“Excellent. Easy access to Metro and bus stations. Clean. Hotel Staff was extremely courteous and helpful during our March 08 Mexico City visit. We were so pleased that we returned to the Marco Polo again after visiting Puebla for a couple of days! Breakfast quality and restaurant staff could improve.” Aug 24, 2007 by

“I stayed in this Hotel during our honeymoon, and it was definitely good value for money (we got one of their weekend rates). Staff was nice and everything was very clean. Unfortunately, my husband got very sick during our stay. So, two warnings: Don't use the international call service! We were informed it was about one USD/minute, now the credit card bill has arrived and it is over 80 euro (I had to phone twice to the travel insurance, total 15minutes)! The hotel doctor charged us 4500Mex pesos for the 4am visit and two injections, the worst was having to leave at this time to the ATM, he would not consider putting in on the hotel bill or giving him the money later at the hospital. It was a scary experience for a young woman.” Jul 18, 2006 by

“I stayed at the MPH for 9 days and felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman the whole time. MPH offers world class service and is an excellent value for anyone who stays here.” Jun 26, 2006 by

“The overall rating is excellent except for the fact that all employees pretty much have access to your room and will go into your room even if you are not there, unfortunately I was the victim of my room being robbed of money I had left next to my suitcase on the bed, of course a report was made by management, but cameras only monitor the hallways and elevators, so if someone enters the room unauthorized or just to "check" on a guest it is my word against theirs. I should have known better as it is Mexico City, and unfortunately I felt assured my things were protected while inside my room especially since it was the penthouse suite, but I definitely learned a valuable lesson and even though this incident occurred I do recommend this hotel but with a word of precaution to not take any jewelry or large amounts of money and even then secure them very well.” 2 of 3 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
