“We liked everything about this hotel and would definitely stay here again. There are two free internet terminals in the lobby and cat5 connections in your room. The views are outstanding. Check in and out were fast and easy.” Aug 20, 2009 by
Annie from Orange Co from Orange County,CA
“Located at the best location, able to walk to the London wax museum, the docks. Had the best view at night-time, the most magnificent scenery from the 8th floor. Very convenient microwave & fridge in the room. We love it, wish to come back again.” Jul 23, 2009 by
Carol from Windsor,Canada
“The hotel staff was very helpful in arranging transportation to the airport.” Jul 21, 2009 by
Ann from Calgary,Canada
“This hotel was clean and conveniently located to the waterfront. We were given rooms with excellent views.” Jul 6, 2009 by
Jennifer from Goshen,IN
“Excellent location to ferries, inner harbor and restaurants, etc. but not a refreshing, clean hotel also lacked a concierge. I do not feel it deserves a 3 star rating.” Jun 30, 2009 by
Anne from Stratham,NH
“This hotel was in a fabulous location and upgraded us to a better view floor level. It is in need of upgrading.” Jun 14, 2009 by
Dewang from Hamilton,Canada “This was a large, comfortable two bedroom suite with full kitchen and two bathrooms. The quiet location was perfect and a block away from the scenic harbor in Victoria.” May 18, 2009 by
Judy from Tulsa,OK
“Nice hotel, convenient location, helpful front desk staff.” May 17, 2009 by
Laura from Ancaster,Canada
“Food was really good and affordable. Staff was very accommodating, rooms a little dated but very comfortable.” Mar 6, 2009 by
Lynn from Bainbridge Island,WA
“We enjoyed our two night stay and were most comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.” Feb 23, 2009 by
Rebecca from Maple Valley,WA
“Convenient location. Easy walk from the Coho or Clipper. Just a couple blocks and you are standing on the steps of Parliment! Mini-kitchens help you cut costs as well.” Feb 8, 2009 by
Tony Beliso from Nanaimo,Canada
“The hotel is a good hotel located in the heart of James Bay. The hotel and its rooms are clean and well appointed. The gym is a good sized area and better than any I've seen in the same category.” Jan 4, 2009 by
Taylor from Cambridge,MA
“Great hotel, short walk to downtown with all the shops and restaurants. It was quite clean and the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the hotel and would recommend it to others.” Jan 1, 2009 by
G from Reading,MA
“Convenient location to Victoria Clipper ferry terminal. 15 minute walk to downtown Victoria and restaurants. Clean rooms with older decor (10-20 years ago style). Nice toiletries. Disliked the inconsitent temperature when taking a shower, water would alternate between scorching heat and frigid ice water making for a poor shower experience.” Sep 21, 2008 by
Rita
“The 2nd bedroom was very small and there was no shower in the 2nd bathroom making it awkward to share with another couple. Staff was very helpful.” Jul 24, 2008 by
Cheryl from San Francisco, CA
“I was ill and asked for a quiet room and got it. (I suspect rooms near elevators are less quiet). The room was clean and reasonably well-furnished and the bed was especially comfortable. Staff towed a corporate line, but one took the time to locate a small restaurant that I could not find. Long halls unfortunately encourage groups to gather there between rooms, and doors automatically slam shut. Excellent location for those traveling by ferry, but difficult for those who have difficulty walking to main shopping area and sites. Excellent breakfast service.” Jul 12, 2008 by
Connie from Terrell, TX
“This was a great stay. Their concierge Kristen is a wealth of knowledge. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel shuttle was very convenient we used it four times while there, always on time and available. I would recommend them easily. They are also in an extremely convenient location.” Jun 16, 2008 by
David A. from Austin, TX
“Is not a 4 star hotel. Maybe a 2.5 rating. We seriously overpaid for the quality of the hotel.” Jun 2, 2008 by
Sandra from Eastsound, WA
“The harbor towers is a really nice pet and family friendly hotel a couple blocks off the water, the staff make every effort to accommodate and are great at comping if things go wrong. We will stay there again, the penthouse suite was fantastic, the view was wonderful.” May 22, 2008 by
Geri from Richmond, BC CA
“I feel that this hotel is not a four star hotel. Rooms were very basic with old fashioned decor (tacky polyester quilts), no air conditioning, no sound proofing, bathroom towels felt like sandpaper. There were a number of high school bands staying there and they were very noisy. Underground parking which I was charged for had no security gate. The elevators were very small, in very bad shape with filthy carpets and smelled like fish. Shouldn't a four-star hotel have a service elevator. I have stayed here just for good facilities. It's only redeeming quality for a tourist (and I am not one) would be that it is near most of Victoria's tourist attractions. I just stayed in a 2-star hotel in New York and had good facilities.” Apr 17, 2008 by
Elaine from Parksville, BC CA
“I would not stay here again as it is obviously a hotel that books sports teams. The kids were on the balcony screaming at other kids and when we went to bed at around 11:00 the kids were phoning our room and making rude comments. We finally took the phone off the hook and left it off all night. There was a huge soccer tournament in town and it seemed a good majority of the kids stayed at this hotel.” Apr 14, 2008 by
