• The location.
• The smell in Cafe Vienna near the trees, paint fumes in hallways with no ventilation.

“Perfect for travelers unfamiliar with the area. Right in the middle of everything, food, shopping and the MTR Subway system. Extremely convenient, nice staff. Expensive buffet but there's plenty of cheaper restaurants right outside.”

• The room was spacious and clean and the staff was very pleasant and this hotel is so well situated.
• The only thing we did not like was the view from the bedroom.

“When we arrived they offered us to upgrade our bedroom to an executive bedroom, much more spacious, including breakfast and evening drinks. The extra charge was well worth it. We really enjoyed our stay and the hotel is so well located.”

• Convenient location.
• Not "user friendly".

“1. When I reserved the room on may 25th and supplied my credit card number, I was charged immediately by the agent agenda for the full amount of the stay, even though of course I had not yet arrived. We found that, regardless of the towels left on the rail, they were all changed anyway as were the bed sheets. 3. In the bathroom we had bottled water supplied each day but were not sure whether the tap water was safe to drink or to clean teeth. There was no sign in the room to indicate whether the tap water is safe to drink (potable).”

• Very good restaurants downstairs and super-centrally located within the TST...can walk to anything and near to the subway station.
• Difficult to find from the outside--hard to spot.

“Very good value for the money. Almost as nice as the Peninsula Hotel just up the street which is much more expensive. The Holiday Inn moniker doesn't suit this hotel with it's marble lobby and luxurious rooms.”

• Good location, good food, comfortable beds.
• Too many street vendors in the area.

“This a good hotel and it is convenient to the airport train and a free shuttle bus to the station. The food is very good and there is good Western style food available in the Delicatessen restaurant when you are tired of eating Chinese style food.”

• It is a good location and is very comfortable. One of the few hotels in China that has soft beds.
• Too many solicitors in the area hawking shirts, suits, fake watches etc

“I like this hotel very much. The food is good and rooms are very nice plus the beds are soft enough to get a good nights sleep unlike many Chinese hotels.”

• Rooms were beautiful and comfortable, amenities were great.
• We found the food not too good. We ate elsewhere after a couple of meals.

“Staff was wonderful, new rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Everything we needed in a hotel room. Room was very quiet. Lighting was excellent, better than any hotel I have been in. Bed side monitor was great. I would like to have one of these in my own home. We grew tired of the many hawkers that greeted every time we left the hotel. This is not your fault, but our friends said they would stay elsewhere because of this problem.”

• Location.
• Dirty carpet, dirty and stained in our room, view of only dirty building, trash, etc., from window in room.

“Good location in Tsimshatsui but better options at this price, as hotel room was dirty and hotel a bit impersonal.”

• The staff was very kind.
• Outside of window scene. Dirty neighborhood.

“With my bet it was the best choice. Especially I was satisfied with their Gym hour - from 6:00A.M. to 11:00 PM. Some of expensive hotel only offers 6:00 AM to 10:00 P.M hour.”
