• Beds and linens were wonderful. Like falling into a cloud.
• Inattentive wait staff in restaurant and quality of food was not commiserating with prices.

“The atmosphere bespoke welcome, immediately upon entering, subtly announcing that this was horse country. The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was like heaven.”

• Very nice hotel that exceeded my expectation. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.
• Drunken people partying around the pool.

• I liked the convenience to the freeway. The rooms were quiet, beds were very comfortable. The kids like the weight room and pool.
• Only 1 restaurant & it was pricey. Not good if you have small children. I saw a lot of empty pizza box's outside the room doors.

“The hotel was wonderful. I imagine it would be a great place to stay if you are there for the horses, as it had a horse decor. It also had carrots in a basket for the taking as you were leaving the hotel. Nice touch. Every one was very friendly and welcoming. I felt like we won the lottery - especially for the small amount we paid to stay there.”

• The grounds are beautiful.
• Bathroom a little small.

“This is a very comfortable hotel with beautiful resort quality gardens. The linens are luxurious. I had room service and the food was excellent.”

• The hotel, beds, and the New Spa facilities are excellent.
• Would be a plus, if there were more nightlife in walking distance.

“Fabulous experience at the Griffin Gate Marriott. Excellent facilities and Pool. I recommend a morning at the spa followed by an afternoon at Keenland. Then drinks all around for your mates with your winnings! Have Fun!”

• It was very nice.
• I ask for complete privacy, no one was to be told that I was there. They told people calling I was there and rang them my room.

“The hotel is normally a super nice and enjoyable place to stay but since they gave my information out to the people that I didn't want to know that I was there, I couldn't enjoy my weekend for the phone calls coming into my room.”

“My stay was fabulous. The bedding was so comfortable. I had an incredible balcony overlooking the golf course. The resort is very quiet and the pool bar and grill were great. Very friendly staff. Will definitely stay again.”

• Internet price is very expensive, should be free or reduced price.

“Hotel was great. Staff was very accommodating. I checked in late afternoon with king size bed. My son was injured that afternoon in a baseball game and was allowed to change rooms. Once again the only drawback was High Speed Internet. The $12.95 per 24 hour. Is too high when most other hotels offer it free.”

• The entrance into the hotel is beautiful with landscaping and flowers.
• Our balcony was dirty. The breakfast buffet was too expensive.

• Only room available was a double bed room. We would have preferred a king.

• Wonderful and very helpful staff, great environment.
• $12 for valet.

“I had a great weekend and this hotel just added to the excitement. There is a great little bar inside but it was cozy and fun before a night out on the town. The staff was friendly and spoke to me as if we were long time friends. I will definitely return to the Marriott GG Lexington.”

• Nice mattress and comforter, wonderful buffet brunch, love the tile in lobby.
• Large crowd because of a convention and had to park a little farther away than desirable.

• Location to Lexmark was perfect and the renovations are perfect.
• Renovations in restaurant could be blocked off to dining area and menu could be better.

“The staff was very helpful, rooms clean and decorated nicely. The portable hair dryer is a nice touch for a woman business traveler just need better lighting at the desk.”

• It was clean, quiet and pleasant.
• The power was supposed to be off 4 hours on Sunday, but it ended up being longer.

“Pleasant, friendly, clean. The pool and fitness room had ample towels available. The fitness room had bottled water and fresh fruit, a nice addition that was much appreciated.”
