“The hotel is in a great location for tourists and the rooms are big and the staff was friendly.” Aug 30, 2009 by
Gary from Lincoln Park,NJ
“Superb staff, excellent view of city and harbor, wonderfully comfortable and clean.” Jul 1, 2009 by
Jason from Houston,TX
“I travel frequently and I rarely have such a universally positive experience with a hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was large and clean and in excellent condition, the bed was very comfortable and the public spaces were very nice.” Apr 30, 2009 by
Kevin from Bothell,WA
“A great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with some nice views. Location within walking distance of most downtown areas.” Apr 11, 2009 by
Sherrie from San Francisco,CA
“Good for business travelers and people traveling with pets - very friendly staff who are knowledgeable about local area.” Mar 29, 2009 by
Tim from Victoria,Canada
“Lovely clean suite, great service, everyone super friendly & helpful.” Mar 25, 2009 by
Kent from Prince George,Canada
“ This is an excellent hotel for business travelers and adult couples. When considering the location, it is centrally located near Gas town but a bit of walk away from Robson and the Financial District where there are many other upscale hotels in that area. The service staff, particularly the valet staff, is very helpful and courteous. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable, making our stay positive. We did travel with young children, however, and as the hotel has no pool we would not recommend this hotel during the off season where the weather in Vancouver can be somewhat unpredictable. The room service food quality was surprising mediocre however we had only tried the hotel food one time. Overall our experience with this hotel was excellent. ” Feb 26, 2009 by
Stacy from Powell River,Canada
“Good clean hotel. Nice amenities. A little noisy at night, car alarms, police sirens etc. Easy to get to.” Feb 16, 2009 by
Jim from Bellevue,WA
“The staff here is the best! The valet gave us two bottles of water for the trip home. This was a real nice touch.” Jan 29, 2009 by
Tim from Calgary,Canada
“Once inside the door (and once we found the door), staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are well appointed but cramped. The lobby has very little activity compared to most 4 Star hotels. There is no pool. The parking garage off the alley in that part of town is scary. However the point of our stay was for my wife and I to get away and be a short safe pleasant walk to shopping and night life. From the Delta Vancouver Suites, such a walk is long, undesirable or in fact unsafe. Search for Vancouver Eastside and the area is described like the plague before your very eyes. Therefore you need to take a taxi from your hotel to do anything.” Jan 5, 2009 by
Dan from Fridley,MN
“This hotel was unbelievable. It is the best staff I have ever met. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms were great. Great view of downtown. Don't park in the ramp across the street though. Our rental car was broken into there. Very unsafe.” Dec 24, 2008 by
David. from Port Coquitlam,Canada
“Room was a nice Junior Suite with a queen bed, in an alcove and a small living area with a desk and couple of chairs to watch TV. Old school TV didn't seem to fit the Modern room. Bar and restaurant seem small and open out onto the open lobby - it was very cold in Vancouver and the lobby was cold - didn't make the bar or restaurant too inviting. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.” Dec 15, 2008 by
Nick from Colorado Springs,CO
“I was disappointed to discover that this hotel did not have a pool/hot tub; apparently they were renting out a facility nearby and the term expired. Aside from that, this is a great hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver.” Dec 9, 2008 by
Steve from London,Canada
“Good for business travelers looking to stay in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Clean & quiet rooms.” Nov 13, 2008 by
Sheila from Seattle,WA
“From the moment I arrived the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. The hotel was spotlessly cleaned and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I greatly enjoyed my stay at this hotel.” Nov 11, 2008 by
Nancy from Seattle,WA
“Conveniently located in the heart of North Vancouver the Delta Suites would make a great place for a business traveler; in fact, it feels like a business building more than a hotel. We stayed here one night after a long drive from Seattle and it was fine - but it would have been nice to have a more active lounge or something else easy to do that night.

