• The only I liked was the balcony and the couch to sit on; the way the mirrors were in the dressing/sink area.
• It was too small and looked like an office very unromantic.

“The room was nice for a business person traveling alone! Very unromantic. Very small room. Very small bathroom. The area sink, area was nice with closet mirrors to fix my hair. The balcony was the only reason I truly liked the room if had not been so small and had not looked like an office we would stayed another night. We were there for our anniversary! We always stay with a jacuzzi tub, frig and romantic feel, that was what we got there. I thought $11 for breakfast was a way too high for what most places give you FREE.”

• Friendly staff. Nice pool and hot tub for relaxation. Clean.

“This hotel suted our needs perfectly. We needed a place to stop overnight on our way back from Florida to Ontario with our three adult children. The hotel was visually appealing and in a nice location a few minutes off the main highway. As weary travellers we were met by friendly staff who took care of our booking quickly and advised us of the amenities in the hotel. Coffee and tea were avarlable at no cost. We found the rooms clean and very comfortable. I would stay here again and would recommend this service to others.”

• Very quiet and located away from the main highway.
• The bathroom door squeaked so at night you woke others and no fan in the bathroom.

“The bed was wonderful. Fabulous pillows and a nice sized room. Parking is a bit scarce. I liked the security of having to use your room key to access all but the main lobby door. The only minor negative was that the bathroom door squeaked so loudly that it disturbed the other occupant when you had to use it at night, and there was no fan in the bathroom.

“Hotel was awesome the best designed courtyard I have ever stayed at. I have no idea why they ditched this design for the more cookie cutter ones of today. This place had an actual courtyard for relaxing and working. Only problems I found was that the maids took forever to make up the room and when they did they would only clean certain parts. For example they would never want to change sheets or vacuum. Also the internet is wired only so you are limited somewhat as to where you can work on your laptop. Also this place has no restaurant or lounge which is disappointing. So if you are like me and needed to be there for a while on business you will be resigned to your room mostly. The fitness center was also basic which is disappointing. I was there on business and there was always noise going on at random hours kids kicking the soccer ball around at night. Little kids running loose all hours of the day. Overall great place to stay but the limited amenities keep it from being a true 3 star.”

• Rooms small, main floor patio door, but no chairs outside.

“We stayed as stop over to our vacation destination. Rooms were adequate and clean, with comfortable beds and nice linens. The rooms very small though. We had to use the sleeper sofa for our child and once pulled out, it was very tight squeeze in the room. Also, the rooms had patio doors and balconies, but because we were on the main floor, facing away from the courtyard, there was no patio/chairs for us to sit out. We literally had a patch of weeds/overgrown gardens to deal with.”

“You wouldn't even know this hotel existed if you were just driving by. Tucked quietly behind lush landscaping. This Marriot Courtyard is fabulous. Beautiful manicured lobby entrance, the inside courtyards teak benches pull in for sit among beautiful flowers. Generous rooms with tempurpedic beds, European style bedding, extremely friendly & qualified staff, but it doesn't stop there. Large heated indoor pool, hot tub, workout facility, guest computer in main lobby, breakfast buffet, snack/beverage pantry & all this conveniently located near downtown Lexington. If you are in the area, you must stay a while!”

“This is a great hotel. It's in a quiet, secluded location just off a main road and very close to I-64/75. I've stayed several times and it's always very clean. All the bedding is washed after each guest, including the bedspreads. The sink is separate from the tub and shower, which is nice. I like the Tempurpedic mattresses. They have a great indoor pool and hot tub. This last stay was not one of my better ones. Before arriving, I called to make a room location request. My request was fulfilled, but the person I spoke to was rather rude. And we were given a king bed suite, which was oddly/inconveniently laid out, even though we wanted 2 queen beds. It was ok for one night, but if it had been longer, I would've gone back to the desk to request a different room. A couple of features this hotel lacks that most 2.5-star hotels provide is a free continental breakfast. They do have a breakfast buffet for $9.99/person. It looks good, but the offerings are slim. Also, the hotel does not have wireless internet. This is ok when I travel alone, but very inconvenient when there are 2 of us with our laptops and only one internet connection available. The Marriott Courtyard Lexington North caters primarily to business travelers. The rooms are small and not really designed for those who plan to spend a lot of time there. It would not be my first choice for a family vacation or an extended stay (unless I was a single traveler). However, it is still one of my favorite hotels in Lexington.”

• Very convenient. Lovely courtyard.
• Charging for the breakfast and charging a lot.

“The hotel was within 3 miles of everything I could imagine someone going to Lexington would want to do. Check in was very quick. The room was not as large as I would have expected but then we used the pull out couch also for our daughter. I had called asking for two beds or a pull out and was told no problem. Facilities and room were clean. The courtyard was lovely and peaceful. I was not happy that they charged for breakfast. And there was no sign indicating it was not included in the room price and it was expensive for the quality. Otherwise it was a perfect stay.”

• Very quiet, seemed to have good security. Well hidden off street.
• Room had 1 king size bed and my spouse & I have slept alone for 20+ years. We requested a swap for double beds and they refused and brought a rollaway.

“Our initial encounter at the check in was pitiful. We asked for 2 beds and they refused adamantly saying we had asked for 1 bed (I haven't done this in many years).”

• The beds were comfortable -tempurapedic.
• The breakfast buffet gave the impression of being included, but actually cost $10.

“Overall, very comfortable. The only carryout or delivery information in the room was for the Japanese restaurant next door, which advertised free delivery, but then refused to delivery because they had no men working that night. Generally clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.”

• I love the tempurpedic beds, and overall, it's a very nice hotel. Good atmosphere.
• When I checked in, they had me booked for the wrong room, and also, my room didn't look like it had been cleaned right, the coffee maker was dirty.

• The pool and hot tub.
• The TV had issues; the sound was screwy and we woke up a neighboring child because of it.

“The hotel is nice and comfortable. There is plenty of room to lounge by the pool or in the courtyard. The only problem we had was with the old television that did not work as it should. Also, the remote control was way too confusing for us given how tired we were from traveling.”
