“We were fortunate to have attended one of the balls given during the season. this was November. Our room beautiful. with a fireplace, looking out to the gardens and the big blackbirds wintering there from Russia. To see young people dancing the waltz and the polka with one orchestra, and in another ballroom enjoying the dances currently in vogue, showed us that the Austrians remain a classic people. The Austrian food was delicious. Of course, the service excellent. they are professionals. I would love to return one day, just to feel and know that I am in a very special place.”
