“The hotel was OK, but not as nice as depicted in description. No gym, only one bed (one sofa bed), and a bad view/lack of balcony/lack of windows that open- though we specifically asked for a decent view. We ended up finding a much better value hotel for the latter part of our stay.” Jul 12, 2006 by
Peter from Corvallis, OR
“Clean hotel, rooms. Fridge and microwave in the room, nice bathroom features. Whistler is small and this is located just opposite a market so very convenient for making your own meals.” Jul 5, 2006 by
Kelly from Laguna Niguel, CA
“I was able to extend our stay and the manager honored a reduced price for the extra days. Very nice experience.” Jun 14, 2006 by
Glenn from Abbotsford, BC CA
“Overall we loved our time here, the room was exceptional and the staff answered all our questions and were very friendly! The only thing that was a surprise was the parking fee, it seemed a little high.” Jun 4, 2006 by

“I would definitely recommend this to my friends.” May 31, 2006 by

“This is a wonderful hotel: clean, well-appointed, with a friendly staff. It has a great restaurant (Elements) which was rightly voted the best new restaurant in Vancouver. This is one of the nicer places that I have ever stayed.” May 21, 2006 by
Frank from Bellingham, WA
“This boutique hotel is situated in Whistler villages has decent parking, pool and restaurant facilities. The hotel is updated in an elegant but casual manner. The staff is courteous and professional.” Apr 19, 2006 by

“My husband & I both enjoyed this comfortable, cozy hotel with a great central location. We would definitely stay there again, given the opportunity!” Apr 19, 2006 by

“Excellent hotel in a great location. Plenty of great amenities. Great shuttle service to/from the hills. Amazing hotel for a very reasonable.” Apr 14, 2006 by
Colleen from Irvine, CA
“This is a very nice hotel, and very well located for all the action. Our complaints: The rooms are pretty cramped. Especially with the sofa bed out. There needs to be more clothes storage as there is no dresser in the room, just one small armoire. Not nearly enough to hold ski clothes and vacation wear for my husband, myself and our 7 year old daughter. We called the pillows "sand bags" as they were so hard (so bring your own), and the refrigerator motor is pretty loud. Besides all that, the staff was very nice, and you got a love that free glass of wine every night. The Zen like feeling and wonderful aroma of the hotel was very nice. GREAT location, and free parking available.” Apr 6, 2006 by

“It's a convenient and warm hotel. We like it.” Mar 10, 2006 by

“Great location, near groceries, restaurants. Shuttle to gondola. Allows pets, even big dogs. We will definitely go back with our dog. Dog haters should avoid. Ask for room overlooking park, as there is some noise from street.” Nov 30, 2005 by

“We had a great time. The staff were friendly, they allow pets which is great! It's located right in the village, very handy and close to the shops, yet far enough away that there was privacy and quiet.” Nov 2, 2005 by

“Excellent location in a wonderful setting. Nice outdoor heated pool too.” Aug 31, 2005 by

“Overall, a great hotel. I'd recommend it to anyone. They have a great pet policy for small animals (free, can't beat that.)” Aug 27, 2005 by

“Comfy clean rooms and beds. easy 2min walk to village. opp grocery stores and restaurants. pleasant staff.” Aug 19, 2005 by
Heidi from Vancouver, WA
“We enjoyed our stay at Summit Lodge. It was conveniently located by a market and made for a less expensive trip because of it's kitchenette. The bathtub was very nice. I like how the changing rooms are warm so that when you get out of the pool, you can easily warm up. The whirlpool wasn't quite warm enough though. The lobby looks beautiful but there is a strong scent that gave me a headache and stung my eyes. I ended up going in through the parking garage most of the time to avoid it. The staff was friendly. They allow pets, we don't have one but I think that is very nice for people who do. I wouldn't recommend the Summit Logde based on the scent alone. If the scent wasn't there, I would definately stay there again and recommend it to anyone.” Jul 29, 2005 by
George from Long Beach, CA
“Overall a great propety. The staff were great and the room and grounds were immaculate. If the rooms were just a little larger and the parking a little better I'd give it a 5-star rating!!!” May 25, 2005 by
Susan from Sugar Land, TX
“I will be back in the summer, had a awesome time!!!!” Apr 3, 2005 by

“This hotel was definitely a change, we usually stay at the Fairmont, but WOW! The hotel is a smaller, boutique hotel but that adds an element of personality to it - all the staff knew us by the second day we were there and we felt really well taken care o” Jan 20, 2005 by

“We highly reccommend the summit lodge and spa. the staff was so friendly and very helpful with things to do in the town. the room was outstanding with in room fireplace nicely decorated and kitchen ammentities. we also enjoyed the java cafe where we enjoyed a great breakfast and lunch.” Dec 15, 2004 by
Randall S. from Sunnyside “Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Clean. Conveniently located. Parking easy.” Dec 1, 2004 by
Kristofer H. from Fletcher “The Summit Lodge & Spa is conveniently located in the Whistler Village. From the hotel, it is a short walk to restaurants and shops in Whistler as well as to the Whistler/Blackcomb gondolas themselves. The underground parking at the Summit Lodge is secure, requiring room key access to the garage. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the maid even washed our dishes for us. The room was quite cozy, and we would stay there again anytime.” Hotel Representatives:
