• The studio rooms are like being "home" on the Island.
• Some linoleum tiles need repair or re-gluing. Edges are coming up.

“We've stayed here before and would definitely stay again. I love the studio living, with fully equipped kitchen. It's relaxed, comfortable and homey.”

• Kitchen area gave us freedom to prepare snacks; free high-speed internet.
• One ceiling fan was not working (but A/C was) in our room.

“With a full kitchen. Internet access and access to a lovely beach and pool, this hotel is a wonderful find for families.”

• It was in Kona, HI.
• Hotel is of cheap construction and needs replacement.

• The room was like an apartment with everything you may need.
• 3 miles from kolas main strip means you want a rental car.

“You probably want a car with you if youre not excited about walking a few miles to the main strip. But if youre a surfer, there is a good spot right next to the hotel when the waves go off and a surf shop w/ rentals. Also, the room is all set up for you to stay the week big couch, arc. TV, DVD player, a dock for your I-pod, big fridge, stove, microwave, cups, plates, etc. It's like an apartment!”

• Unhelpful staff and lobby closed in the morning.

“Went to checkout and it was all locked up. Vie never heard of a hotel front desk that is not always open. Girl at front desk was very unhelpful when we asked for things, towels, information, etc. Also hotel website says rooms have 2 beds, we got stuck w/ a studio w/ only one bed.”

• Grounds were well kept. Room coffee very good.
• House keeping did not service room.

“I would never stay there again if I had the choice. The bed spread looked as if it hadn't been washed in a year. The water heater was too small, not enough for 1 very warm shower. Room coffee good but only complimentary for first night. Most hotels will give you at least one packet of coffee per night free.”

• We loved the set up of the room itself! Loved the stainless appliances!
• Our room didn't have a view.

“Overall this was a great place to stay and we enjoyed the room! It was much updated and was better than we even expected! If we were to go back to the same area, we would definitely be tempted to stay at the same place again!”

• Away from main strip in Alii Dr. Drive 5 minutes.

• Let¿s just say our room made me wants to look into staying there for the whole summer next year.
• Our stay was too short. We didn't want to leave.

“The room felt like an apartment. It was very clean and well equipped. The front desk clerk was very helpful and when she couldn't answer one of my questions, she got on the phone to get me an answer. Did not hear the other guests. Also has a convenient little store on the property.”

• It was actually an efficiency apt which we loved, clean, cute, comfortable.
• Regret only staying 1 night, should have stayed longer.

“We expected to only have a room and were very surprised to find that we had a very lovely efficiency with everything that we would need including dishes, pots, pans and even cleaning supplies. We had a lanai which had a view of the ocean. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

• View; in 2 bed units, master is on the water; close to town.
• Carpet in outside walkways needs replacing, once you enter your unit, it doesn't matter.

“We rented a 2 bedroom oceanfront through a private owner (gaylescondo@hotmail.com). The unit was gorgeous, view awesome, and we really felt like home, the turtles are there too. Our unit was far superior to others, check with private owners and ask for pictures.”

• Great ambiance, lovely view, perfect quiet atmosphere.
• Had to change rooms from original booking. Second room was perfect.

• Free wireless (only around the lobby area). Pay washer/dryers available.
• Walls are very thin creating a noisy environment.

“We enjoyed the hotel. The room we stayed in had a small kitchen and full size fridge allowing us to store breakfast and snacks. We were right on the road though and loud trucks and bikers did wake us up a few times. Overall it was a pleasurable experience.”

• The view.
• No pool, hard to find trash dumpster.

“The rooms were well stocked, great view, disappointed there was not a pool, under repair. It was a long ways to the trash receptor. We stayed in a studio and a 2 bedroom as the family got here. Parking was good.”

• Location was very near the beach and the accomodations were in line with price.
• Room we had was close to the road and we heard a great deal of traffic noise.

“Older property that is on the ocean. Many rooms would have an excellent view. No beach at the property and pool is small.”