Javier from Winnipeg, MB CA
“If you are looking for value in Victoria, the Harbour Inn should be in your shortlist.” Apr 11, 2008 by
NA “A great view of the harbor watching the sea planes come and go. Sea planes are fun to watch but noisy. They start up at about 7 am so if you like to sleep past that, beware. Sea gulls start up even earlier and are annoying. We didn't spend much time in the room and it was fine for our needs. I'd definitely come again if we came back with kids.” Apr 8, 2008 by
Caitlyn from New Westminster, BC CA
“This is a clean, safe, well-situated basic hotel room with some nice amenities. We even had a peek-a-boo view of the harbor (higher floors would have a full view.) There were no nice little surprises that you sometimes find at hotels, but everything you need is provided. We would highly recommend this as an upscale 3, but don't expect luxury.” Apr 7, 2008 by
Pau from Anchorage, AK
“Is not on the waterfront, so room views were limited. Staff was a bit frenzied but overall helpful.” Feb 20, 2008 by
Casey from Federal Way, WA
“My wife and I stayed for one night in a two level corner penthouse with views of the water, Washington coast, and the parliament building. The room was quite luxurious, however, some features (such as a self service bar) were lacking that I found a little surprising. The hotel restaurant, while featuring an attractive high price menu, was not up to par with what I expected. Infect, the food was awful. Deserts and drinks were very nice, so I would limit your dining experience to this only and seek other nearby options.” Feb 2, 2008 by
Tim from Enumclaw, WA
“Does not rate a 4 star rating.” Jan 18, 2008 by
Bruce from Edmonton, AB CA
“I recommend this hotel if you are looking for a well-run and conveniently located 3.5-star hotel. The rooms and other facilities are clean, spacious and well-maintained. Each room is provided with a complementary high-speed wired Internet connection. The fitness centre is large and well equipped. The service and menu selection in the restaurant are both excellent. Finally, the staff was friendly and helpful. I have now stayed twice in this hotel, and I certainly plan to return as I am now a frequent visitor to Victoria.” Jan 2, 2008 by
Angela from Vancouver, BC CA
“Generally disappointed to go to what felt like a 2.5-3 star hotel named as a 4-star hotel. Room was relatively small, clean but it needs a Reno to update its look. The bedding was comfortable, but the bed seemed smaller than a Queen, which was what they told us we had.” Dec 31, 2007 by
Don from Kenmore, WA
“We really enjoyed our time at this hotel. The room exceeded out expectations. We will sty here again.” Sep 3, 2007 by
William from Port Charlotte, FL
“We were generally very pleased with the accommodations.” Sep 2, 2007 by
Janet from Blaine, WA
“The location was excellent. We were off the boat and to our hotel in a few minutes. The staff was friendly and checked us in quickly. We had breakfast in their restaurant. The menu was varied and fresh, delicious breads, well prepared. Check out was easy; they held our bags until our afternoon departure. Overall excellent.” Aug 24, 2007 by
Manfred from London, ON CA
“Overall, this hotel was very good value, excellent location, and good parking.” Aug 18, 2007 by
Chuckl from Mill Creek, WA
“The hotel staff was excellent, as were the hotel amenities. They location of the hotel was great.” Aug 17, 2007 by
John from San Ramon, CA
“We had a nice room and thoroughly enjoyed the location of this hotel. We had friends over and met in the bar area for appetizers and drinks - it was so nice and very comfortable. The hotel was clean and the staff was very accommodating. Overall it was a good experience.” Aug 12, 2007 by
John from Portland, OR
“Good location with a professional staff.” Dec 24, 2006 by
Joyce from Vancouver, BC CA
“This hotel is ridiculously over-priced and irresponsible. I've visited their website and checked the pictures shown on the site, and I expected something grand and beautiful. The real thing turned out to be small and dark and snobbish with no nice furniture, considering it's a 4 star hotel. 2 bedroom suites, that means 2 bathrooms with showers right? Nope, there was only one tiny little bathroom with a shower. One of the rooms didn't even have a TV set in it; even motels have TV sets in every room. There were no toothbrushes provided, and when I asked for shower gel, they gave me shaving cream. I complained about it, the manager didn't even say sorry, but just told me that they couldn¿t help it. That¿s not how a 4 star should be like. It was worse than the 3 star ones in china. It deserves only at most 2.5 stars.” 0 of 3 people found this review helpful.Aug 16, 2006 by

“All in all we were very happy with this hotel experience. The staff were extremely helpful and kind, and the location was excellent to all of the sights we wanted to visit.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Aug 14, 2006 by

“Overall the hotel staff was courteous. Was annoyed that my view was away from the harbor facing a construction site which started at &am each morning and that when I simply stated that not everyone liked flavored coffee in the room, was told that I should go to the restaurant While overall a nice Hotel for my experience it was overpriced.” Apr 22, 2006 by
Anne from Tualatin, OR
“Looks like it has been remodeled recently. Nice hotel with friendly staff. Impressive workout equipment. Comfortable and clean.” Feb 23, 2006 by
Michael from Olympia, WA
“Small rooms, very clean, very well appointed lounge, underground parking. One block from the Port Angeles ferry; just off downtown.”