“The room was spacious and clean, beds super comfortable. The staff went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed for my stay, I loved it!” Aug 25, 2008 by
Jennie from Seattle, WA
“Functional hotel for business travelers. Walking distance to downtown attractions but not really in the center of everything. Definitely do not mistake this for a Westin or Pan Pacific -the Delta Suites aren't nearly as nice. It's fine for a business trip but not that great for a weekend getaway.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Jennifer from Seattle, WA
“Very spacious room with a large bathroom. Clean with easy access. Very friendly staff. Close to the waterfront and public transportation. Only negative: we were on the 4th floor and the disco beat from the club downstairs could be heard in our room - this would be a problem for a light sleeper but it was not a real problem for me.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Frank from Long Beach, NY
“We had a wonderful time in Vancouver visiting many and different sites. Because of the hotel's proximity to many of these sites or the means of transportation to these sites, the vacation was more successful. The queen-size bed was very comfortable and that's coming from someone who has a very comfortable bed at home also.” Jul 16, 2008 by
Sharon from Williams Lake, BC CA
“Overall very good experience except for the mix-up with the room charge. They had just installed a new computer system which may have caused the problem.” May 28, 2008 by
Karla from Calgary, AB CA
“The hotel was fine. It was clean and decorated nicely. It just wasnt the extravagant 5 year wedding anniversary room I as hoping for. I had already stayed at this hotel in the past. I would have chosen a different hotel if I had a choice.” Apr 27, 2008 by
Atif from Folsom, CA
“Delta Vancouver Suites is an excellent hotel to stay if you are on business trip or taking a cruise and need to stay for 1 night. The room we stayed in was clean, spacious with comfortable bed. The staff is very friendly and courteous and always greets you with a smile. We went to Vancouver for our honeymoon and staff brought us champagne and strawberries after we checked-in, it was really nice. Moreover, the rooms are not well insulated for sound. Every morning at 5 AM we woke up to the noise of bathroom / shower next door to us, very annoying if you are trying to relax. As I said earlier, this is a perfect hotel for business trip or 1 knighted stay for cruise, definitely not for extended vacation stay.” Apr 27, 2008 by
Jodi from Toronto, ON CA
“The hotel was lovely, but the room was lacking. The bed was 4 star; a comfy duvet instead of bedspread and nice pillows, however the rest of the room was 3 star.” Apr 8, 2008 by
Dj from Seattle, WA
“I recently stayed at the Delta Suites in Vancouver, BC. The hotel staff was very accommodating from the time I arrived to the time I left. The room was my favorite part of the hotel because they have "black out" curtains that make the room look very dark. The bed was very comfortable and I felt like I could sleep all day. I think this hotel is in the best location in Vancouver. There are so many great restaurants, bars, and nightclubs nearby. The Sky Train is a few blocks away and Robson street is a short 5 minute walk. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.” Mar 19, 2008 by
Deirdre from Seattle, WA
“You'll be pleased to stay at this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were, the views were great and most of all, and the staff was smiling and nice.” Mar 14, 2008 by
Mendel from Brooklyn, NY
“I was extremely happy with this hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable. Housekeeping did a wonderful job in keeping the place clean and fresh. I would recommend Delta Suites (Vancouver) to all my friends.” Mar 10, 2008 by
Rich from Cream Ridge, NJ
“Upscale and well located, this modern hotel can appease the 4 star travelers.” Mar 3, 2008 by
Jen from North East, MD
“This hotel had amazing service, a friendly staff, and is in a great location. The room was in excellent condition. We had a great experience overall and would definitely come back. Our luggage did not make it on our arrival to Vancouver and the hotel immediately gave us complimentary toiletries and a warm cookie at checking.” Mar 1, 2008 by
Imade from Tofino, BC CA
“I have never seen hotel that you call for dinner and tell you we will call you back to take your order but no body came back.” Feb 28, 2008 by
Jeff from Everett, WA
“Great location two blocks from Pacific Centre Mall and one block from the Sky train and Sea bus terminal. Our room was very clean and was well insulated from the sound of traffic and other rooms. Many room types here offer a king bed but our basic suite had a queen. The staff went out of their way to offer help even when we did not ask. Don't worry about the street people if you venture out during the weekday business hours. I saw only a couple of unkempt individuals that were just walking along but the vast majority of the people I saw were workers walking to or from work. Check out the cookies and coffee at Cookies of Course across the street in the Harbor Centre building.” Feb 27, 2008 by
Marc from Kent, WA
“This was my first time in this hotel. The Delta Suites satisfied my needs for business. It is central to Downtwon Vancouver, is very well kept, with beautiful rooms. Beyond all of this, the hospitality provided this hotel's staff goes above any other four star hotel that have stayed in.” Feb 26, 2008 by
