• Location! This is the ideal place to be if you are in Lexington.

“The convenience of this hotel is amazing. Centrally located to allow short drives to dining or business. The location also allows for walking to shops and entertainment. The room was neat and clean, what more can a person want.”

• The staff,customer service,is attached to the concert arena with a little mini mall.
• The price for the setup of the room & no mini microwave to heat up a snack such as popcorn.

• Spotless room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, friendly staff, great location.

“We needed one night after dropping off our son for his 1st year at UK. After an exhausting day of unpacking etc. The Hyatt was a welcome respite. We were offered our choice of 2Q's or a king. We chose the king room. No view to speak of but we really did not care. The room seemed newly refurbished and was spotless. All the amenities you would expect, fridge, hair dryer, iron, etc. The bed, linens and pillows all very nice and comfortable.”

• The WiFi for the room was an additional $10 per day. Not good for business or teens.

• The location and attractiveness of the hotel.
• Poor timing for pool cleaning.

“This hotel fully met our expectations and the location was perfect for enjoying downtown Lexington. The staff chose to add routine chemicals during open pool hours rather than when the pool was closed, even though it meant asking people to clear the pool.”

• Beautiful hotel, great location, nice amenities.
• Food was overpriced and mediocre.

“Went here to finish a writing project undisturbed. Fit my needs perfectly. The free wired Internet was excellent, and the pool provided a great break for writers block. The sun deck provides a beautiful look at the mini skyscrapers of the downtown. Only issue was just slight, and rather expected, the food was way overpriced and was not above par by any means. It was good, but not that price good. And the lounge closed at 9 pm, kind of early? Overall, a very nice place to stay and get some work done.”

• The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.
• They were having an activity in Rupp Arena and their was no available free parking.

“Wonderful hotel. Check-in staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Room was spacious and very clean. Bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Parking was very limited though. Overall, excellent hotel and value.”

• Traffic at the front door during check in and out.

“This hotel is an excellent place to stay for comfort and relaxation and convenience to Rupp Arena. I was there for UK graduation and staying here was extremely convenient. I would recommend staying at this hotel to all my friends and families and using priceline whenever possible.”

• Too noisy and housekeeping staff arrived too early.

“A great hotel in a convenient location to the downtown area. However the walls seem to be paper thin. I got no sleep at all because of the loud TV in the next room. Hotel security made them turn down the sound at 3:30 am, but it was back on at 5:00 am. Housekeeping was knocking on my door too early and I could hear them yell housekeeping for at least five doors down the hall. Doors were slamming all night. I would have gotten more sleeping my car.”

• The hotel was close to my to my grandchildren.

“A number of years ago we lived in the Lexington area and this hotel was the one to go to. It was especially the place to go to for Sunday brunch. Then when our youngest son graduated from Seminary we went there to celebrate, and the hotel food was a disaster. I was greatly surprised to find the upgrade of the hotel in general. I would go back again.”

“This hotel was right in the center of town, convenient to everything. The rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed with comfortable beds. The staff was uniformly friendly, helpful and professional. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I return to Lexington.”

• Slippery floor in entrance area.

“This center of Lexington Hotel has easy access to the city. Parking was convenient and the restaurant was great for breakfast. There are a number of good dining choices within a short walk. Lexington is a nice old city but a little down at the heels, The hotel is connected to the Rupp Arena and convention center. Rooms were completely redone and very nice albeit with small bathrooms. Fitness center was up to date and luxury standard. Staff was friendly but not as service oriented as major city standard perhaps appropriate for the South. Good value.”

• The parking is across the street.

“Even though there was some construction activity it did not interfere with our stay. The bar area is very inviting and the overall hotel is beautiful. Self parking is outside across the street. We arrived after dark but felt safe and noticed they had security in the parking area.”

• The location, amenities and nearby shopping were great.
• The room size was smaller than expected.

“I would definitely stay at this hotel again, however, the room sizes are small but the amenities are very nice. Close to restaurants, downtown shopping and it's the closest to the University of KY Campus.”

• The decor was extraordinary! And the staff was very helpful and friendly.
• What's not to like? LOL we loved it!

• Sheet stains, renovations, inconvenient pool location.

“The room was not cleaned well as I found sheet stains upon our arrival, left them in plain site the next morning and they had been covered up when I returned. The pool was located in a far corner of the hotel, down a steep flight of steps that my parents could not navigate. The complimentary coffee was always empty. Due to this hotel's proximity to the Rupp Arena, there was a lot of tourist foot traffic in the lobby. Not up to Hyatt standards, but a good for the price.”

• Pay for movie channel was not working, room refrigerator made too much noise.
