• The pool area was nice
• Advertising led you to believe breakfast was complimentary - it was not.

“This was what you would expect. The courtyard and the lobby were nice. It was right off the highway - for some reason I was expecting it to be downtown on the river. I think I got it mixed up with another one run by Marriott. The staff was nice - they initially put us in a room facing the parking lot and, because we were traveling with two children, I asked if it were possible to relocate us facing the pool and they were real nice about accommodating us. The rooms all had sleeper sofas or a sleeper chair. The pool was small, but pleasant with a little gazebo and lawn all around.”

• The bed was fabulous.

“Only things that matter to me in a hotel are: non-smoking room, good mattress, and a good shower. All rooms at this hotel are non-smoking, the mattress was very comfortable, and the shower was good. 3 out of 3 makes this hotel a winner for me.”

• Construction at the exit of hotel was life threatening.

“There was dirt in the chair and what looked to bug droppings near the air conditioner. I said nothing but the next day when they freshened up the room they didn't clean up the mess. I had to call the front desk. They did clean the areas, but laughed about it like it was no big deal.”

• The courtyard area was especially beautiful.
• The lobby shop only offered desserts and canned soup.

“The facility was lovely and easily accessible. All rooms had a sliding glass door and second floor rooms had a small balcony. The courtyard landscaping was especially nice with not only a pool, but also a private gazebo and another private seating area. Noon check-out also makes the morning much easier. Each room also had a microwave and a refrigerator, unfortunately the freezer section of the lobby shop only had ice cream. Something more substantive for a late night meal would have been nice.”

“It was very below average. Not up to date with modern details at all. Things were dirty and the area around us wasn't the best. I didn't feel safe. And they didn't have a working elevator.”

• Every staff person was super friendly and helpful!
• Nothing.

“I have never been more impressed with the super friendly and fantastic service I received at this hotel! From the front desk to the operator and cleaning staff, everyone was smiling, helpful and very friendly! The hotel was clean and appeared newly remodeled. It was a pleasurable short vacation in a comfortable, clean, friendly place. Thanks Courtyard Augusta!”

“This is a nice, clean, cozy, located near highway,mall,shopping, and food. Breakfast expensive for hotel. Paper thin walls, can hear everyones televisions and conversations.”

• Very comfortable.
• Housekeeping opened door to room several times.

“My girlfriend came into town for the weekend. It was her first visit to Augusta. The hotel helped give her a good first impression of my home town. It was very clean and very comfortable. The bed was sinfully amazing. My only issue was privacy from housekeeping. The housekeeping staff opened our door several times during our stay.”

“The room itself was really nice, but the stairways smelled bad from a dirty and broken mildewed ice machine that was all in pieces. This was the only way to get to the second floor. Hotel employees sitting on the curb outside and smoking by the door to the hotel is tacky and smelly.”

• The hotel was very nice, the stay was very relaxing with all things to do on Washington road from restaurants to shopping.
• I did not like that I could not change my room to an up grade.

“We enjoyed this hotel. The king size bed was very comfortable and dressed with nice linens. I especially enjoyed not having a bed spread but a decorative 2 ft. wide piece of fabric across the bed near the foot of the bed. I will recommend to our family and friends.”

• They would not give me a room with two beds, only king size, we were two ladies traveling together, also no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage.

“The room, the stairwell or the halls were not very clean. I actually went to the store, because I was in a rush when I checked in, and purchased stuff to clean the bathroom. The staff did not even know how to assign a king room, they kept sending me to a double room. Just aggravating.”

• The pool and spa were not open.

“This hotel has a wonderful ambience from the moment you walk in. The professional staff greets you with that marvelous Southern Hospitality that we come to the South for. The foyer is clean, attractive, good sized and functional. The rooms are clean, up to date and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers. Did I mention that we loved the front desk staff?”

• I had a balcony, a microwave and a refrigerator.
• It did not offer a free breakfast.

“The person who checked me in was very pleasant. So was the staff at the breakfast area. This was a great stay for a trip that was decided upon only a few hours earlier. A free breakfast is always appreciated.”

“We have stayed here twice for weekends to visit grandkids. Hotel is well kept and up to date. Busy location, but there is plenty of restaurants right in the area and the mall is 1 exit down the highway. Would stay there again.”