Mike from Brampton, ON CA
“Great downtown hotel close to Gastown and local attractions. Would recommend to couples and business travelers looking for a downtown getaway.” Feb 26, 2008 by
Chris from Federal Way, WA
“Friendly staff that provided me with an upgrade to concierge level plus free parking.” Feb 14, 2008 by
Steven from Vancouver, BC CA
“Beautiful hotel with a decent location. The fitness centre was ample although it was rarely used. Valet was almost the only option regarding overnight parking - the other packages didn't look too safe.” Feb 13, 2008 by
Howard from Bellingham, WA
“Wonderful hotel with great a comfy king size bed and city views. Large room. Located in the center of town so we could walk to almost every place we wanted to visit.” Feb 13, 2008 by
Masako from Bothell, WA
“There is neither a hotel gift shop nor a hotel parking facility (public parking across the alley). The room was small, the queen size bed was small, TVs were small and old, and bathroom/shower noises from next-door was way too noisy.” Feb 11, 2008 by
Ann from Seattle, WA
“Would definitely stay there again perfect location for walking to the various neighborhoods in the city... didn't use our car all weekend.” Feb 8, 2008 by
Laura from Rohnert Park, CA
“This hotel overlooks the bay with a close proximity to excellent shopping and dining areas. The rooms are large and comfortable and the staff is excellent.” Feb 7, 2008 by
Evelyn from Bellevue, WA
“The room and bed were very comfortable and spacious. The concierge was always helpful and friendly without appearing fake. The restaurant, room service, and other amenities were a bit pricey, but there is a lot to eat and do right outside the hotel.” Feb 6, 2008 by
John from Ottawa, ON CA
“Centrally located, although a bit close to the East Side which is not that great of an area. Nice hotel, modern design, nice modern furniture. Please and helpful front desk staff.” Feb 6, 2008 by
Tave from Portland, OR
“For the location it was great. What was unfortunate is that the hotel was not 4-star quality. The Television was fuzzy and small. The rooms were tiny and the furniture stained. Instead of looking out to the city view the room was situated to look into a neighboring building. Just moving the furniture to the other wall would have solved this. Internet cost extra and it wasn't wireless, so you had to sit at the desk to use your laptop. not at the coffee table, not by the window, not in the bedroom, but only at the desk. Parking was extra as well. The walls in the hotel are thin in that you can hear anything going on in the hallways. children running, adults talking, maid service knocking on doors and it always sounds like they are knocking on your door. The good thing about it was the staff was incredibly friendly and informative. Wonderful people they were, all around. The local was also good in the downtown area, rather than in the outskirts of Vancouver.” Feb 6, 2008 by
Pat from Mukilteo, WA
“Liked this hotel. Location was good. Would stay here again and recommend it to others.” Feb 3, 2008 by
Glenn from Kelowna, BC CA
“Nice staff, quiet location. Enjoyed the room very much. Would definitely recommend this Hotel.” Jan 30, 2008 by
Max from Richmond, BC CA
“One bedroom suite was nice and large. Staff is very friendly and attentive.” Jan 28, 2008 by
Hilary from Salmon Arm, BC CA
“The delta Vancouver suites may have real suites, but our 'suite' was just one room with no barrier between the bedroom and the living area. It was clean, but some of the finishing (e.g. tiling/grouting) was really average. The Chateau Granville Best Western Suites give much better bang for your buck, plus, there we had a view. Also, I think it's wrong to advertise 'unlimited 24 hour internet for 9.95 plus tax' when only one computer/IP address is allowed. My husband and I had both taken our laptops and when he left for his meeting, I wanted to do some work on mine. The hotel wouldn't allow me to use the connection he had already paid for, but nothing in their literature or the internet provider's disclaimer says anything about being able to use only one computer in the room. Again, Im not talking about both of us trying to access the internet at the same time; Im talking about using the same connection at different times during the same 24 hour period. I guess if it's a two star place you expect to pay for any extras, but at a supposed 4 star, this seemed chintzy.” Jan 24, 2008 by
Jade from Stavely, AB CA
“This hotel was great! Very accommodating. I do wish that I could have chosen which hotel I stayed at though as we were at a conference down the street.” Jan 22, 2008 by
Grace from Mukilteo, WA
“This hotel was great. We went to Vancouver so we could shop, eat, and party on rob son and Granville so it was a bit of a walk to there but not too bad (about 15 minutes walk). The staff were very helpful and friendly and I felt very welcome. The room was a very good size and very clean. There is no pool so I was a little sad about that but overall I highly recommend this hotel.” Jan 18, 2008 by
Alan from Frisco, TX
“Staff very friendly and helpful. Great service and nice, clean suites for couples. Location is close to Downtown shopping area but close to one rundown area of Downtown.” Jan 14, 2008 by
Dwayne from Kelowna, BC CA
“Not too bad, didn't meet my expectation of a 4 star "hotel". Good for business Downtown but a few blocks further away from the action of Robson and Stanley park for my liking. I would be nervous walking at night in this part of town.”
