a grocery store, bakery, and RER station made it very accommodating. The staff was gracious. If I return to Paris, I will probably stay here again.” May 2, 2006 by
Steve from Sun City, AZ
“The hotel was clean and very close to subway exit, though a bit out of the center of the city. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful even though I didn't speak French. (I had heard rumors the Parisians were not so friendly to non-French speakers.)” Nov 3, 2005 by
Ryan from Woodbury, CT
“The rooms were very clean, nice, and the hotel is right on the RER line which will take you into the city in nine minutes. Pros: Safe, Clean, Nice Staff, On top of the RER line, Nanterre is a great little town with some restaurants right outside of the hotel, a Franprix which is a little cheap grocery story, a bread shop, and a tabac. Cons: the only problem we had was we had to switch rooms because this hotel is in two buildings and one closes on the weekends so the switched us.” Sep 12, 2005 by
Scott from Berkeley, CA
“The check-in staff was helpful and accomodating. Rooms were furnished more nicely than the average European 3* hotel, and the room's climate control system worked well. The suburban location of the hotel was counterbalanced by the quietness of the neighborhood and the excellent proximity to a rail station. We were very pleased with our stay here.” Jul 25, 2005 by
David from Apo, NY
“We thought this was an excellent hotel for the price. Would stay there again.” Jun 28, 2005 by
Jeffrey from Dallas, TX
“I woke in the morning to 2 inches of water in my bathroom and no electricity - TERRIBLE” May 22, 2005 by
Jim from Bradenton, FL
“Service was pleasant and helpful, next door to the subway (RER)- but a ways out. Room was good -about a 3* in USA. Would stay there again. Bakery and grocery store next door as well as a few resturants.” Apr 18, 2005 by
Shelley from Rock Hill, SC
“This hotel has an extremely convenient placement among a market, pastry shop, sandwich shop and Italian restaurants. However, I wish I had known that it was just one stop outside the city zone for the metro stations. It was still cheaper than staying in the city, but we had to buy special tickets that would put us on suburban trains...just to go ONE stop past the zone. We still saved money, the staff was friendly and bi-lingual, and the hotel was very quiet...something you DON'T get in downtown Paris--I've stayed both places.” Mar 31, 2005 by
Gene from Vancouver, CA
“Overall, this hotel is nice esp for the price I paid for. Location is a little bit off but its only 10 minutes away from Champ D'Elysee via RER. Staff is helpful and great. However, there is no shower curtains in the bathroom, water easily splashes out everywhere meaning the use of all the available towels. No fridge in the room makes the supermarket downstairs not much of use if you're staying on Sunday and bank holidays. Its April and the room is freaking hot! I wonder what happens where summer comes around. Where is the A/C?” Jan 17, 2005 by
Jason from Fort Leonard Wood, MO
“Hotel was fine, there was a strong smell of oranges in the hallways of the 6th floor (where I stayed) which was a bit obnoxious I believe it was some kind of carpet cleaner. Other then that and having to pay for parking the hotel was nice.” Dec 22, 2004 by
Mona M. from Columbus “This was a great hotel. The staff very helpful, rooms big (by EU standards) and clean. The only problem it did not have a coffee maker in the room and the 220v plug in the Bathroom did not work. Its a good location.” Hotel Representatives:
