“I was thrilled to awaken and find the pool out our back door. The beautiful beach was just past the pool. Coconut Market Place is right in front for shopping and there are several choices of dining.” Mar 23, 2008 by
Donna A. from Salt Lake City, UT
“Had a wonderful time touring the island. The receptionist was so helpful. She pulled out a map and informed us of places to visit and named several good restaurants. I wish I knew her name just to say a personal thank you. She made our visit so enjoyable since she passed on to us what to see. The people in Hawaii are so friendly and polite. I will return for another visit in a year or two.” Mar 11, 2008 by
Anon from Nederland, CO
“Great Central Island location in a town that was a perfect mix of locals & tourists: not too much of one or the other. A lot of restaurant choices near by. Easy to explore N & S from this hotel as a midpoint home base. Rated 2* b/c it's an old facility, but the grounds were very nice if you don't mind looking past the dated decor in the rooms. Staff was VERY nice, friendly and exceptionally helpful. Very clean. The pool and beach were not up to my standards (both were small & crowded), but there were some much more beautiful beaches w/in a 10-20 min drive.” Mar 4, 2008 by

“The Resort Quest Islander is in a beautiful location with generous sized rooms. The necessities and more are met in the rooms which provide a lanai, kitchenette and a comfortable place for eating, sleeping and relaxing.” Feb 26, 2008 by
Sue from Cedar, MI
“The staff were terrific, the grounds were welcoming, the pool was wonderful and beaches were excellent.” Feb 10, 2007 by
Stella from Roseville, CA
“Nice, easily accessible hotel with friendly staff and all you need for business, but not pleasure.” Feb 9, 2007 by
Darren from Roseville, CA
“Very nice outdoors lobby area - probe the best thing about the hotel. Easy access to beach. Not that romantic, however.” Jan 13, 2007 by
Josh from Lynnwood, WA
“The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a decent price compared to surrounding area. Nothing exceptional, but very nice.” Jul 7, 2006 by
Jerry from Fpo Ap, CA
“I have lived in apartments smaller than the room I got for under 200 a night. Unbelievable view close to everything. The best hotel I have ever been to bar none.” Apr 17, 2006 by
Dave from Chicago, IL
“Rooms are well worn but they are remodeling the top three floors as of 4/9/06. Nice long sandy beach.” Apr 13, 2006 by
Nathan from Tustin, CA
“Will stay here in the future. This hotel is conveniently located near Kapaa's Old Town area. The Coconut Market Place is a great amenity to this facilities.” Dec 16, 2005 by
Becky from Alliance, NE
“It was a gorgeous hotel. We spent our honeymoon there and it was a perfect choice.” Nov 21, 2005 by
Heather from Acton, MA
“The hotel was in a convenient location although it is very windy on that particular side of the island. The rooms are all renovated and have a small kitchenette. The garden view and partial ocean view rooms do not have queen or king beds. The pool area was very small and often very crowded. The service was ok. Most of the staff were very friendly, but we came across one seasoned staff member who was not very helpful. Next time, I would rather pay more and stay at a resort hotel with better service and grounds.” Nov 17, 2005 by
Timothy C. from E Taunton, MA
“Good Location, newly renovated rooms. Nice oceanfront location. Would definitely stay here again.” Nov 11, 2005 by
Janelle J. from Zimmerman, MN
“Clean, friendly, helpful, pleasant.” Oct 20, 2005 by
Rick from San Diego, CA
“We were very pleased with everything. The rooms were nice and clean and newly renovated. Big TV and remote air system were a plus. All rooms face the ocean. Loved it. Wish we would have stayed longer than the 2 days.” Jan 15, 2005 by
Steve from Fairbanks, AK
“While the location was good, I wouldn't recommend staying here. The carpet felt damp, the rooms smelled moldy, the rooms weren't cleaned very well and there were big patches of ceiling texture and paint missing. It was being remodeled for condo sale units so there was construction daily as well.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
