• Mold in bathroom, leaking tub faucet, dust on the six panel doors the bedding generally old and worn out.

• Very nice manager.
• Room smelled like rotten eggs, a dog crapped in the hall outside our door.

“We got the worst room they had because it was sold out. The management was very nice and tried to solve the odor problem with a spray which 1/2 worked. They allowed people with dogs to stay. Saturday night, one of them "messed" in front our door. Enough said.”

• Classic charm with modern amenities.
• Parking was not ideal.

“Great hotel, close to Washington Ave. Restaurants, pubs and shops. Great value for location and amenities. Rooms are a bit tight for active children, but very comfortable for couples and business travelers. No on-site parking, but garages are close.”

• The location was very convenient.
• Noises from outside the room were heard easily.

“The location was good for a passing by traveler. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall cleanliness was just ok. Rooms were not very quiet. Closing doors, cars starting, and people talking in the hall were all easily heard from within the room. Overall met my expectation for the price I paid.”

“Second time staying here. First time, I had my dog with me so I didn't expect too much. This time was on business without dog and things didn't improve. Beds sag and room wasn't cleaned very well.”

• Quiet, but convenient location.
• Corner of roof always dripped onto the sidewalk which was in my path.

“The hotel was in a good location, also quiet and convenient. No noticeable residential areas around it (I am Leary of hotels surrounded by apartments and low-income housing.) Minimal traffic primarily consisting of people staying at the hotel. Plenty of breakfast items to choose from.”

• Very clean and I felt so safe.
• If we tried to sleep in the maids knocked on our door every 15mins.

“When my work is in key selling horses we stay at the La Quinta. I picked it again for our honeymoon because I was familiar with how clean and safe the hotel is. the pool is wonderful and we had a peaceful stay other than they maids knocking on our door every 10-15mins if we tried to sleep in due to no do not disturb signs.”

• Friendly staff, great continental breakfast. It was so nice to have a crib set up free of charge when we arrived!
• While the breakfast was great, the dining facilities were a little dirty early in the morning.

“This was a great hotel! My family walked to dinner at the Cracker Barrel. It was easy to find, had great service and we will definitely choose this hotel again as we travel down 75!”

• Close to the highway. gave us 2 rooms next to eachother.
• Rooms were not clean. Smelled like smoke in a non smoking room. mold in the bathroom. would not recommend the hotel.

• After a hard rain there were several leaks in halls, also water gathered in one place in hallway.

“The room was just ok. but the hallways looked ragged and after that hard rain there was several leaks in the hallways. I noticed other rooms had U.S.A. today paper outside their doors, but not mine. but all and all I would stay there again.”

“We were unsure of the area. A sign on the building told that hotel wasn't liable for loss of vehicle plus there was a semi truck parked there for the night that had a window smashed out at 6 P.M., just before our arrival.”

• The rooms on the first level had some mold

“We had a pleasant stay. After the first night, we asked to be moved to the second floor due to dampness and plumbing problems. The staff was very courteous and we picked out a lovely room on the upper level.”

• There was an ice machine adjacent to my room, but it wasnt too bad.

• Room had slight musty smell too it, poor ventalation

• I was unfamiliar with the area and a suitable motel by name.
• Nothing that I can recall. It was better than expected.

“Besides being most conveniently located, and an upgraded facility to my request, it was obtained at a better price than if I had contacted the motel directly. Further, I telephoned LaQuinta directly to request the most convenient location possible, and which was waiting for me, due to my somewhat handicaped mobility.”
