• Nice breakfast!
• Only smoking rooms available. I called but they wouldn't change me to non-smoking. I don't smoke and it stunk.

“This is a moderate hotel, nothing special. Outdoor pool, no indoor pool. Good breakfast.”

• The staff was very friendly.
• The mattress was really hard. Wasn't comfortable to sleep on.

“I would recommend this hotel. The staff was great and it was very clean. We weren't far from different attractions. However the only thing was that the beds weren't very comfortable. Besides that it would be a place that I would stay at again. Thanks.”

• Good continental b-fast, staff offered to help with loading luggage.
• Bathroom door hung on frame, very noisy on closing.

“Overnight front desk clerk. I was appreciative of his offer to help with getting our things to second floor room (no elevator). Continental breackfast was good for the level of hotel (boiled eggs, waffle maker, fair quality muffins, choices of cerials)”

• No poor comments.

“The Best Western was clean, comfortable and met all of our expectations. It was so conveniently located to all that Lexington has to offer. I'd recommend to anyone traveling to the area.”

• The pool and hot tub were a nice feature.
• The room was a traditional hotel room with two queen size beds.

“The overall experience was quite nice. The location was perfect for me. The pool and hot tub were nice. The staff was friendly. The common areas were nice. The only downside was that the room was not very stylish. But for the lower end of the star spectrum it wasn't too bad. I might call it a 2 rather than a 2.5 for that reason. But I was very happy.”

• This hotel was a perfect place to crash at the end of a long day of traveling.
• My husband would have liked to have had biscuits and gravy available.

“The room was beautiful, and very clean. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. The whirlpool was an excellent place to go at the end of a long travel day. We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. We will stay there again.”

• The price and the location.
• Not very clean.

“The room was not very clean. There were crumbs along the baseboards. I was very disappointed. I had to remove the sheets and clean off the mattress pad. That is what the hotel staff gets paid to do.”

• They had a great computer in the lobby.
• The non smoking room smelled like smoke.

“They should check the rooms to clean out the smoke when the rooms should be smoke free. They ought to really crack down on people who smoke in non smoking rooms. I was glad to see they are not pet friendly and advertise at the front desk to this. I hate the smell of dogs in a room.”

• It was an old hotel. It needs to be remodeled.

“The location was close to the interstate. However, the rooms were old. The bathroom floor was not very clean. The hotel needs to be remodeled.”

• Pleasant, clean, large rooms, friendly and helpful management.
• Sheets were not fitted and bottom sheet easily shifted around and pulled off bed.

“I have stayed there several times and always been satisfied. This last time the power went out due to a storm and was out for about 18 hours. This was beyond the management's control, but we elected to stay in spite of the inconvenience. We rather enjoyed sitting in front of the roaring fireplace in the lobby during the evening. Management was very nice and kept us updated on the power company's progress in getting the electricity back on and provided us with a battery powered light should we need it. The power came back on before bedtime and we returned to our room. If the weather had been cold and the room cold, we probably would have moved to another location, but we felt comfortable and relaxed.”

• Loved the whirlpool, it was just what I needed.
• The room should have been cleaned better.

“The hotel was easy to find, good location, loved the whirlpool, but the room should have been cleaned better there was dried urine on the toilet and bathroom floor, which really got to me, but overall it was a good visit. I would go back, but hopefully the room would be clean.”

• It was close to the interstate.
• It was creepy and seemed like a place drug dealers would stay.

“Overall the mattress was terrible, the room faced a hustler Hollywood store, and the hotel itself looked like a place that hookers and drug dealers would frequent. It was actually fairly clean and the lobby was almost attractive, but there was just a seedy vibe.”

• Hotel manager was helpful in making rearrangement on room.
• Hotel is non smoking but has no control if patrons want to smoke in room.

“This hotel is somewhat tired in room decor, mattress quality. When request for room change was made to front desk because non smoking room was used for smoking guest, I was told the room would be sprayed. This was not the correct response. The manager finally took over and changed my room.”

“This was a older hotel, and the rooms needed updating. I also asked for a non smoking room, and was told that the room they gave me was non smoking, however, there was an ashtray in the room, When I call the front desk the again told me it was non smoking room and couldn't explain why there was an ashtray in the room. IT SMELT LIKE A SMOKING ROOM”

• Convenient location. Parking outside of room. Near gas and restaurants.
• Not the cleanest. I was given a smoking room and am a non-smoker. The room smelled like smoke. Toilet leaked a little.

“Ok for the price. Lots of smokers. Although a non-smoker myself, I had to take a smoking room. It smelled really bad. Given the wide range of choices in Lexington, I probably will not stay here again.”

• Easy access to highway, several restaurants not too far away.
• Beds were uncomfortable, could hear lots of kids next to us.

“For the price we paid it was a decent motel. We were trying to do this trip on a budget so we avoided our normal hotel chains (like Hilton/Marriott). Its been awhile since I've stayed in the motel style (doors lead directly outdoors), but for the money there was nothing wrong with the property. For people with kids, it seemed like several families were enjoying the outdoor swimming pool.”

• Very hard to open door to room, had to pull very hard, seemed stuck.

• I like the location off of the freeway.
• It's to bad that right across the street is a Hustler of Hollywood, very disturbing with a family.

• The hotel rooms were somewhat spacious.
• The hotel room was non-smoking but smelled of smoke and the hotel doors did not lock, I did not feel safe.
