• It was clean.
• Breakfast was not great it could be better, and the half pillows was for the birds and uncomfortable.

• Rooms were
  comfortable and spacious.
• Decor a little worn, needs updating.

“This hotel was very clean, with nice-sized rooms and comfortable furnishings. The rooms were fairly quiet - we did not hear noises from any other rooms, although we did hear people in the hallway. The lobby was decorated very festively for the holiday season. The breakfast selection was adequate for a continental-style, especially considering the low price for the room. It is conveniently located just off the expressway, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance.”

• Liked the continental breakfast. Friendly staff and the location
• Pool was a bit on the dirty side and very poor lighting. Comforter on bed was very stiff, rooms a little over sprayed with air freshener.

“Convenient to the interstate, restaurants, and shopping. The room itself was decent. Comforter was very stiff for some odd reason, like someone had gotten carried away with the spray starch. Small fitness room but nice with good equipment. Pool seemed a little on the dirty side. When you look at the bottom it was a little brown in places. Very poor lighting in pool area. Continental breakfast was great. Staff was very nice and helpful. Overall good experience.”

• Stayed there on 08/06/08, very clean room, non smoking room.
• Stayed there on 08/22/08, smoking room burn holes in comforter, carpet was dirty.

• Room.

“When we arrived the first room we were put in was dirty. One of the beds was unmade, there was still trash in the wastebasket and the towels were carelessly thrown on the rack. We went to the front desk and they offered to put us in another room. The second room was fine but nothing really outstanding.”

• The check in clerk changed my room to the side opposite the interstate, which ran behind the inn.
• It was rundown and worn looking from lack of general maintenance.

• Location to downtown Lexington and close shopping, restaurants.
• Smells funny.

“Hotel was fine for staying. Nothing super fancy about it. Close to downtown and shopping and restaurants. good enough area to stay in safely. It just smelled a little funny like some older hotels do.”

• Pool, breakfast, staff was awesome, location.
• Nothing to dislike.

“Very nice, well kept hotel with great staff. Got free continental breakfast, clean pool and hot tub. Located right off the highway, close to our destinations. Located right next to Hustler Hollywood and many gas stations and restaurants.”

• Had an indoor pool and hot tub.
• The yellow/gold decor was not pretty.

“The room I stayed in had stains all over the carpet and smelled of cigarette smoke. I was never asked if I wanted a smoking or non-smoking room. This might be due to the new hire working the desk. The breakfast that was offered consisted of a hard boiled egg, cereal, muffins, toast and various toppings for those food items. There is hot coffee always offered in their breakfast room.”

“This Comfort Inn looked nice from the outside and the entrance. However, it was in need of some paint, new carpet (bad), and at least run the sweeper. Overall I was very disappointed.”

“The hotel was clean and nicer than I thought it would be. The staff was not very helpful. When I called to request extra pillows, they told me I had to come get them. I'm not used to having to wait on myself at a hotel. Otherwise we enjoyed our room and our stay.”

“When I got to the rooms, there was only one single bed. In past stays it has been possible to change rooms for no charge. At this hotel, the person at the desk told me that if I had asked for double rooms while checking in, I could have avoided the $10 per room charge. They told me that I should ask in the morning about getting the money back. The manager in the morning was completely unfriendly and unreasonable.'”

“I was not happy with the Comfort Inn Lexington staff. My stay consisted of 2 nights, day 2 we noted that our towels and washcloths had not been re-supplied. My husband stopped at the front desk and asks could these items be sent up. The desk clerk told him to find a housekeeping staff and let them know what we needed! On the way back to our room, my husband did find a housekeeping employee and ask for the needed items, he was instructed that they would bring the towels and washcloths to our room. 30 minutes later, still no towels or washcloths! I called housekeeping, no answer, and then I called the front desk to let someone know we still were waiting for towels and washcloths (check out was 11am and at 9:50am we still was unable to take our showers). The desk clerk informed me that she did not tell my husband she would bring us the needed items, but to find an housekeeping person and get it from them! I told the desk clerk he did what she instructed him to do and we have been waiting over 30 minutes and still no one has brought us the requested items. And we should not be having this conversation, because these items should have been replaced the day before when housekeeping cleaned our room!”

“I was highly disappointed with my room. When I got to my hotel I had to pay additional charges that I had never had to pay before. The staff was extremely rude and expressed no wrong doing and demanded the charges were due immediately.”
