“The front desk staff was very professional and got me checked right in! There was no hastles or problems and I was in my room in a few minutes, the hotel location was central to everything. I would stay here again.” Sep 10, 2008 by
Tom from Athens, AL
“The pool was already closed for the season with daytime temperature still above 90 Deg F. This was just the 1st week of Sept? The hotel's internet service (wireless) was not operable.” Aug 26, 2008 by
Joy from Atlanta, GA
“The bed was not comfortable. There was no real breakfast. The paint on the walls was peeling. I didn't feel very safe staying there by myself. The hotel didn't make for a very relaxing stay. For a Days Inn I was disappointed. I won't stay there again.” Jul 23, 2008 by
Kim from Gracewood, GA
“Pleasant experience. Clean room. AC worked (definite plus for GA in July). Friendly staff.” Jul 10, 2008 by
Nicholle from Bristol, VA
“Dark, gangs of people hanging outside the rooms, smoking, talking loudly to each other. Very disappointing.” Jun 30, 2008 by
Sarah from Spring Hill, TN
“We were so dissatisfied. We arrived at 10:30 with our young children and ready to sleep for the night. Before more travels the next day. The office was separate and I could tell when we pulled up it wasn't taken care of. The pool looked worse than a pond (I took pictures) Our kids were very disappointed. Our room floor was not swept. The bath towel on the tub had dirty spots on it. I took pictures of all. I couldn't sleep because I was afraid the sheets were dirty as well. It was a very unkempt place and the staff was not helpful and were all foreign. We did get a lower star which is fine but I expected clean and also the pool. Terrible and I would hate for anyone else to get stuck there. Thank you for your understanding. We would love to be compensated.” Jun 2, 2008 by
Elvenia from Lawrenceville, GA
“The hotel is old and smelly. The condition is deplorable and it should probably be condemned. I have never stayed in a hotel this shabby and would not recommend it to anyone. I ended up staying with relatives mostly because of the condition of this property.” May 2, 2008 by
Victoria from Hephzibah, GA
“Poor service and unclean rooms!” Apr 28, 2008 by
Phil from Franklin, TN
“There were roaches in my room and the proprietor seemed indifferent to it. When I told him, he did not apologize or make any other comment.” Apr 14, 2008 by
Danielle from North Myrtle Beach, SC
“The bed linens smelled like they were not washed, the bathroom had hairs all over it, there was food stuck to the phone, and the room had a horrible smell!” Mar 29, 2008 by
Kaisha from Austell, GA
“Outside of the lack of water pressure in our rooms, the fact there was only one way in and out of the location was not agreeable.” Mar 23, 2008 by
Lavenia from Donalsonville
“Very dirty. Rooms had not been vacuumed in years. Dust everywhere. I would not walk on carpet without my shoes on. Chairs very dirty. Water would not drain out of sink. Couldn't bear to try the shower. No plastic covers on pillows or mattress. Loud noises such as someone pulling trashcans up and down in front directly outside our room, groining, etc., Gunshots, man & woman just outside our doors fist fighting (literally). Doors open directly onto parking lot. We did not feel safe. We stayed there for night because we were so far from home, unfamiliar with city and area. It is convenient to Doctors Hospital and would be the perfect place for patients to the hospital and their families if it were clean. However, as a burn patient sent to Augusta Burn Center, six hour drive from my home, I was worried I would come back home with something worse than a burn from staying in that motel. Also the amount charged on my room receipts did not correspond to the amount billed on my credit card. I don't believe a health inspector has been there in the last thirty years. No security except lock your room doors.” Mar 5, 2008 by
Terrence from Atlanta, GA
“I would never stay in that hotel again. In the "hotel amenities" it listed an "Ironing board and iron in every room". I had to go to the front desk and get it and it wasn't even a full size board. When I went into the bathroom the toilet was filthy! I had to clean it before I could even sit down on it. I was not informed of an additional $1 cash payment that had to be made upon check in. I know $1 isn't anything but I could have been in a situation where if I didn't have cash on me I would have had to go to an ATM and then a store just to get change before I could even check into my room.” Feb 6, 2008 by
Vida from Perham, MN
“Room was OK for just a short one night stay, not for an extended stay. There were 2 double beds and 5 of us so it seemed more crowded.” Jan 25, 2008 by
Danny from Decatur, GA
“There where four old mattresses, one with big nasty stain, leaning up against the building as you drove to you room just out in the open to see.” Jan 24, 2008 by
Michalea from Woodstock, GA
“I had to be in August for a meeting on Sunday morning and due to inclement weather in the Atlanta area we chose to go Saturday night. I would not stay at this hotel again under any circumstances and would rather have chanced missing the meeting. The hotel staff was not friendly and I had to stand outside in the rain/sleet to check in between 7-8 p.m. The floors were filthy and so was the sink. I would never have allowed small children to stay there.” Jan 20, 2008 by
Mark from Atlanta, GA
“You can see this hotel from about half a mile away after exiting I-520 at Wheeler Road, but be patient, you have to drive half a mile past the hotel and pull a U-turn to get to the entrance which is pot-holed and poorly lit at night. Upon arriving, you will be grunted at by a receptionist, begrudgingly handed a key card and sent round to a room which has a 5-10 year old TV with bad reception and color, you will sleep on an uncomfortable bed and wake up to a shower which dribbles warm water at you before drying yourself with scratchy small towels. Of course, the breakfast consists of Kroger Value brand frosted flakes, bad coffee and vending machine-style chocolate mini-donuts. Then you have the pleasure of being grunted at by the same receptionist who so charmingly greeted you the night before.” Jan 10, 2008 by
Garrett from Tallahassee, FL
“We had to check in at a window. No lobby. And we checked out after 10 minutes because the room was dirty and we felt unsafe. This hotel definitely does NOT represent 2 star quality.” Nov 16, 2007 by
Clay from Eastman, GA
“An older motel that is still clean.” Oct 8, 2007 by
Aaron from Beaufort, SC
“Not a 2 star. I have yet to stay in a 2 star Day's Inn.” Oct 3, 2007 by
Norm from Phenix City, AL
“Somewhat run down; borderline quality. Was unhappy to get a smoking room with two double beds, which is not what I wanted.” Sep 20, 2007 by
Mike from Burton, MI
“You get what you pay for.” Sep 6, 2007 by
Zafrir B. from San Francisco, CA
“It is a basic motel and should be rated 1-star.” Jul 30, 2007 by
Shirley from Atlanta, GA
“I was very disappointed; I would like to report the owner to the better business bureau. He was very sharp in his tone of voice, and it was uncalled for. The room needed vacuuming, and the back of the toilet was dirty.” Jul 23, 2007 by
Hannah from Augusta, GA
“It took 10 minutes after my arrival for someone to come to the front deck to check me in, this is around noon on a weekday, and then he did not have a pleasant attitude. The room the placed me in on the back of the hotel could not hold the wireless connection. I had to go in the vanity and bathroom area to use the laptop. The mattresses on the bed were sunken in and horrible to sleep on. The buttons on the phone was so dirty I had to wash them before I used it. There was a war of toothpaste stuck on carpet leading into the bath room. The carpet was sticky, and the dust in the corners of the room indicates the floor has not had a good vacuum in a while.” Jul 11, 2007 by
Disappointed A. from Louisville, KY
“I was planning a nice romantic weekend visiting my husband in the army with a Jacuzzi and near fort Gordon. What I got was 15 minutes away and no Jacuzzi.” Jul 5, 2007 by
Ginger from Grovetown, GA
“Would not recommend to my worst enemy.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 30, 2007 by

“Very economy, no frills.” Jun 29, 2007 by
Levi from Longmont, CO
“It was a nice place to stay for a day or two. And was close to the highway, mall and its right next to a drug store. All in all I would stay there again and recommend it to others.” Jun 11, 2007 by
John from Savannah, GA
“It was old, dirty, absolutely no amenities. The shower faucet was about to come out of the wall. No coffee maker in the room, any iron or ironing board. Room smelled of mildew. Absolutely not a value.” Jun 7, 2007 by
Charene from Duluth, GA
“Clean, convenient hotel with large rooms and friendly staff.” May 17, 2007 by
Sandy from Lawrenceville, GA
“The maid was very nice. I would not have felt comfortable staying here by myself. I asked to borrow an iron and thought I was going to be electrocuted while I was trying to use it. This was no way a 2 1/2 star hotel. This is a 1 or 1 1/2 star hotel.” Apr 15, 2007 by
david
“clean, quiet, easy access” Mar 17, 2007 by
Jamrs from Hollywood, FL
“After changing to a better room, everything was ok. But we were very disappointed with the assistance we got.” Mar 14, 2007 by
Michelle from Rome, GA
“Not up to Days Inn standards. Was an old hotel that they had difficulty keeping up the maintenance. The walls were dirty, there was two different paints in the room. The bathroom ceiling was dirty. There was enough gap under the outside door to see people walking past outside. The good part was the fridge and microwave in the room. The sheets were clean and most of the time it was quiet. It was also nicely located close to where I needed to go the week I was there. Definitely wouldn't go to this hotel again.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jan 10, 2007 by
Neguib from Fairfax, VA
“My experience with the over night stay at the hotel was disappointing. I had to switch to another hotel for a second night stay in the area. Although the hotel location is generally good, it was obvious it lacked general house keeping to the extent that the bed sheets, pillow covers and comfort were smelly and unclean.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Dec 29, 2006 by
Jack from West Columbia, SC
“Very stiff pillows and coarse sheets. The room was clean, but smelled like smoke, despite it being a non-smoking room. Our original room included only a full bed, so we had to pay extra to upgrade.” May 19, 2006 by
Daniel from Moultire, GA
“Room was dingy, just distasteful. No iron or ironing board in room. Had to get a table top from the desk. It was terrible. ” Mar 29, 2006 by
Shana from Atlanta, GA
“The location was okay. they just recently painted it so you needed to look around the doors for a small piece of paper with the room number on it. they have only 5 iron/boards so if you want one, better ask for it as soon as you check in. Manager RUDE.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Mar 15, 2006 by
Kyle from Forest City, NC
“This Days Inn actually made me nervous. Every door opens to the outside, the rooms were not clean, the room smelled terrible (not smoke), undesirable characters hung out in the parking lot etc. I was afraid to take my shoes off in this place, it just felt dirty. Pick somewhere else, do not stay at this hotel.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Nov 30, 2005 by
Tim from Cumming, GA
“Nothing great and nothing terrible. It was just OK.” Nov 24, 2005 by
Dan from Akron, OH
“This hotel was perfect for a weekend stay to visit friends and family.” Sep 8, 2005 by
Christopher
“The room seemed renovated recently. It was clean. They could replace the chairs though. They seem quite old and aren't padded very well. The air conditioner was old but worked fine. The only problem with it is that the front panel falls off really easily. I will definitely not allow my family to stay there again. I also saw that a guy had a beer he drank while in the pool. At least the room was clean.”
